Re: Trying to understand Asc and the mercury ruler. Please share your viewse

Normally Mercury in the 7th is not problematic for relationships unless it is troubled for some other reason, like difficult aspects. Probably communication in a relationship is extremely important...

Re: Should I take the cash settlement?

I think we're looking at an 8th house matter, whether as "shared resources" or proceeds from litigation (2nd from the 7th.) The other party is ruled by Mercury; and the 8th house, by the moon. Then...

Re: Celibacy in traditional astrology

Hmmmm.... AJ, are you sure they were all voluntary? I am thinking of the castrati singers: boys with beautiful high voices who were castrated before puberty to retain their high vocal range. ...

Re: Was astrology created to benefit people?

Hi, Tim-- I think astrology was created to benefit people, although not necessarily in ways that we would consider important today.

Basically the foundational problem that people want to solve is...

Re: Celibacy in traditional astrology

With the category of men known as "incels" [involuntary celebates] I have sometimes wondered why they didn't consider prostitution. I am not saying any particular celibate male carries all of the...

Re: Suddenly started taking recreational drugs every weekend.

This aspect suggests that "If a little is good, a lot is better," even when it isn't.

What about some high-impact exercise. Like running?

Re: Martial Law: Elite Marines called to active duty 10/19/2019

No JD, Cecile, I'm just an information junky.

In my previous working life, I had to read huge amounts of material within short periods of time, so I developed speed reading habits. Plus I'm...

Re: Bible and Astrology

We are pointing out that the Bible's adherents do not all "accept" it in the same way. Compare the teaching of the Southern Baptists, with the Unitarians, just for one example. Jews do not accept...

Re: reconciliation with ex

Pb92. I use a simplified system of traditional western horary, which is probably somewhat different from what the others have told you. I'm not saying I am right and they are wrong, because who is...

Re: Martial Law: Elite Marines called to active duty 10/19/2019

This article deals with ingress charts, but happens to be a good primer for mundane astrology. https://www.skyscript.co.uk/ingresses.html

I've attached "the" Sibly chart, drawn up by astrologer...

Dear mods-- please bear with me. This post lays some groundwork-- the astrology follows up in the next post.

Re: Martial Law: Elite Marines called to active duty 10/19/2019

I could see that!

But let's hope that the US never gets to a point where we need it.

So far as I know, the US Constitution and laws do not allow for martial law. This isn't to say that a rogue...

Re: Will the father of the baby want to be with me and baby after birth?

I think there's a chance he will, with the moon's next aspect being a trine to the sun, his significator.

In the meantime, please talk to a social worker or lawyer. If you live in a western or...

Re: Martial Law: Elite Marines called to active duty 10/19/2019

Cecile, I don't think this means what you think it means. Being on active duty simply means that members are full time in the service, vs. being in the reserves. Your attachment was hard to decipher...

Opal, I know you have not condemned the Bible!!! So sorry for the misunderstanding. I was responding to Greybeard and AJ.

I agree that a concordance is a super study aid.

I also have Jupiter...

Re: Bible and Astrology

What works for me is to think of God as this Divine Presence. Your church may teach that God is omnipresent. This is different from "the old man with the beard" (Sorry, Greybeard!) who lives up in...
