I have just started an analysis of Stephen Paddock's natal chart; we don't have the time of birth, so unfortunately we cannot go into a detailed analysis which connections with houses would afford us. However, planetary positions and star connections can provide much insight, especially when we connect these with the above Mandalay Massacre event chart, and the 8/21/17 Eclpse chart.

Paddock was born on April 9, 1953, in the city of Des Moines, Iowa.

An initial observation is that Paddock's natal Sun, at 13Aries41, is in near exact parallel of declination with the alpha star of the Lesser Dog, Procyon (a mag. 1 star)

According to Robson, among Procyon influences can be "...activity, violence, sudden and violent malevolence...elevation ending in disaster...and makes its natives petulant...easily angered...proud, careless and violent."

Ebertin writes "...Procyon has a Mars/Mercury nature and therefore makes people hasty, jealous and pig-headed...there is a tendency to being hot tempered and imprudent...but it also confers will power and ability to put thoughts and plans into action...rise and success are found with it, but fall from high position later."

More analysis of Paddock's natal chart, and its progressions and connections with the Mandalay Massacre event chart and the 8/21/17 TSE chart, will be forthcoming.

I believe there is a strong connection between Paddock's natal predispositions and activation of these predispositions by the 8/21/17 total Solar Eclipse.

the birth certificate looks like april 4th not aptil 9th, though it is not absolutely clear. dr.farr were did you get your date?

I agree that the entry on the birth certificate almost looks like a 4 rather than a 9; however, virtually all media references give April 9, wiki also gives that date, so I have gone with that date.

My source for declinations and celestial latitiudes is astrodienst, the Paddock natal chart (2nd page where delination and latitude are given), and the Mandalay Massacre event chart (astrodienst) and the 8/21/17 TSE chart, drawn for the time of maximum obscuration @ Plato, MO (population center of the US), also from astrodienst.

Of course, Paddock was connected (actually responsible for) the Mandalay Massacre (MM) event chart. Natal:

Sun trine Pluto, just over 1 degree (sense of purpose)
Vesta conj Node, just over 1/2 degree, square POF less than 1/2 degree (major sense of destiny, history)
Pluto opp Moon to less than 1 degree (sense of purpose but a feeling of urgency and uncertainty, which could lead to rash decisions)
Sun on MC square Chiron in 7th to just over one degree (always hurt and betrayed by loved ones)
Juno conj Venus retrograde in 10th to less than 1/2 degree (highly values team work to achieve success, which likely means was not a "lone wolf" in this shooting)
Mercury in Pisces novile Pallas within minutes (highly intuitive, follows hunches when working on any project)
Mars in Taurus sextile Uranus to 10 minutes (highly disciplined, can think on his feet)
Mercury sextile Jupiter to 1/2 degree (creative, inventive)
Moon trine Neptune to less than 1 degree (again highly intuitive, psychic)
Moon trine Saturn 2 degrees (disciplined but creative "out of the box" thinker and keeps emotions in check)

Almost all of his aspects are very close, 1 degree or less. This is a person who was born thinking they were on a mission and had a date with destiny. A sharp, smart, disciplined thinker, creative, quick moving. He does not display the aspects of someone who was borderline crazy or likely to "snap". He appears to be a planner and works well in conjunction with others.

Transits:

Tr Uranus had recently crossed Juno/Venus conj and was moving back over again: likely felt time was running out on his project and may have felt rushed

Tr Node conj Pluto and sesqiquad Juno and DSC: The time had arrived for this project to reach its conclusion, the parts were in place and it was time to act

Tr Saturn sextile Moon: thoughts are under control

Tr Vesta sesqiquad the Moon: another spiritual aspect implying a powerful desire and wish is reaching conclusion

Tr Mars in Virgo sesqiquad Pallas : another spiritual aspect of a divine hand guiding a project, a solution and the conclusion


This looks more like a person associated with a cause (like Jihad or something similar) than any sort of "lone wolf" having a psychotic break. This was well and long planned act, it felt like a destined act, and he did not act alone.

You should go with April 4. Look at the squared left bottom of the top shape, as a 4 would be. A 9 is rounded.

A blow-up of Paddock's birth certificate has been posted here on AW by member Unique Astrology in his "Stephen Paddock" thread; it is clear that the date on the birth certificate is April 9.

Interestingly I previously DID delineate the April 4th date! The declination and celestial latitude connections with the Eclipse chart and Mandalay Massacre chart were fairly close to those of the actual April 9th birth date chart, but THE CORRECT BIRTH DATE CHART, APRIL 9, ADDED ADDITIONAL AND IMPORTANT PARALLEL CONNECTIONS to the Eclipse and Mandalay Massacre charts. The added LONGITUDE connections of the April 9 chart with the Mandalay chart were particularly significant; also the parallel in declination of natal Uranus with the Ascending degree of the Mandalay chart.

Added also, from the April 9 chart, this time in connection with the Eclipse chart, was the parallel in latitude of Paddock's natal Mars with the Eclipse Moon, the Moon, of course, being the "active element" in producing the total solar eclipse-a very significant connection between Paddock's natal and the essence of the 8/21/17 Eclipse.
