Venus in 12th house?
 

hi guys..so i could use some help with my chart..i have venus and mercury in my 12th house,can anyone tell me what it means?

am i doomed to be alone the rest of my life..when i look at my 7th house there is nothing..and this is the house on spouse and marriage?


also im trying to understand my personality...im a cancer with moon in pisces very sensitive dreamer..but also have this really diffrent tough side in me what is like my mother she is a gemini..very sensitive...but not the typical "clingy" cancer.

If no planets situated in h-7 then see where The Lord of h-7 is placed
That'll give lot of details about marriage.
Whereas Venus in 12th is emphasizes on bed pleasures and splurging extravagantly :)
I have the same in my 12th house with Aquarian ascendant and with no planets in 7th house

Kristina,

Jyotish uses sidereal zodiac (most of us!), so first thing to make sure is that you are using sidereal and not tropical. Since you did not share your birthdata, I am guessing based on the chart (looks!) that you are sharing a tropical chart :-)

Once that gets sorted out, the rest would be easy...

Not married yet .. Rather than being an early bird who takes the worm, I believe in being the smart bird ;)
And it would be better if you post your birth details because the chart you've posted is not the one we read

Kristina, you are a leo rising (in jyotish) with moon (& Jupiter) in aquarius and venus in cancer in 12th sign.

I am curious if you had an affair of heart or inclinations/opportunities for same, particularly between October 2003 and June 2006 -- If you are comfortable sharing that? Someone who seemed pleasant, charming, communicative, but yet having a sombre/dark/secretive side to his personality (somewhat hidden from others)?

But does this 12th house Venus has hidden affairs - like a relationship you can't officialise in public?
N since she has it in cancer sign does it signify one gets too emotionally attached with the partner ?

Taken as single and isolated factors, you could be right, although the 8th house is where most things get stashed and in hiding! Cancer signs and moonsigns, in my observation, do have an intense protective tendency towards all those they consider as part of self. It usually could be family, or part of extended family, their work-family, in some cases larger families such as communities, etc. Please understand that that would be a 'starting point' and not necessarily the conclusion because strengths, influences, afflictions, the secondary roles (as karakas of three types) of planets involved, situations in finer divisional charts, placements in nakshatra segments of the zodiac and aspects (signs and degrees) etc would have to be studied and so on...

i haven`t had many relationships..but when i have had them i have been too too attached with them..and that has always destroyed the relationships.i know that now.in 2007 i met this very charming guy you described..very charming,social...and he was allready in a relationship with child.he was like drug to me i couldn`t find the strength so stop it.even though i know it was wrong.but my feelings took the better of me..i have always fellin love with men who only wanna have fun with me. now after many years,hitting my head on the wall all those years it`s starting to change..stronger now..and not that weak girl letting men play with her.

i also thought my moon and jupiter was in pisces in 8th house?...but they are in aquarius in 7h house? because i have tryed to make my chart on diffrent sites and they show me diffrent charts.......one shows they are in 8th house and another shows they would be in 7th house....so what is correct?..

Moon at 21d 27m AQU and Jupiter at 29d 45m AQU. Folks using more extreme ayanamshas beyond Raman and even further away from Lahiri might get it in PIS. OR, where you are seeing them against #12 (8th house), the chalit or Sripati or Equal House Division houses, they would show in the 8th but their SIGNs do not change from AQU.

well very intresting..cause i always thought my moon is in pisces...cause i am quite a dreamer...always dreaming in my own world...i have no idea what moon in aquarius is like...but i have to read about that..=) what about the 7th house marriage..that is empty...but i was told to see where the ruler is...or something to find out..

Basically your 7th house is not empty and has an Aquarian 7th house with jupiter and moon placed in it.
If I'm not wrong it's kinda gaja kesari yoga in 7th house as there is no Malefic aspects.
Well, about my relationships it's just been the opposite as over a period of time I've withdrawn myself or have been aloof from the relationship. Maybe because I have Capricorn Venus in 12th house

im really starting to bellieve in this astrology..=) and that are sun sign alone dont tell much anything. halleluja! i think thank ur lucky stars u dont have venus in cancer!..;) bellieve me..=) just reading about this gaja kesari yoga...and it says it means good fortune,happy life,money...and so on.......this is definitely not the case for me...no good luck from my yoga...or maybe i just understand it wrong..=)

This used to be the belief decades ago, when society (all societies at one time...?) imposed the draconian RULE on womenfolk to stay home and tend to house chores and raising children! Perhaps times were simpler, frugal although not necessarily all spiritual uniformly? But that is increasingly becoming difficult, if not impossible for modern times and its societies! Yes, the change has thrown up new challenges but THIS CHANGE overall has been good, in my viewpoint! Status Quo may protect some (who make or made the rules?) and preserve their supremacy, but the world has moved far beyond and ahead and such beliefs must be questioned!! (my perspective, you do not have to agree or accept mine).

Each nativity is unique and no one, whether spouse, parent, progeny, or whosoever's chart does not influence another ones chart, lifeplan or karma!

That said, the beauty and elegance does show up in charts that show dove-tailed karma patterns, such as seen in families, and perhaps even communities, and LARGER segments of human-families! But, each experiencing nativity should have clear indicators of such things, as you pointed out!

Pardon me if my response is sounding a bit terse? I do not wish to impose my views on anybody.

GKY is not all that uncommon, and other yogas or arishtas too for that matter. Yet, not all seem to enjoy (or suffer from) the pronouncements given for one yoga or combination at a time! As we explore, we do come across pointers but REALLY, the best way to understand and learn astrology is not through internet and forum messages alone! Cracking open a text book, and painstakingly collecting charts and studying those is the ONLY way to go, and likely to be fruitful in gaining understanding of this OCEAN that astrology is, in its MULTI_FACTORIAL splendour and GLORY!

AND, there is no complete or perfect or ONLY treatise despite we hear or get told! Even in our usual and daily fare, how often do we eat just one dish for nutrition? Unless someone is on a freaky diet or similar idiosyncratic pursuit!

It is unfortunate that a rich body of knowledge and tradition in astrology has from time to time been portrayed as simply 'Sun-Sign' based. For instance tropical astrology due to its unfortunte association in the minds of populace with sunsign columns and annual sunsign predictions on the grocery-shelves! Had I not had the good fortune very early on to become exposed to the writings of Sepharial and Alan Leo or Rudhyar and a few others, even as I was wrestling with Jyotish, I would have fallen prey to that Urban Myth as well and remained a little frog, stuck in my well!

I am sorry if I am offending anyone's belief or sentiments, or not playing along, but I am just being honest and that matters to me at this time and my age.

Good to hear and see some younger people taking an interest in astrology and with fresher brains and hearts and fresher pairs of eyes looking at this ancient craft and tradition.

There are many forums (fora) and I would encourage one who is sincerely and seriously interested to participate in as many as possible, if nothing else, for sampling what is available. Naturally, one would have to be selective and critical about sifting through the silicon-reality (sandy, computery, and sifting through the mounds of sand!) and collect as many nuggets of gold as sometimes lie hidden in those. ;-)

Even while setting aside some time regularly for reading books because many of those are not merely rephrasing the same old, same old but have a research and experience-based sharing. I myself spend time in reading a lot besides internet participation and old and new books still alert me to things that once read and studied tend to get faded even though not entirely erased! <LOL>
