Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

I didn't make it public. David said up thread that he'd reported the post. So, it already was public knowledge.

If he hadn't said anything to you all about reporting the post, I would have kept it...

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

All,

The rule for this thread is indeed:

Tables qualify. They're a graphic, not text. Deleted the posts that contained the tables and the meme, as well as comments on those posts that quoted...

Re: For compatibility do you check the synastry or composite chart first?

The most important thing is get to know the person, and have an actual relationship with them, before you do any astrology. That's how you know what your relationship with them is really like, and...

Re: Mental illness and a wedding

Any relationship you have will call for that kind of deep work. We've discussed that before.

The important thing is how this relationship works for you. Not other people who might think they have...

Re: A Voyage of Discovery: Astrological Ages for the Tropical Zodiac

All,

Respect the topic of the thread you are posting in. I have just deleted several off topic posts. That included a post that was made to drive traffic to the poster's blog, which is strictly...

Re: What proof is there that pisces is co-ruled by jupiter?

That Mickey Mouse's dog needed a more interesting name than Rover (which is what he was called originally). So why not name him for the newly discovered planet? It was timely and perhaps futuristic. ...

Re: Permanent residency

Horary questions require a specific kind of chart. Since the OP did not post a horary chart, this is not a horary topic. I've moved it to Read My Chart. Requests for advice based on birth information...

Re: What proof is there that pisces is co-ruled by jupiter?

Pluto is the god of the underworld, not war. And Pluto the Disney character was named after the planet, not the other way around...

Re: What proof is there that pisces is co-ruled by jupiter?

It's an impossible birth chart. I suppose in theory, everything could be at 15 degrees of its sign at once--but Venus can't be at 15 Libra if the sun is at 15 Leo. That puts them 60 degrees apart....

Re: Tarot: two of cups, lovers, knight of swords

Was this a three card spread, with a meaning assigned to the position of each card? Or was it just three randomly drawn cards, with no particular meaning assigned based on the order you drew them in?...

Re: Horary or astrology question

What you're asking is a horary question. It can't be answered based on your birth chart. However, in this forum, you're required to post the horary chart yourself when you ask a horary question. It...

Re: Transit Jupiter trine to natal venus, moon and mars, but no luck in love, only? W

And on your implied question that I see--looks like you're asking, "Why didn't Jupiter trine my Mars and Venus bring me a relationship?"--transiting trines are not moments of change. The trine is the...

Re: How does Mercury retrograde affect you?

Is it?

The only way to determine if any astrological "fact" is true is to observe and see if you experience it... if the condition for that "fact" (such as having natal Mercury retrograde) applies...

Re: How does Mercury retrograde affect you?

One of the best trips I ever took happened during Mercury retrograde, and I only did minimal planning ahead. I went back to where I'd lived years before, I dropped in on some very old friends--a...

Re: Is having surgery during mercury in retrograde bad?

Actually, it depends on what kind of surgery it is. Waning moon is best for surgery to get rid of something. Waxing moon is best for surgery to add something. Also, which body part is being operated...

Re: On moon/pluto natal

Everyone your age has that double whammy in synastry with you. It's an even bigger double whammy if they also have a Moon/Pluto aspect of their own. It's not clear to me whether by "double whammy"...

Re: Should I take the cash settlement?

That's not what you're supposed to do when responding to an astrological thread. The rule is astrological posts only, which means you need to look at the chart if there is one. And it's advisable to...

Re: Celibacy in traditional astrology

Lostinstars, check the ephemeris for the year you were born. Your DC is in Taurus, which makes Venus its ruler, and you were not born during a Venus retrograde. If Venus went retrograde within...
