Hi there,
I am new to this site and have five+ years of astrology study under my belt at this point. I am finally starting to "read" charts and have my first appointment scheduled this coming Saturday. I feel confident, however the inevitability that it won't go "as planned" is a bit unnerving even though I know that is the nature of the practice.
I agree with aspects of both traditional and modern approaches to astrology. I don't believe in labeling a placement as "bad" or "good," nor am I interested in predictions based on a natal chart.
I'm interested in developing my practice around the belief that when people have an astrological perspective on themselves, they will have more awareness and therefore more "control" when navigating their own lives. At least this has been the case for me personally. I had my first astrological chart consultation in October of 2010 and it changed the course of my life and the way I view my own circumstances dramatically.
I look forward to conversing with others in this community.
Thank you.
