The grand trine is a planetary formation. Thus (in my usage) only planets may participate.

And bravo for TSmall's comments. Each grand trine, or any other planetary formation, must be considered...

Hi. Yes, any aspect between any two planets can be troublesome, at least initially. A lot depends on what is going on in the rest of the chart of course. Any aspect between Mars and Pluto implies...

Hi. We often think of Mars and Pluto as being 'on the same page' so to speak, and of course in some ways they are. Pluto is considered the higher octave of Mars, and they share rulership of Scorpio....
