Re: Reception Question

I'm sorry, but that's hilarious to me haha

Trying to find deeper meaning in something that, in the end, has absolutely none whatsoever is something I would do lol.

It does make a pretty...

Re: "Almost" aspects

I'm still so stuck on this. Not confused, but there's just so much to consider and take on that my brain feels like it's bouncing around in my skull. This is why I think I still feel the Mercury...

Thanks for all of that info, Waybread. I'm digging it. Very cool.

Re: "Almost" aspects

Claire, I think that's a pretty stringent way to see it all. Maybe you're right, though. However, it just makes sense to me for there to be a myriad of connections between the planets that influence...

Re: "Almost" aspects

I've always thought that the planets connect through each other in so many different ways, that way being one of them. I remember asking about it a while back on the Astrodienst forum, and I felt...

Re: "Almost" aspects

Yes, I do actually have a Mercury/Uranus midpoint that's activated by the North Node. I've never really considered the North Node as significant as the planets, though. But please correct me if I'm...

Re: "Almost" aspects

Thanks for your responses, guys. I haven't looked much into declinations, but I guess that'll probably be my next go-to in my astrology research. This topic, though, is just something that has been...

Re: "Almost" aspects

Interesting. You mention singletons. My Venus is a double singleton. It's the only planet in a fire and mutable sign (Sagittarius), and it's in the 10th house (but not on the MC). I don't think my...

Re: "Almost" aspects

Sorry. Does not compute haha

But thanks for your reply. I think I'm just used to seeing online charts use specific orbs, and any standard other than those seems... forbidden? in a way.

"Almost" aspects

Does anyone take into consideration aspects that are just out of accepted orb range? A "sextile" that is 6-7 degrees? A "square" or "trine" that is just over 9? Should we just ignore them? Would they...

Re: Are ascendant aspects similar to aspects to their ruler?

Thank you for your responses. I still think that there's something to what I'm theorizing, if you can even say that that's what it is I'm doing. I have Mercury trining my ascendant which is Aquarius,...

Are ascendant aspects similar to aspects to their ruler?

I've been thinking about this for a while, and it makes sense to me. I've asked about it before, and some seem to agree while others aren't even sure that ascendant aspects other than the...

Re: House ruler aspects

Thanks for your reply. Could you explain to me why this configuration leads to problems?

House ruler aspects

I was hoping I could get some clarification about house ruler aspects. Do they matter? And if so, in what way exactly? For instance, the ruler of both my 8th and 5th houses is Mercury. So... now...

Re: Advice for "Poorly-Aspected" Mercury?

Yeah, I know it's VERY bad haha. I can only laugh at your comment because it's just so true that it's funny.

Thanks for the advice, though. I try to accept certain things about myself, but I also...

Re: Mercury sextile/trine Uranus

I've always suspected that he's a Gemini rising as I don't know for sure. My brother is a Gemini rising, and I can see the similarities between both of them. They're both very chatty.

Re: Merc-Sqre-Uran: Mental Defect?

Wow, what other aspects do you have in your chart? Because it's crazy how similar we are, especially with that texting thing you mentioned. And I don't even have a true Mercury/Uranus aspect in my...

Re: Mercury sextile/trine Uranus

I don't have an exact aspect, but my mercury trines my Aquarius ascendant. I was told that it's kind of similar to the trine with Mercury and Uranus. Having read descriptions of Mercury trine Uranus,...

Re: Mercury sextile/trine Uranus

I know a few people who have the square, and one of them definitely fits those descriptions. My dad has it, but he's more a funny kind of guy as opposed to a quick kind of guy. He says things that...

Question Advice for "Poorly-Aspected" Mercury?

I'm not really one to believe that hard aspects are necessarily that, but my life is sort of a testament to that, I think. It seems like after the 3rd grade, my social capabilities began to stagnate....
