Dr. farr was clearly an advocate of using declination to determine aspect significance in his own astrology. But, he was also a firm advocate of the "if it works for you" school of thought.

As far as I've seen, very few astrologers are using declination to determine the level of significance of an aspect.

It's a 2nd house Saturn opposite Mars in the 8th, but it IS loosely part of a Mars/Jupiter/Saturn t-square. So, you're right about emphasizing Saturn. For example, that could cause some difficulties...
