And if only these rich countries would stop making all the money from the resources of poor countries so that they can rid themselves of poverty and make their lives worth living.

As a person that lives in a poor corrupted 3rd world country filled with resources, I can testify that what you say is just so wrong.

Rich countries actually pay us good money for the resources, and employ thousands of people in their extraction. By doing so they boost the economy of the poor country. Sorry but your point of view, is totally off. Here in the 3rd world we don't oppose big companies, we embrace them and we want more of them to come here.

making all the money from the resources of poor countries
so that they can rid themselves of poverty

Exactly. It is beyond cruel irony
that Africa 'requires Aid'
– Why?
BECAUSE
Africa provides 75% of the world's gold
as well as vast quantities of valuable diamonds
along with multiple minerals, cocoa, sugar, tea, coffee
and SUPPORTS the world's millionaires and billionaires
with raw materials obtained at an unfair price on the world markets
- obviously Africa is therefore wealthy beyond belief.
Where are the gold mines, diamond mines
coffee, tea, cocoa and sugar plantations in Europe/USA
that produce even a miniscule %

of the vast resources produced by Africa in those areas?
That's a rhetorical question

Yet
Europe boasts multiple gold, diamond, coffee, tea, cocoa
and sugar millionaires/billionaires.
Tens of millions of captured Africans
provided enforced slave labour
that not only built the magnificent cities of Europe /America and other lands for free
but also toiled as slaves on plantations for free.
The Great British Empire was built on the proceeds of Slavery.
Africa's vast natural wealth attracts exploiters.

Africa provides the world's armament billionaires
with a steady flow of rich pickings
as wars are stirred up
– those wars require guns, munitions, tanks
and all the paraphernalia of war.
“War lords will steal it” is a classic non-argument
that is simply nonsensical
when one considers that those same warlords
are financed by the west.
An example of double standards is

QUOTE:
"It's puzzling how the US can treat radical Islamists in Syria as allies
while fighting against them as enemies in Afghanistan"
says the chair of the Russian parliament's

Committee on Foreign Affairs.
"Washington's double standard approach is evident in the Syrian crisis.
It supports the armed opposition
which wants to turn the country into a dictatorship,
claiming that their war against the Assad government has democracy as the goal" declared Aleksey Pushkov

Capitalism hasn't failed yet. We still live in a FOR-PROFIT economic system. There is still a very small, VERY wealthy group of ruling elites, using the vast majority of the population as wage-slaves, which is making the money for them.

Better healthcare and living conditions for the wage-slaves makes good, Capitalist, business-sense. FDR was one of the first of the wealthy ruling class to realize that.

The elites have socialist capitalism

while the working class have trickle down economics.

Markets are propped up

by taxpayer-funded government giveaways for big money elites.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country burns.
