I just looked through Jane Ridder-Patrick, A Handbook of Medical Astrology, 2nd ed. She gives parts of the body not only ruled by signs, but by degrees. Bingo. Your Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio is at 16 degrees, which rules rules the right ovary. 17 degrees Scorpio rules the left ovary, where your Pluto is located. Then your BML conjunct Pluto, is involved with a T-square. Your Pluto-BML oppose your moon in Taurus (girl planet) and square your Mars-Venus (girl planet)-NN.
Thank you waybread, Frisiangal and sasa62! You gave me a lot of food for thought.
Waybread, you wrote:
"I have a left knee joint replacement, and the exact degree of my Jupiter in Capricorn is the left knee!"
How do you discern the influences in your chart for diagnosis? Is it because Capricorn rules bones? I really have to get that book or read good sites about medical astrology, links to good medical astrology sites will be very appreciated.
I don't know, but it might. Libra rules the kidneys, with the adrenal glands sitting on top of them, if we work our way, head to toe, through the signs."Ridder-Patrick gives the adrenal glands to 3 degrees Libra. This doesn't seem like a hot spot in your chart, although a transit could activate it. Rex E. Bills, in The Rulership Book gives:
adrenal glands: Jupiter, Libra (possibly sun, Scorpio)
adrenal gland cortex: Mars
adrenal gland medullary portion: Saturn
adrenalin: Mars, Aries, possibly the sun and Saturn."
Thank you for description of adrenal glands. I wonder, the fact that my Pluto is in seventh house, and this house is ruled by Libra in my chart, has some significance?
Possibly-- I have a pretty "masculine" chart with 7 planets in air or fire, Mars conjunct sun, and (androgenous) Mercury ruling my ascendant. "Masculine" traits did not come out physically for me, but more in my self-expression. For example, I participate on several forums, and people who don't know my gender typically assume that I am male. When I was young the sister of one of my close friends seemed to have the health issues you describe but she married and so far as I know otherwise lived a typical feminine sort of life. Also, my chart ruler is Mars, and Mars is in Aquarius, so masculine planet in androgynous sign (as Frisiangal pointed out) could be a factor too?
I was in my 30s, and had some success with my career (in a then very male-oriented field,) was happily married, had two beautiful children, &c. But suddenly the center just didn't hold. I didn't know who I was or why I was on the planet. At this time, I picked up astrology (in desperation, thinking it might have some answers) and got myself into therapy.About the cycles of life and seasons in nature, I see, as you wrote, the joy and beauty of it in gardening, there has to be a respect and acceptance of natural cycles of birth, growth and ultimate death, which are very plutonian.
"When transiting Pluto squared my sun (which was awful,) I found taking night walks with the dog, just around my neighbourhood, to be therapeutic."
Could I ask, what have you particularly experienced during this period? I will try to take night walks too, especially now, when there is a beautiful full moon and clear sky with bright stars, like yesterday. I see it being therapeutic.
Astrology is a life-long learning process. It will accelerate as you read charts for people and learn from their feedback. Good luck with it!About living life "close to the bone", I have learned a little how to restrain my plutonian tendencies in interaction with people, and I try to give it a positive manifestation, because I see I need to experience it anyway. There were a lot of deep interactions with blurred emotional borders, and I experienced having emotional power and being totally powerless, and it shaped me now and made me more cautious.
Thank you for noting that I could be a good astrologer, I wish it could be true A lot of learning ahead of me.
Also, I studied vertex within synastry context, but never as a separate being within my chart. Do you think the opposition to Sun is very meaningful in my chart? That I need to integrate consciously its teachings into my life or it will become apparent in life despite my will?
Frisiangal, thank you for your input.
"Both secondary progressed Venus and Mars are now in a long sojourn in Pisces through the 12th house.
Maybe there is something more pressing behind the hormonal question?"
Thank you for this remark, and looking into my secondary progressions. Although, I'm not sure what you have in mind about more pressing question? Physical or emotional? Maybe tied to piscean subconscious?
Please, give me a clue.
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-information/degree-anatomical-correlations.phpAre you familiar with the different parts of the body in relation to the different signs and houses? Basically it starts with Aries/first house and the head, Taurus/second house for the neck and shoulders, on down to Aquarius/11th house for the ankles and Pisces/12th house for the feet.
I don't know of any good sites off-hand (Frisiangal??)
Internet is full of them.
My favourites?
Max Heindels 'Guide to Healing' and 'Message in the Stars',
Greek Medicine Net,
World-of-Light 'Medical rulerships' - a vedic site yet wonderful information,
Harry F. Darling - 'Essentials of Medical astrology',
Donna Cunningham - 'dictionary of medical astrology.
Both are books partially available through the net. Darling's book is a fascinating read.
Aquamoonlight site,
Eileen Nauman - already mentioned,
Ingrid Naiman (my inspiration)'s site.
Practically every medical condition will bring up sites when linked with astrology. e.g. 'PCOS-astrology'.
Internet....A never ending source of information.
Sasa62, thank you too for response.
The stressful time, between 2012 and 2016, could be linked to my studies and having a lot of learning linked to pulling an all-nighter and drinking a lot of stimulating drinks maybe, coffee too, which I should not drink at all. Also alcohol. I studied law and now I'm an apprentice and it's so much to bear, especially when it's more of a duty than passion.
You write about a fall of immunity, how do you see it? It's interesting.
