Beach House- Troublemarker

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ0gjytxJ6g

Lyrics:

"Like a hand you reached out to me
The thunder rolls in with the dawn
Tiny fingers on the edges
Watch it unravel pulling everything apart

In the night we stick together
The walls are shaking in their skin
Does it become you troublemarker
Watch them unravel you
Pulling everything apart..."

M83- Midnight City

T-Square...this is music?
Prometheus - Peter Weyland TED 2023

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUxdAWrsag8

...it's your thread...and it looks interesting...I'll be watching for it on DVD.

Na, It was more of a troubling thought that didn't help me sleep at night.
Seen it in the Theater.

I suppose somewhere between Sleepless Nights and the futuristic past video of Stars are In Your Eyes, I thought fit a futuristic past video to a future that stems out of the past where.....and theirs the movie.

I havn't listened to this band for maybe a year.
I remember thinking it was too dark. The blank expressions or "Stepford wife" type look...
Then the lyrics.
I also find it brilliant. Personally I have a hard time listening to it.
When are we again?

Mars Argo - Machine

...Saw Gary do this two weekends in a row at the "Day On the Green" in Oakland back in '76... Each time it opened up with the most kickin', and extended, FUNKY & Pumpin' Bass riff/line I've ever had heard then or ever again...
...still gives me the shakes when I think about it...

Gary Wright- "Can't Find the Judge"

The studio version...one of my fav. albums...my copy disappeared back in '99...I'm a happy camper today...[Hey, were's the smiley with a sombrero?]

J.J. Cale - "Tijuana"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub1SGEVP6oA&feature=related

...and I only just discovered this cover that I never had heard before now...David Lindley is one of those musicians that doesn't get the recognition that he deserves ...quite often does covers better than the originals.
