Re: Overcoming Challenging Aspects Using Solutions Found in the Natal Chart

A useful and interesting thread here...

I'm an old man, and perhaps the perspective from the end of the trail might interest some of you...

We live as we must, according to the dictates of our...

Re: Planets as school teachers?

Yes, lovely saying this is. And so true. Exactly what I am finding during this Pluto transit I'm going through. I've lived both sides of Pluto, the manipulative side which I can be quite good at if I...

Great post Carris.

Great film too. But when Morgan Freeman's character goes to the bedsit he sees that it is where another elderly person has hung himself earlier in the film - after being...

Re: Overcoming Challenging Aspects Using Solutions Found in the Natal Chart

Yes, this is quite possible, I guess. But I think that Saturn lends itself to a particular way of expressing ideas that isn't always conducive to us getting the best out of ourselves. Another way of...

Re: Overcoming Challenging Aspects Using Solutions Found in the Natal Chart

One useful trick is to imagine that your squares or oppositions are trines or sextiles. Same planets, just different aspects. What would your life look like if you were to work toward the more...

Re: Does your 7th house describe your marriage/spouse?

Very interesting! I've had personal experiences where money from other people came to me during transits to the 2nd and its ruler rather than the 8th. On the day of my second marriage, both houses...

Re: Does your 7th house describe your marriage/spouse?

I have Mars in Virgo and Venus in Libra. I tend to like man that is clean, neat, intelligent, graceful with polite manner. My ideal man should be clean and well dressed, humble yet intelligent. He...

Re: Does your 7th house describe your marriage/spouse?

Good subject! I'm curious, too, to see if any of this works for other people.

With my clients, I've rarely seen the 7th house sign correspond to a partner's Sun or Moon... not sure about...

Re: 12th House Interpretation Request!

Interesting to consider from a couple of standpoints: Obviously my Moon position but also that Venus has "set" in my chart (5th house) and that's where I encounter challenge.

I think it's...

Re: Aspects of homosexuality?

Nature does not make distinctions between sexual expression. Sexuality is natural, no matter what expression it takes. Astrology is also natural. Therefore, astrology also will not make distinctions...

Re: Planets as school teachers?

Yes, Carris-- absolutely! Saturn is my wisest teacher. But Mars teaches courage, Juipter teaches faith and optimism, Pluto teaches existentialism (!) and so on.

I've posted this many times, but...

Re: Planets as school teachers?

I like that description of the school teachers!

With Pluto, as a teacher as I'm in his classroom right now, (and I had schoolgirl crush on one of my teachers at real school, many many years ago)...

Re: I don't know what to do with my life

Sensible advice, Carris. I love to see the unique and creative ways people act out their charts, including career choices. I dislike trying to predict and thereby narrow their field of vision. Not...

Re: 12th House Interpretation Request!

Carris, I enjoyed reading your reading.

You're very positive about everything... I feel like a doom and gloom merchant by comparison

Just a minor correction; Mriga is ruled by Mars.

No ofeense to anyone (and neither directed at ANYONE), but we should have more respect for Carris and her opinions. We all have our own opinions on the matter - that is the 12th house- but we can't...
