As an "Ecliptical astrologer", this doesn't bother me at all. It's the measured points along the Ecliptic-based zodiac that matters most in reading a Chart. [IMO]

Here's a practical example--you see an exact conjunction of two planets along the zodiac. But, looking at them in the sky, they aren't in the exact same place. They're separated by Declination.

Only if the planet is physically on the plane of measurement in the coordinate system of choice (astrological zodiac, for example). Otherwise, Declination is necessary to locate it visually. Same...

Monk, for example, as an astronomer, dislikes the use of celestial longitude for locating the stars in what he considers a meaningful way. That's why he uses parans viewing.

You're conceptually challenged, apparently. Just seeing planets and stars in the sky is a far cry from creating a systematic way to create an astrological configuration along the Ecliptic.

You can't see the Longitudinal-point position of a planet. It's the geometric intersection of a line perpendicular to the Earth's Equatorial plane and the Earth's orbital plane.
