Will turn 32 in less than an hour. Why am I still single?

Hi all! I'm a soon to be 32 year old female and I want to be in a relationship. Will this happen for me? Is there any obstacle that you can tell me that is in the way? I will attach a copy of my chart.

Well, my parents went through a messy divorce when I was a child and I've gone to therapy to work out the kinks. My little sister is a virgo and 29 and she is still single as well.

I have had quite a few long term relationships. I seem to attract cancers, gemini and caps. All through my 20's I was in relationships but they were either abusive (emotionally and physically) or the spark wasn't there.

As a leo I love having a companion. I love affection and I will never give up on love but I am trying to work on myself so that if the right one comes along I won't pass it up or mess it up in some way.

I'm also afraid of divorce since so many family members have gotten divorced. Thanks in advance for your help and input.

I'm currently a teacher but have been thinking about becoming a Speech Therapist for a few years now.

Poverty, war, famine, these are things I spend a lot of time thinking about. I've traveled to South East Asia and South America and have seen the damage that results when we ignore our ties with nature. I go to traditional Native American ceremonies here in NYC and I feel that connecting with nature and with the earth is the best path. I consider myself to be spiritual although I grew up protestant in my native country. But yeah, I believe that if people reconnected with nature it would help the world. My friends are constantly telling me that I can't solve the world's problems and that I should just worry about what I have control over, but I still like to share my ideas and views with as many people as possible in the hopes that it will lead to change of some sort.

In my PM i will touch on this, it's important to understand that this is holding you back from marriage, as it has hard aspects.

this is just one of the many puzzle pieces in your chart, but the one I found to be most affected when it came to your marriage and why you're single. with everything I see (neptune in 6th, juno in 12th, pt fortunre conjunct in 12th, midheaven pisces, south node pisces, hygeia pisces) you NEED to serve humanity, and may be single because you haven't done it yet. you need to leave behind your various spiritual beliefs in order to settle on a common direction that can serve humanity as a whole, in some ways your friends are right, in many they are wrong. You need to serve.

Thanks guys. I'm dating a bit but I know I'm dating the wrong guys. My friends are telling me to just get out there and date. There was an EARTHQUAKE on my birthday! Funny way to remember my bday, honestly. I appreciate all the advice. I guess I'm just worried about my prospects for love and if it would be difficult for me to find someone that I'd be compatible with based on my chart. From the likes of it I guess it's not me, it's my job and my ambitions in life. We'll see how it all goes.

well then, stop it! if you're dating the wrong guys, date someone that makes you COMPLETELY uncomfortable, this is a strong indication that it's the right guy for you = )

How sure are you of your time? as I see it may be rounded up to 2.0am?

You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing.

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

I would discount mars square pluto as the orb is to wide for me, but as you have said you have been physically abused this aspect fits the bill albeit very wide orb..

Saturn square Neptune suggests having your dreams and aspirations crushed in early childhood by father/men and/or authority figures and can lead to periodic depression

your chart lacks the element of air and pluto is a singleton ie: only planet in air and this suggests, "sweeping statement syndrome" with not enough thought put behind speech on occasions. But having planets in air houses should help to compensate a little

Neptune has close square to MC making career decisions problematic

First of all Happy Birthday and my advice is to anonymise your chart. This can be done on Astrodienst by ticking that box on the right hand side. Just wanting to protect you. You never know the scammers and crazies that are out there.

According to the chart that you have loaded Jupiter rules the 7th. If you are not sure of your time of birth then there can be a big discrepancy with the rising sign, its ruler and hence the cusps all around your chart. For an accurate reading the time has to be absolutely right in your case... However, Jupiter is in the 3rd connected to other planets there and it suggests that you will partner with someone who is an study group with you, whilst travelling, from childhood or even on the internet or with magazine or suchlike personals. A neighbour or someone you see on a regular basis. WHen transits go through or connects to the 7th is when we marry but your 7th is empty and it indicates that partnership is not really the main focus of your life. The 5th deals with our romances and lovers.

Asteroids are just space junk and not to be taken seriously. THere are literally thousands of them and who can provide facts as to their influence?? MOst just myth and legend.

most of those "space junk" pieces you refer to are near the size of a planet, Ceres is comparable to the moon, you're telling me the moon has little influence on the chart? who can provide facts to the moon's influence astrologically? find one person who can prove it and I will buy you a pony.

I certainly wouldnt use Juno with anything other than a planet and even then just as support maybe. The myths on Juno vary from courtesan, lover and uncommitted affair to the jealous and shrewish wife...:biggrin:
So dont put too much store in it.

You do have a concentration in the 3rd house of communications, study, travel and everyday movement....Siblings and neighbours as well as school chums...

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

So in Equal house your mercury and leo stellium (jupiter, venus,sun) would be 2nd house but venus/sun are within 5' orb of 3rd house and can be said to have a foothold in both houses, but prob more in 3rd house.

So Leo in 2nd house look to leo trades, like acting, gambling, working with children, self employment, creativity, arts, music even.

mars square pluto could be good as sports or martial arts as it can attract and/or give out physical violence occasionally.

Saturn conj IC/home roots suggests where you lack confidence and conj moon suggests financial hardships (like mother) and saturn squares neptune can suggest having your dreams aspirations crushed in childhood by father/men/authority figures and can lead to depression on occasions...
