Re: Astrology says that woman are submissive!?

If you look at a "blind" horoscope, you cannot tell if it belongs to a male or female. If you took up a challenge to read it, you would have to describe any qualities like "alpha type," "brave,"...

Re: Will I be happy with this item if I buy it?

I would not encourage you to buy this item. Venus is about to change signs to Aries, its detriment. The sextile with Mars will only complete after it changes signs. With Moon's nearest aspect to a...

Re: Do you agree with this? (House Positions = Sign Placements)

Thanks. So Mom's dream-fish ascendant has been mightily Plutonized with an opposition, and Saturnized with a square. Since the ascendant is one of the "me" points in the chart, I imagine she feels...

Re: Do you agree with this? (House Positions = Sign Placements)

Traditional astrology has looked at personality since Hellenistic times. Generally it was defined as "temperament" and based on the distribution of planetary elements. (Sanguine=air,...

I would agree that the square to the ascending degree is the source of the problems.

Re: Most elevated planet

To my understanding, whereas Greco-Roman practitioners gave special attention and consideration to the MEP as such, traditionalists hold that the most elevated planet 's potential influence in the...

Re: Newbie question on Medical Astrology

You can see things in the natal chart sometimes, and horary deals with medical astrology.

But decumbiture (the chart for when the patient first fell ill) is pretty much the norm in traditional...

Re: Most elevated planet

No, I don't think so. But it is hard to say, I suppose. Because it depends upon the context of our meeting/interaction.

I have Jupiter in Taurus tightly conjunct the Ascendant. And Jupiter...

Well...all the traditional wanderers are below the horizon in my chart.

The only things I have above the horizon at all are not "planets"...either the south node or Pluto.

South node is the...

Re: improving health: what should I do?

Hi,
Saturn in harsh aspect is said to refer to the physical body's 'weak spot', so it is for you to ask yourself what is it about Saturn's retrograde position in Aquarius's abstract mentality (Air)...

Re: improving health: what should I do?

Typically I see Saturn squaring or opposing the Ascendant when someone is complaining about skin (acne, wrinkles, eczema, etc), premature aging and brittle nails. You have Saturn Sesquisquare...

Re: Most elevated planet

As an historical note, in early Greco-Roman astrology there was a decided tendency to give primacy to the MC rather than to the ascendant, and to give special attention to any highly elevated planets.

Re: The Outer Planets Are Real! So what do we do with them?

Believe it or not, I consider the outers to have just as significant influence upon individuals as the traditional 7 planets do, and just as much influence upon individuals as upon mundane matters; I...

I've noticed a pattern here. Venus/Libra is associated with romance and Libras are stereotyped as being very flirtatious people with lots of partners (isn't true IMO) but I've noticed that the women...

Re: The Outer Planets Are Real! So what do we do with them?

Of course they do have value. The question I have now is why people constantly feel the need to validate their use of them? Frankly I wouldn't care if no one else used outer planets; I still would.

Re: Anyone who uses whole-signs nowadays for natal?

I truly acknowledge your point. The power of suggestion is rampant in astrology.

Part of the problem is that:

1. No astrological signature works 100%. This may be due to the fact that a...
