Smile Re: Sun in Essential Detriment in Tropical Aquarius

It just goes to show that generalizations are fun, but unreliable.

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?

I don't see any logical reason why there shouldn't be an Age-indicator that transits the tropical zodiac. Since there's one for the sidereal zodiac, there should be one for tropical as well. [IMO]

Look at all the geniuses in other fields of endeavor who think astrology itself is an archaic superstition.

Smile Re: The Ugly Side of the Age of Aquarius

I'm pretty sure that the mental block is caused by a simple misunderstanding of what the constellations are, in sidereal astrology: They're SIGNS, not actors. The actor in the case of the sidereal...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

Well, I'll describe how I arrived at a candidate for a tropical Ages method, and why I felt compelled to do it, in a new thread. What I'm trying to understand on this one, is why nobody else...

Smile Re: The Ugly Side of the Age of Aquarius

Ancar, I have a new thread in the Modern forum entitled "Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?" As you know, the sidereal Age-indicator can't tell us anything about tropical Ages,...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

Right. I'm talking about a "voyage of discovery" regarding a tropical method for the Ages, tailored to the tropical Chart. Does anyone see a reason to go on that voyage, or not? I've just given...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

As the title suggests, the question I'm really asking in this thread is, do you have any objection to tropical Ages, to go along with the sidereal Ages? It would remove the need to consider the...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

The sidereal Ages are based on Precession of the Equinox, which is the result of "Earth's wobble" as it rotates. In order for the tropical zodiac to have an Age-indicator of its own, it would require...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

Well, the number 360 is a good example of how imperfect the astronomy is when it comes to even numbers. There SHOULD be exactly 360 days in a year--that would be perfect, instead of 365.24.
Then,...

Smile Re: Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?6

The astronomy just isn't in tune with the whole-number patterns you love. It's messy, and it varies when it comes to precession. Even the constellations are unequal in length, and we have to impose...

Smile Re: No such thing as a bad chart?

A very Saturn-oriented Chart might seem "bad" to someone with a very Neptune-oriented one, and vice versa. I always like to know an openly judgemental astrologer's Natal-chart so I know what what's...

I just look for the functionality of the Natal-chart, starting with its strengths and intrinsic abilities. Then, I look for the obstacles that might interfere with them, and a way around those...

Smile Should the Tropical Zodiac Include Astrological Ages?

The well-known and much talked and argued about Aquarian Age is entirely sidereal. That means, it doesn't have any application to the tropical zodiac most of us here, in this Community (including...

Merc was exactly Conj the Sun 7 hours ago. It's now still less than 1 degree apart, moving Retrograde through tropical Scorpio.
