I have hd endometriosis for almost a decade now but it was diagnosed two yrs ago. followed by a myomectomy and i am still learning what it is and how it can affect me and my fertility. i have had severe emotional problems due to the disturbed hormones lately. i have always had these problems but now they are becoming very difficult to handle. alot of these problems have also been due to disturbed childhood. i have pluto in 4th house conjunct moon and venus at the cusp of scorpio and saturn and uranus in fifth house in sagitarius. i have recently gone through the saturn return and its almost over. just a few more months to go. i have mars in sixth house in capricorn which is conjunct the transitting pluto currently. can anyone here please help me figure out why i have endometriosis and how i can cope with it since it doesnt have a cure yet and the causes are also unknown

Wow okay so I have endometriosis. Can't have children and have issues you speak of. I'm 41. Here's what I find similar. I too have Neptune in H6, and my moon is in H12 (opp my neptune). You have Neptune in H6 and your H12 is Cancer!! That's a similarty.

ALso I have Pluto in H4 just like you have Pluto H4. I lost my homeland very young and my family and I are very separated.

YOu have Mercuy in H3. My Mercury is Gemini!!

Quite a few interesting "similarities?"

Glad to see your reply. Wasn't even sure anyone would understand the word endometriosis.
So what do all these similarities mean? Pluto transiting my sixth has affected (activated) my Neptune and also its opposition to my moon's house? I thought Pluto represented endings, how has it started the disease or does this disease represent an ending?
Also when I was diagnosed I had Jupiter transiting my twelfth house, moon had entered fourth(libra), Venus was in seventh(aquarius), retrograde mars and northnode were conjunct my natal moon and Venus(libra), transiting Neptune(pisces) was sextile my natal Neptune. Some of these sound like good placements. Why did these give me a bad news.
Pluto entered my sixth house around 2006-7. My docs had told me at the time of diagnosis that the disease may have started around 2006-7. Is there a way I can deal with this problem

I have Pluto in the 4th as well. Don't have endometriosis exactly---but did have massive scarring on my fallopian tubes from an infection from an IUD in college. I had to have surgery to clear my tubes to try and get pregnant but I just had 3 miscarriages--never carried to term.

[ luckily I adopted two precious babies-now grown]

The 4th house = The Womb. Pluto there can be destructive. :bandit:

I just checked Jane Ridder-Patrick's Handbook of Medical Astrology. She gives body parts actual signs and degrees. Scorpio and the 8th house rule the genital organs. She gives the right side of the uterus to 4 degrees Scorpio, the left side of the uterus to 5 degrees Scorpio (where your Pluto is located,) 6 degrees Scorpio to the uterine cavity, and 7-8 to the fallopian tubes.

She also has a section on planetary pairs, and says that endometriosis, fibroids, and heavy menstrual periods are more common in women with a moon-Pluto contact. Your conjunction is very close.

Pluto moves so slowly that millions of women would have been born with Pluto in or near 4-8 degrees Scorpio, but your moon and Venus close by (the female planets) you may be especially vulnerable.

In terms of your progressed chart, the moon and Venus would have passed by fairly quickly, but Pluto might still be lingering in the zone of the female reproductive organs. Worth checking, anyway.

I hope you're getting some good medical care on this.

One interesting thing that Ridder-Patrick says about female problems associated with moon-Pluto is that sometimes these women have "extraordinary intuitive power" which they tried to suppress thinking they were bad or crazy. But once they recognized and accepted their intuitive abilities, the physical symptoms lessened. While I don't think this is a substitute for good medical care, if this sounds like your powerful emotions just now, you might try just to accept that you have some extra abilities, and use them for good.

I just found out I have endometriosis and I am very fertile and have had three children. Ill look into this deeper when I have a moment. But I do blame my progressed mars square Neptune (irritation of the hormones).

Ok im back. So endometriosis effects the reproductive organs, so it is an 8th house matter and ruled by scorpio. Hormones are ruled by Neptune and also is the reason for endo. Put two and two and u have your answer.

Natally, my 8th ruler squares Neptune. And progressed mars is now emphasising that square.

Well my pluto is 29 libra so I think I fit in the category. My moon is semisquare pluto does that count? But surely you cant say everyone who has pluto in early degree scorpio has endo?

But I will agree, looking at the chart that the querent's moon venus and pluto in scorpio sextile Neptune is a good indicator. Jupiter is 6th ruler and squares 8th ruler so this hidden disease is poorly affecting your health.

Also, some ppl don't believe me about this but retrograde planets can do some sort of damage to the planet receiving it. Has a doctor tried to give you any hormone medication to make it better?

I just wanted to point out that mars in Capricorn stands out to me. It is the 10th ruler and north node is in 10th also. Im not sure what these placements would mean healthwise cos I don't know enough about 10th house and Capricorn in regards to health, but I think whatever it means, it can help.

