Long ago someone said they saw two yods in my chart, quincux and the like and I would like to understand where can I find those, or what those mean in my chart?

On the chart you've posted, the quincunx (inconjunct) aspects are represented with green dashed lines.

You have 1) Yod with Pluto at the apex and Mercury and Venus sextile to one another and 2) another one with Venus at the apex and Pluto sextile to Neptune (and also the conjunct Uranus).

I started a thread you might want to read: https://www.astrologyweekly.com/foru...d.php?t=121181
I was asking specifically about Yod patterns running in families, but R4VEN gave a lot of great information about how Yods work, in general.

Thank you for the quick reply and I'll definitely be checking that post! What most intrigued me in Yods back in the day was that it seemed related to fate, or a "god's hand" pointing for the ones that have a sort of mission they must fulfill, and that it was a kind of rare aspect, and I had two of them in my chart, so I got curious over them.

What would you say these aspects indicate in a person's life? I'm not sure on how to look especifically for these aspects on the internet xD

I don't know if anyone has ever done the math to see how rare they actually are in natal charts, but from anecdotes, they seem to occur about as often as patterns like grand crosses. Having two like your chart is even more rare.

The person who has one often feels a sense of purpose that is hidden from them but that they can't stop worrying about. Feel familiar? I've seen it described as having a puzzle in your chart that you have to work out in this lifetime.

You can google "yod" and find quite a bit. There are also articles on the aspects making up your yods, for example "Venus inconjunct Pluto". The best resource I know of is "The Yod Book" by Karen Hamaker-Zondag. I have to admit, though, that even after reading that book and everything I can find on the internet, I still have a hard time explaining on even a basic level how to interpret what my own yod means in my life. I don't know how much you know about astrology so skip this advice if you already have done this. If I were you, I'd learn how the major aspects in your chart work first and then come back to this.

Like that cop-out? :innocent:

In my experience they're not all that rare. For some insight, my brother and my ex-husband have one, and they both live very purposeful lives. One is a police lieutenant and the other is a leader in his religious community. There's 3 yods in the composite chart with my current relationship partner, and the feeling I have is that we have something extremely important to do together.

Re: Finding Yod/Quincux in my chart

YOD's are really complex configurations.....

First, you must look at the sextile, and then at the two inconjuncts.

Then you look at the at the YOD apex.

Yods can only exist when the apex planet is the slowest moving of the three, otherwise its just two inconjuncts(according to Al H. Morrison, with whom I agree)

The show where and how that which hinders in the chart can be made to bring into clearer focus---much like where we are currently looking at Psyche and Nemesis.

Since they don't reach full fruition until after the age of 35 at least, eventually it can show it what way a fated change might take place that can completely reprogram his entire life. In this way, it shows how the major modification of one's life can take place. It may be activated by circumstances(as shown by a transit or a progression) which was the Watergate affair in Richard Nixon’s life or the individual may choose to move in this direction himself in order to focus on changing his life to more align himself to his Mission in life.

The house of the apex is where the change starts but often the opposite house to the apex is where the end point of the modification will take place: this is called the called the REACTION POINT. This is in opposition to the apex point. The reaction point where the individual’s new orientation will center---either for better or worse

Slower moving transits or progressions over this point can show timing of this orientation change.

A planet on the reaction point(or to a lesser degree an asteroid) can provide an imbalance keeping the starting point in the YOD from getting off the ground.

Reaction planet is the conditioning planet for dealing with the inner struggles presented by the YOD transformation
One looks to see if there is an asteroid, or an Arabian part on that spot. Even a Witte sensitive point or sabian/charubel symbol can give an indication.
