Around Aug 1931, Saturn joined in,(in Capricorn) to oppose Pluto and make Uranus the point of a T-square between the three planets.

The events during the time of that Pluto/Uranus square proved to be very significant in terms of subsequent changes in power bases around the world.
Hi Lillyjgc, we can expect many changes in light of the Uranus/Pluto square - especially during the seven exact aspects between 2012-2015 between both planets. It will not be easy for many countries to emerge from the global recession now taking place in many countries. This, in turn, will cause frustrations to build in 2010 and 2011, then, as the first of the Uranus/Pluto squares active in June 2012, the pressures from populations will greatly expand, causing upheavals throughout nations and greatly upsetting power bases - and up-ending old structures.

The coming T-Square involving Saturn in Libra oppose Uranus in Aries and both squared from a right angle by Pluto in Capricorn will usher in a new age, and cause new forms to emerge out of the old structures. Obviously, because these planets are in Cardinal signs, the problems are just beginning.

Saturn's transit in Libra from 2010-2012 will be rough, but will also bring forth some measures and regulations that should have been followed over 10 years ago, and which would have forestalled the global downturn. However, it is too late now. When Saturn enters Scorpio in October 2012, most of the world will continue to be deep in depression, with some nations re-emerging out of it (the United States) earlier than most, but a changed nation nonetheless.

The worries about the rest of the world - particularly eastern and western Europe, and emerging nations, is that their systems will not hold up because of the slowness of recovery efforts, and the length of time it takes some nations to get back to work and increase their declining GNP. The problems in the U.K., Ireland, France, and Germany, for instance, as well as throughout most of the European Union will stretch many member nations to their limits.
