Re: USA charts - the ultimate debate

I don't tend to think of the enemies of the US as Gemini, which is quite fickle and easily moved by outside influences. This is part of the reason the Sibley chart doesn't seem the most accurate to...

Re: USA charts - the ultimate debate

You make some very good points, Estrellero. I believe Ptolemy, followed by Lily, gave all of North America to Gemini. So of course the US, which claims much of the territory, would have a certain...

Re: The influence of Spica?

I have Spica with Neptune, Jupiter's modern day partner so it is natural that I would see Spica the way Ptolemy and others before him saw it, as Stachys, a lovely herb I was drawn to originally (the...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Thank you, Tsmall, for taking the time to look that up for me. This led me to find a full portion remnant left in the field, "The Book of Reasons". What a blessing to start my day with....

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

I attended at least as many schools growing up. But I can't say that I was born with street smarts, which should be true if one is born peregrine and that is what the nature of a peregrine body is....

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Welcome, Wisher.

Tsmall, I've read here more than once, the description of peregrine being people that are, . I must disagree. Of course, this would be a description of Saturn when he is more...

Re: The age of Aquarius

JupiterAsc, interesting article. I've been using the phrase, 'prison industries' for years. It's a huge money maker, starting with the fines and court costs.

I'm not sure where these years come...

Re: The age of Aquarius

The border overlap would explain the difficulty in aligning the evidence of a new age with the timing of the cusp change. Anti-slavery and labor laws are surely a sign of the end of Pisces and the...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Oh, you have read through the Babylonian cuneiform? I've only skimmed the translated Mul Apin. I'm sure you are right that none of the ancients used the word yod to mean an aspectual configuration...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

I spent some time looking through more ancient texts to see if I could find the origin. The earliest I've found so far is 2nd century. Vettius Valens uses the word, αλλοδαπός, translated by Riley as...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

Time the White House received the passed bill. It's not over until it's over. Moon square Pluto, conjunct Uranus, reviving that series of squares.

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

I agree the separating aspects aren't as important, other than that is what is already built in, like the foundation. I have the date of the back injury but not the arm. But, when I started that job,...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Sun only has dignity in the first 10 of Virgo, ruling the face. Mine is beyond that degree. I don't follow Tyl's definition and that was one of my reasons for participating here. We shouldn't be...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Good morning, Poyi. Thank you for your input. I believe both Ptolemy and Dortheus assign Sun to the 1st face or decan of Virgo. So, Sun is left without dignity. Yes, Mercury would have full reign but...

Marius, thank you. Wonderfully stated.

I was playing with you Poyi. I should have added a smiley after the others so you'd know. I'm sure it isn't that you aren't intellegent enough to understand...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

There's a good chance an agreement will be completed by 9 or so tonight, before Moon moves into Aries. Moon's final aspect was a trine to Jupiter from Pisces. The plan was given to the House after...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

No, Marinka, they are not all midpoints but even if they are, you don't think they are important connections? I had a few repeated events that I would describe as very unexpected and tyrannical. I...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

Well, you may have to look beneath the surface or consider a couple of degrees difference, which is valid. Here's a few connections I see, US=Solar eclipse:

Venus/sunrise MC=eclipse lights...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

Well, if we are discussing the astrology of the governement shutdown, then I'd think that transits and how they tie into events connected to it, as well as eclipses, new and full moons or any other...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

As another deal when down the tubes last night, Moon was approaching the degree of the coming Solar eclipse mother degree. This is also opposite the degree where Uranus and Pluto started their new...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

As I mentioned, she has the correct year in the pdf. But she doesn't list the month and day for that eclipse in the pdf, just the year for 16 North. She is using it as an example for another purpose...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

:surprised::crying: I don't think so. Actually, I know that is not true. This cat has a home, is loved, not bad looking and never steal food. For many years I grew and raised it, then preserved it...

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

Re: Can planets in Fall or Detriment be peregrine?

I disagree that Zosma is selfish and takes advantage of others financially (barring other factors that lean this way). A mother is quite selfless and must depend on another for income when she is...

Re: The First U S Shutdown In 17 years Is Imminent On 1 October 2013

Poyi, she had the correct year in her pdf so she obviously made a mistake in her book. I think Fred Enspack (sp) at NASA pretty much has this down to a science because now it's a matter of...
