Re: Empath/Psychic indicators in a natal chart

You seem empathic, with your moon closely conjunct Neptune, and Jupiter conjunct vertex. Do you also have second sight (6th sense, prescience)?

Re: Will they offer my husband what he wants from the job

This is kind of a tangled tale.

I used the 7th for your husband, ruled by Saturn. Generally not so good but Saturn picks up a lot of steam by being domiciled in Capricorn. Co-rulers in the 7th...

Re: Will I get an internship at one of the car companies I applied to this year?

Well, you know the saying-- even if you're not religious: "When God closes a door, He opens a window."

And cheer up-- we might be mistaken.

Re: Will they offer my husband what he wants from the job

Can you say what your husband wants from his job? Depending upon what it is, it may show up differently in the horoscope.

Also, if you are able to post the chart using the Astrodienst...

Re: Natal Chart for a younger friend

You friend has a very strong chart in some ways with several domiciled planets (in the sign they rule.) These are sun, moon, Mercury, and Uranus.

Her big concentration of planets in the 7th...

Re: 5 Planets Stellium 8th House (Cancer - HELP ME!)

The water element is super-strong in your chart, mostly because of your big stellium in Cancer, but also because of your Pluto and ascendant in Scorpio.

The moon indicates your emotional nature,...

Re: Will I get an internship at one of the car companies I applied to this year?

I don't think it looks promising: a late degree rising, VOC moon, and no applying aspect between Venus (employer) and sun (you.) The sun is also in detriment.

So let's hope I'm wrong-- or that...

Re: Cadent houses being weak vs planetary joys

Have it your way, Petosiris. I know you're not communicating with me simply to argue.

As I noted, there is a lot of overlap between climatology and meteorology, but also areas where they are...

Re: Am I safe and secure in my house?

Lux, I'm not seeing from this chart that you're in any particular danger, with the moon (you) ready to conjunct your 4th house ruler (Mars) in what seems to be one of the nicer houses (the 5th.) If...

Re: Cadent houses being weak vs planetary joys

OK, then what? The joke among cognoscenti is that climatology is like meteorology, it just takes longer. Meteorology deals with explaining weather, and especially forecasting. Climatology deals...

Re: Will I do another masters?

This chart isn't giving you much encouragement. But I wonder-- a green card is pretty hard to get, so is there an option for you to keep your job but work on an MBA part-time? Many MBA programs are...

Re: Should I accept this offer?

I think it should go well. You're Mercury. I've put your job prospects as a 6th house matter, ruled by Mars. Mercury applies to a sextile with a domiciled Mars.

This may not be about being...

Why do you associate a difficult life with Saturn in the 5th house of children and amusements? Everybody has Saturn somewhere. Do you want to post your chart?

You can't deny your chart, but you...

Re: Cadent houses being weak vs planetary joys

Ptolemy was clearly a Renaissance man before the Renaissance, or what is also called a polymath. I think his big project was encyclopedic and systematic. Also, back-then, people did not...

I've wondered about this, and I think we've raised this point before.

I'm not clear that Ptolemy was always talking about his local environment. As a geographer as well as an astrology author*,...

You would read a Davison and midpoint composite chart the same way, but they charts are based upon different assumptions and give different results.

In a composite chart, the sun gives the...

Re: Cadent houses being weak vs planetary joys

It's hard to say, passiflora, because the pre-horoscopic origins of astrology appear to be in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt. Certainly star lore (cultural astronomy) was very different in different...

Re: Early death? Both of my young children have their moon in their 12th

I do think there is something to medical astrology. Just the caution that planets, signs, and houses all have multiple interpretations, and the most dire ones may not be the correct ones.

Also,...
