What does it mean when your natal rx planets have gone direct in progressions..

In my natal chart I have the following planets in RX.
Neptune (sag) H9
Mercury (Leo) H6
Jupiter (sag) H10
Chiron (aries) H1

All my planets have progressed and are now direct.. The only thing RX in my progressions is Chiron, which is one degree less than it was when I was born.

In general what does it mean when natal planets go direct?

I have heard Jupiter going direct is rare (not sure if thats true or not)
Its common for Mercury turn direct..

Chiron STILL being Rx what does that mean?

mercury is the quickest moving and will go direct within approx 21years as retrograde merc is usually 3weeks or so. I have merc retro and it went direct age 19 and with hindsight communications became easier, more fluid. It tends to make a very analytical mind set, and prob a people watcher in childhood and poss not comfortable communicating/expressing thoughts etc.

Jupiter retro, suggests someone doesn't *need* to be overly sociable, but going direct have you noticed wanting to be more sociable and expand. Of course it all depends on how your jup is aspected.

If you mean Secondary Progressions, these are symbolic and are usually based on the ratio of 'a day for a year' - so if Jupiter is retrograde in your chart, (and lets allow a lifespan of a hundred and five years to be optimistic!) it needs to turn direct between birthday and the following one hundred days for it show up on your Secondary Progressions. I said a hundred and five days because one of my cousins celebrated their one hundred and fifth birthday - then died that year - so it is possible to live for 105 years!
here's a thread on progressions changing direction that could prove very useful to you http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=303785

Thanks for the link...

Im a bit confused did you mean that Jupiter doesnt go direct until your 105th birthday?

I checked mine
My natal Jupiter is 28Sag53 R
I went through the years..
on Aug 2 1988 Jupiter was at 28Sag29 R
On Aug 2 1989 Jupiter was at 28Sag29 (direct)
On Aug 2 1990 28Sag29 (direct)
1995 = 28Sag33 (direct)
2003= 28Sag49 (direct)
Today Aug 2 2011 Jupiter is at 29Sag17 (direct)

So is it unusual to have Jupiter go direct? Mine went direct in 88/89 when I was about 16/17..
I did become more outgoing during this time..
Or did I do something wrong?
Im looking at Astro the Natal/Progressions chart.

No, I did not mean that! remember what I wrote?

Am I being clearer when I say that (in most people's charts) in order for a retrograde Jupiter to turn direct, Jupiter needs to go direct any time between the day you were born and up to one hundred and five days afterwards to take account of exceptionally long lived people? So for you, Jupiter turned direct sixteen days after your birthday. So symbolic Secondary Progressions treat the sixteenth day after your birthday as symbolic of your sixteenth birthday.

Wikipedia says it much more clearly!

QUOTE: Also called A-day-for-a-year progression , Major progression and Secondary direction. This progression involves moving the natal chart forward one day for each year of a person's life. So for example, a person born on April 2, 1982 would have a progressed chart for 2007 drawn up based on the position of the planets on April 27, 1982 (i.e. 25 days for 25 years). The patterns formed 25 days after the person's birth are considered to be symbolic of the person's 25th year of life, and indicate potential tendencies and trends for the year. Secondary progressions are considered by the majority of astrologers to be the most important form of progression.

There's no need for you to do the calculations - a computerised astrology programme does the calculations for you!
posting your natal chart as well as your progressed chart would simplify matters

four faces of mercury
“It’s easy to determine your Mercury type. First locate the Sun in your birth chart. If Mercury is clockwise from the Sun, it is Promethean. On the other hand, if Mercury is counterclockwise from the Sun, your Mercury type is Epimethean. The following depictions of Mercury’s four faces are expressed in general terms. They provide launching platforms for your own insight and understanding into the types. Don’t apply them rigidly. As with everything astrological, much depends on the horoscope as whole.”

cwl! just in case you have not seen it, this is how you post your chart http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12126
Need to view that
Yeah I was just asking in general.... But I will go ahead and post my chart

Im posting natal and progressed and progressed.

In the progressed I have a nasty T-square with Saturn/Sun,Merc Mars/Jupiter..
No wonder its been....... shall I say an experience.

The only easy aspects are with Neptune:pinched: AND in H7:unsure:

I notice Natal Vertex is conjunct the P.Sun/Merc/Mars
Maybe thats why Ive been having these "everything" is fated feeling.
I live by this..
P.IC is now ruled by Cancer, I used to move around a lot as a kid.. I refuse to move anymore..
I have lived in the same place for 13 years.

I have really felt the difference when I progressed into a Cap Moon..
Ive been very "Saturn like" .. Im sure that t-square isnt helping either.

These last 3 years have been hell. I feel as if I have lost my soul, and Im running around searching for it.. Looking through all the cracks... Everything has changed... IT was all out of my control.

Ive been feeling better lately though.. I have been more out going, and not so withdrawn from people.. Im ready to socialize.. FINALLY... Im tired of being the responsible one... Everyone relies on me... Ohhh Lioness will do it...

I think this one is mine.. My Mercury is 2 orbs behind the Sun in RX.

If your Mercury type is Promethean-Retrograde, you possess a mind seeking independence from biological limitations and the dictates of social convention. It does so because it is driven by an intuitive impulse to realize a new quality of being, the full nature of which you may not as yet clearly or fully understand. But independence from natural compulsions and social convention often leads to a more or less violent rebellion against the past and its traditions, or from anything which holds back your mental eagerness.
Eventually, the Promethean-Retrograde type generally tires of resisting whatever she feels hinders her freedom. Then mental combativeness gives ways to a powerful intuitive identification with, and a creative contribution to, something