Thank you so much guys, your feedback means alot to me.

@waybread: thank you for the concise explanation of the aspects, I can finally connect the dots. As for the emotions, I can not really understand how something so unstable(in a negative or damaging sense) or chaotic can help me unveil something constructively intuitive. My emotional and psychological condition despite medication and therapy is as such that it took me three days to actually read and comprehend something on this thread without losing my focus and experiencing extreme anger and pain after reading a single line. today after several long sessions of crying, compulsive eating, etc. I could muster courage to at least read the responses from the last few days. I really want to do away with this obsessive anger and baggage because at the end of the day I am damaging myself by harboring it but I really dont know how to.

@spiritlite: Thank you for suggestion, I found her site. I have been on alternate medicine since before my diagnosis when me and my doc didnt even know the reason I was constantly ill. And it has helped me to some extent, I will explore the possibilities that her site offers.

@Abby83: Thank you so much for the Neptune related info. I am looking into it so that I can prepare myself mentally for the future transits. And I am also going to look up the mars-midheaven aspects. Till now I always related it to my career and daily life activities but as you said it may lead me to find help with health issues. lets see :) As for the treatment, I have had surgical removal of fibroids and cyst, as well as birth control and hormonal meds, progesterone etc. I have also been taking homeopathic meds which have been helpful with managing the pain to some extent. I will keep you posted with the successful as well as the unsuccessful treatments so that you can also try them. There is one thing that I am trying to get the hang of is managing my emotions. In all my consultations with doctors, therapists, astrologers, spiritual advisors, friends, and even my SR chart, I have noticed a common element that is about emotions, feeling comfortable in my world or making myself at home (not literally). I dont know how to do it yet but I am looking for ways, any suggestion would be helpful. I read this article by Dena Gerhardt, that fourth house isnt always about the physical home. it is the lowest point in the chart and whenever we suffer a set back from careers, relationships and/or our inner demons, we fall and we fall into the house of home and unless we have build ourselves a firm stable foundation/home i.e. our inner self we can not go ahead and put ourselves out there again for the relationships and careers etc or we will fall back again. May be this is my wake up call to identify or acknowledge the problems that lie inside my heart and womb and deal with them before entering the cycle again. What do you think?

Thank you again :))

Thanks for the update. I've been told the same thing about emotions and my natal moon is conjunct south node 1st house.

But seriously, how and why do ppl have to be emotionless to prevent health problems? I personally find that emotions help us make decisions in life but unfortunately have an adverse effect on health, esp. when aspected by slow transiting planets. The 8th house also rules emotions so I can see how it is related to endometriosis. Your moon is in scorpio so scorpio related issues give you happiness? Do you aim to be powerful in your family? Your 8th ruler is in sag so do u crave a lot of freedom and adventure?vI know my 8th house ruler is in libra and moon is in sag. Im pretty sure my emotional happiness would involve these two signs being happy which they have not been for a while so that explains a lot. Ive been trying my best to make myself happy and feeer the last few yrs but I guess you cant run away from transits or progressions :(. All the best though. It looks like you're on the right track.

Fz, I am so so sorry...I know how despair you feel. I have endometrosis for 17 years, probably longer due to misdiagnosis, it was stage four and resulted in my partial removal of my bladder 5 years ago. It's all come back, I just had a painful episode yesterday, probably due to holidays stress among lots of other things. I am not an astrologer but have self-learned for quite a few years now, will take a shot at looking at your chart.

For me, the first major episode which lead me to the ER on a new year's Eve night, was my first Saturn return. I finally get properly diagnose until 6 years later after. Also look at the full moon and dark Moon too, try to take care of yourself a fees day leading to full moon or dark Moon, I found that those are the days prone to high stress situations, and then a day or two later painful episode follows.

There is an app with a lot of us who suffers from endometriosis on it. It is a good community to get support, etc. I found it helpful. PM me if you want to know the name of the app.

Take care!

Maybe this will be nonsense for you, but i cant help sharing you what I feel.

I immediately saw the MOON+VENUS+PLUTO in your chart.
This can be explained in so many different ways, but I want to tell you that my mother has MOON conjunct PLUTO in Scorpio and she had an ovary tumour.
Again a problem associated with the Female organs (MOON) and Sexual organs (PLUTO).
You can translate this also as EMOTIONS(Moon)+MOTHER/FEMININITY(Venus)+TRANSFORMATION/HELL(Pluto).

So there can be a conflict in yourself regarding your mothers emotions with you, OR your own emotions about your own femininity, that are DIFFICULT/DARK (Pluto.)

The way your conflict manifests (endometriosis looks like it wants to block something), is like you want to protect yourself from something difficult that you need to acknowledge and fix actually, not make barriers.

