orb of aspects in composite charts

Can practised astrologers give me an idea of the orb for aspects in composite charts? I feel no more than 4 degrees?? what do others think.

I use no more than 3 or 4 degrees (4, maybe 5 for conjunction)

5 degrees may be felt but it will be weak, in my opinion
