Re: Hitler & the Golden Yod

Hello again,
An orb of a degree and a half is perfectly acceptable, but as John Lilley intimated, quintiles require activation, and that usually means some level of life experience and evolvement....

Re: Hitler & the Golden Yod

Hi everyone,
Just a quick response, I'm off to London now to see some old friends. I am the author of the article on Hitler and the Golden Yod; I used to be a regular contributor here, and I am...

Re: House( 2)

I would say though that Pluto on the 2nd is going to be similar in quality to Scorpio on the 2nd, which is markedly diferent in style to Libra or Virgo on the 2nd. Scorpio believes that less is more...

Re: The Astrologer's Degree

Well, the fixed stars do move but only maybe a degree and 5 minutes every century (or something like that).

Thanks for the link, it is an interesting read :)

Re: The Astrologer's Degree

well, all the way from 25 to 29 Leo are considered astrologer's degrees. I don't think it is because of Regulus though. Maybe you could post a link? (Everyone has Regulus at 29 Leo, it's a fixed...

Re: Car dead, no cash, optimism crisis!

EJ, Star, AG,
My debts are not really a problem; in theory they are, but I have no money and nothing of any value in terms of possessions, and I really don't care about that, I have had a debt...

Re: Car dead, no cash, optimism crisis!

Hi AG,
I asked my wife, she says it is whether we will get another car, but I would say quickly, because a car in a month is not going to work :)

here is the chart if it helps.

Car dead, no cash, optimism crisis!

I know this is going to sound like a crazy question.

This morning, while taking my children to school, the engine in my car exploded! I have had quite a day, eventually I managed to tow the car to...

Re: Can you say quintiles...

Jennifer,
You have a peregrine Uranus, which is very interesting. It also forms the focus of two quindeciles from the Mc and Chiron. That will become an enormous factor in your life, something that...

Re: Can you say quintiles...

I have done a fair amount of research on the quintile; as already noted it is a fifth harmonic aspect which John Addey always associated with the use and abuse of power; because of the occult...

Re: suicide

According to Ebertin, just the 14 degree point. I did not mean to worry you of course, there would need to be other factors I would say. Please don't be alarmed on my account AM, there are diffiuclt...

Re: suicide

I am not a big fan of rules in astrology, but of course they do exist. To say that planet A in sign B = effect C though is overly deterministic. I would say that very often, people who read their own...

Re: suicide

I would say your Neptune rising square Saturn in worrisome Virgo has much more potential relevance in depression related problems than Moon in Capricorn.

Re: suicide

Interesting. My wife has Capricorn Moon, t-squared by Ve conj. Ur opposing Chiron and she has never been depressed in her life. Pragmatic, taciturn perhaps, quite tough emotionally (actually very...

Re: Ruler of 2nd House Conjunct Pluto in Scorpio

Hi Raindrops,
My apologies for not making the connection before, sometimes it is quite difficult to visualise a chart from text alone :)
The ability to earn money is derived, like the attitude...

Re: The Astrologer's Degree

Gaer good buddy, I am all over this :)
I have PoF at 25° Leo, Pallas at 26° Leo and Jupiter at 27° Leo. I love astrology, but I have to admit a real love for a good bottle of red as well.

In...

Re: Ruler of 2nd House Conjunct Pluto in Scorpio

It is also good to bear in mind that placements in the second denote those things we do out of necessity to have money, often this has little or nothing to do with career, which will be indicated by...

Re: The Astrologer's Degree

I have to say, some of these degrees are fascinating for me:
Mercury 6° Scorpio: Occultist.
Moon 15° Scorpio: The Center of Regeneration, The eagle point.
Neptune 22° Scorpio: Refinement,...

Re: Notice anything weird in this synastry between cousins?

I would need the data to be sure about this, but it seems intriguing. Pluto square Venus may be suspicious, although the conjunction and opposition would be more suggestive of external forces and...

Re: Notice anything weird in this synastry between cousins?

Yes, you should do that. Note the degree of separation between Pluto and Venus, move Pluto's position forward by one degree for each year from birth and see at what age it makes a contact with Venus...

Re: The Astrologer's Degree

Julie, you are spot on, we don't need to give in to causal thinking, to say x=y is binary and only computers are comfortable with that. There is no astrologer=x configuration, however, as we all know...
