Re: Symmetry II

Notice, I did increase the orb factor to 112% because the square between Saturn and Neptune is a bit 'pushy', but otherwise you have to admit the symmetry here is phenomenal, mind blowing!!

Symmetry II

Here's another nomination for a chart reflecting an interesting and apt symmetry. You may remember the incident this year of a professional surfer being caught up in an incident involving a shark in...

Re: what chart style have you found to be most accuret?

I agree up to a point. Scientific method, as you say, relies on knowledge. Empiric understanding and interpretation of 'facts' as they are accepted to be known is key. However, the unknown is always...

Re: what chart style have you found to be most accuret?

What I mean is that a scientific approach, one where empiricism and thorough analysis are combined to ascertain a greater degree of certainty, is what should be aspired to. Although intuition...

Re: what chart style have you found to be most accuret?

I absolutely agree. If I came across as harsh I apologise Jupiter. I would like to know what your preferred house system is though  I understand your opinion about opinions, but I would like...

Re: Transits - Natal or Progressed?

The article is brilliant, thank you. I was searching high and low for a Sun/Venus link by all the natal and progressed variables referred to for a recent and powerful relationship and could find...

Re: Symmetry??

Katy I'm absolutely PMSL here for reasons I can't reveal, but no, it wasn't an athletic event, not in the traditional sense anyway

However, back to the question. Would the symmetry be of...

Re: Transits - Natal or Progressed?

Thanks Arena, a very interesting and apt article. I could offer you several charts but I won't bore you. I've tried approaching several astrologers with the above mentioned specific with very mixed...

Symmetry??

This chart was drawn up for an event which turned out to be significant. I recently noticed the almost perfect symmetry of aspect lines. Would this have any bearing on the interpretation, or would it...

Re: Transits - Natal or Progressed?

Thanks Katydid, makes good sense, and I've recently begun to wonder exactly what influences such progressions have, especially in childhood, so a timely bit of wisdom.
Also, I wonder what you'd make...

Transits - Natal or Progressed?

When looking at transits, is it more effective to use the progressed chart, or the natal chart, and why??

Re: what chart style have you found to be most accuret?

I've always used the placidus system, simply because I think geography must have a bearing on the nature of one's unfolding karma/life. Rudolf Steiner speaks very unequivocally about the specific...

Re: what chart style have you found to be most accuret?

No you're not! You're stating your opinion without stating your opinion. It's called sitting on the fence. And he's right, you do come across as condescending. Try typing without 'bold', and actually...

Child Sexual Abuse

Does anyone have any experience of working with victims of child sex abuse, and how that manifests in a horoscope? I'm keen to explore this area to see what elements would reflect this. I was the...

Astrodienst offer the option of simply inputting the date on the progression page and off you go, you can 'progress' to any date past or present.

Re: Do asteroid aspects matter

You know I had completely overlooked that aspect. I had focused on the DM Lillith elements.

What I would like to get some insight into, because I can't get any objectivity on it, is how I can move...

Re: Do asteroid aspects matter

That there was a sense of fate between us was/is of no doubt.., to me. I sensed it very soon after meeting, (as did she, although she simply said in a surprised tone that she "felt very comfortable...

Re: Do asteroid aspects matter

Would you not consider an exact aspect (e.g. for a square, less than 15', for a trine less than 20', for an opposition less than 30' etc) as relevant either? To me, logically, any body or point could...