You could have had a manipulative/obsessive mother that gave you unconsciously a system of belief that YOUR FEMININE ENERGY is BAD. Accepting that negative system without realizing can backfire in this physical form.

I just have to flip open my laptop and give you what I have learned and found over the years of suffering which is still continuing, I can't do much over the phone screen :)

The app is called myEndometriosisTeam. Install it and say hi :)

I am also Virgo sun, and Saturn in my 5th house. 5th house govern not only creativity, but children and starting of a family too. Saturn in this house can indicates infertility, or having difficulty in forming a young family.

First and most important, is to debunk the mass misconception which we sufferers and some healthcare professionals are trying to make aware. It is not a 'uterus issue', 'just a period pain', 'just a uterus' disease. How I know that? Because even if we have hysterectomy, with everything removed, no uterus, no ovaries, endometriosis can still come back and spread! So NO, it is not about that **** woman organ. Years of digging just let me conclude this is not the case. You can research it, find a good endometriosis specialist (yes I say Good and Specialist), not just any OB/GYN, and ask him/her questions. Make a record of symptoms, moods and what you eat calendar, bring to the doctor, believe me this will catch their attention. It has proven that it is excessive estrogen level, and finally found one thing that is for sure, it is dioxin. I believe the results of a high population of female 'hormones' ailments are a collective one. We are in the age of Pisces, going into the age of Aquarius if not already in it.

Emotions, try to understand them. Don't deny them. Emotion dictates our actions, it is not 'weak'. I know it is tough and frustrating, well it frustrate me that the world has suppress 'emotions' and 'left brain' focus. By the way, it is proven in the marketing, neurology and psychology fields that we can talk and think about 'logic' all we want, but at the end we make our final decision based on feelings, impulse.

Ok, back to the stars. I will skip the 'why' and give you the 'how'.
Here is what you need to look out for:
Saturn returns: age 28-29, 58-59. this explain finally you have been diagnosed.
Saturn opposite: age 14, 44, 74. This is often the 'midlife crisis'. Depression can sets in.

Uranus opposite: age 38-41. Your Uranus is in your 5th house, hard aspects with Jupiter opp your Sun in Virgo. Jupiter is in your 8th house, which is the ... endometrium that grows everywhere else hidden but the right place!!

Moon phases: monthly. Since your moon is in Scorpio conjunct Venus at 0 degree, you will feel it even more and be more emotional than others. So look for the full moon and new moon, track your stressful days in relations to the moon and your bad days. Meditate or take precautions on what you eat and who you hang out with accordingly. I truly think the moon takes a big part of governing our hormones in general, men and women. That's another whole new topic.

Hope this help!

This is so true. I just want to point out how it relates to me. I've only had symptoms since ive experience a 'manipulative, destructive, negative, hell mother in law who dislikes me being happy and has endless energy in ruining my days.' Noting that my moon is in sag and needs to be around happy positive ppl to be emotionally fulfilled, your theory makes sense.

As for the querent, with the moon venus pluto all in scorpio in the 4th house I wouldn't be surprised if there are power plays within the family that affect your emotional and physical health.

One more thing I want to point out is that the moon represents the woman, mother and mother earth, it makes sense that there would be a need to nurture mother earth and nurture ourselves with the right foods free of the man made products that have harmful chemicals in them, as proven with endo.

Oh, no. Ridder-Patrick absolutely acknowledges the Ebertins on p. 127 of her book, A Handbook of Medical Astrology, and notes permission to publish their degree list granted by their publisher. She did not plagiarize it, which is a very serious accusation.

I mentioned Ridder-Patrick's book because I have a copy of it, and could refer back to it if anybody asked. It is available on amazon. The work she cites by the Ebertins was in German, and I couldn't find out if it had been translated into English.

I don't think Saturn is the problem. The nature of your problem is within the domain of Scorpio, having to do with the sexual organs. Endometriosis is associated with abnormal or sudden growths around the uterus. Sudden abnormal growths are in the domain of Pluto.you have a stellium of moon /Pluto /Venus. This is most likely point of causation. Your sun/uranus square midpoint is conjunct the problematic stellium. I'll bet dimes to donuts, if you check back to when this condition began, you will find the nodal axis conjunct this stellium.
Your Uranus is also square mercury and this midpoint is also conjunct the stellium. This would show the connection between your screaming inlaw and your condition.
rahu

yes i did confuse the screaming inlaws with another poster.
the south node transited you venus/pluto/moon stellium in dec 2004. which is when I would think the problem first started.

the node squared your Saturn and pluto/Neptune midpoint in nov. 2007, which implicates your Saturn as you think.

a herbal remedy for sudden growths and tumors is red clover blossom and violet leave tea taken 3 times a day. I have seen these teas facilitate passing prostrate cancer as well a curing warts and external tumors/skin growths.
