I practice a very simplified form of traditional horary. I was fortunate to get a bit of a tutorial from a former member who is (or was) the horary moderator at Skyscript....

If a planet is in detriment, it means that a planet is under a spell of the lord of the sign.
Example
Mars in cancer - it doesnt perform well because Moon is a ruler of cancer.

Mars is in your 1st H.

If you turn the chart to read it for them, you would use the 7th H as their 1st H. That means that they are in their own 7th H.

The 7H is ruled by Mars. Uranus is just a planet in the 7H it doesn't rule the cusp of the house. It's not a planet used in traditional astrology.

Given reception between your significators, Venus and Mars, I would say that he holds you in warm regard, but he/Mars is definitely not doing so well, Mars in its detriment.

I wouldnt put timing on the plate because it isprobably one of the most difficult things to figure out.

My own charts I mess with timing bc I expect things to go weird ways.

Hey Elena

I think there is a TOL from merc ... Mercury last aspected mars then it is moving towards Venus
mercury carries venus'energy therefore it should be classified as TOL

Thoughts?
