Why am I being perceived as trustworthy and/or charming by other people?

A curiosity of mine.

I couldn't really relate to the physical descriptions of my Scorpio Ascendant or the supposed view of others , outside of me constantly shaping and transforming myself. It maybe due to my Sun trine it, but I don't feel like it provides a complete explanation. Maybe it's my Descendant, and it's ruler, Venus, conjunct Neptune. Or even Libra in 11th? Maybe it's just a work of synastry...

Astrology aside, most people feel comfortable around me, mentioning I am so kind and giving me their trust( even those I feel might have a heavy Scorpio/Capricorn influences, and Plutonian/Saturnian respectively) during our first encounters, ending up telling me their own secrets much faster than they do to others, and almost always becoming a catalyst for those I an having a deeper connection with, and most of them disappear in a short timeframe. (While I still remain the same, kind of.) Funnily enough, I realized how Sun-Pluto this sounds right now when I am editing this post. :ROFLMAO:

What do you think?

You Sun in Pisces trines right through your ascendant. I personally find Pisces Sun extremely approachable. And your nurturing, caring Moon in Cancer applies to trine the asc, first gathering the energies of Merc in Pisces and carrying them on to the Sun. I would say that you come off as a quite sensitive and caring person with the ability to understand well what others are feelings. The flow of the water element in your chart is a lovely thing to my eye. This may not be how you feel; this is how others see you.
My husband's Sun sign is Pisces and people grow close to him very quickly. Certainly quicker than he would like. Women and men almost always like him a lot.
I do. :)

Thank you so much for your reply, IleneK. I do tend to sense what others feel, but not all the time. I even had a person telling me I am kind without me even spitting a word, or them seeing me, and you might be correct in your assessment, I think.

Oh, that's really sweet, but it must also tire your husband a lot.

You are very welcome, Forgotten Warrior.
Yes, you are perceived as such without even saying a word or them seeing you....

Yes. After all of these years, he really doesn't know what to do with all the appreciation and affection coming his way. He doesn't feel connected to it, kind of like a movie star with all these fans that think they know you and love you, but you don't know or connect with them at all in the same way.
It is not appealing to him at all.

Which I find it truly incredible and amazing.

That's right, and perhaps he wishes for less people to approach him in that manner, so only a select few will remain to create bonds with him.

I think it could also be your Cancer Moon trining your Mercury in Pisces. I have seen that same aspect in two therapists I did charts for.

One was a children’s art therapist and the other a marriage counsellor. They both really had to rely upon gaining the trust of others to do their work successfully.

Moon in the 8th in Cancer represents an ability to silently, non-invasively interject oneself into another’s most privately held secrets. The trine to Mercury/Pisces says you will not be an enemy but will be compassionate and understanding with their trust.

Not to get too far OT, but that Pisces reference is interesting. My husband has Venus in Pisces with a Grand Trine with Mars/Scorpio and Moon/Cancer. People have a similar reaction to him as they do to your husband. Everyone loves and trusts him. Implicitly, even when barely knowing him.

Perhaps. I like talking about my emotions, and others to talk about theirs, but I also understand why some people are hard shelled about them.

Interesting, I always find myself in a position to be a therapists for friends, family, and strangers alike, and while I love it, it's also draining, and I feel I easily lose my sense of self( not in a toxic way, it's simply because I focus on getting a grasp of those people when they are talking about their struggles, so it's hard returning to my own identity and my own to-do list).

Yes, both were dealing with people whose trust you must obtain. Children don't really trust anyone deeply outside of their close family/friends, and not everyone likes to talk about their marriages to a third party.

I like the interpretation of my Moon in this context, instead of it being afflicted in the 8th house as a domicile moon. Yes, Mercury and Pisces combined would mean understanding and comfort through kind and well-meaning words.

Oh, that's great! Perhaps that exalted Venus, alongside the watery Grand Trine, really gives off other people the vibe of being in-tune with emotions, particularly for Pisces, who encompasses emotions beyond rational human understanding.

Yes, I get it about the 8th house Moon descriptions. Mine is in the 8th----in Capricorn and conjunct Mars and Chiron. If I dare read interpretations about it I am described as a rude, cruel hypochondriac who should avoid being a mother at all costs.

Luckily my grown kids are alive and well, love me and allow me to watch my grand babies. :innocent:

I can believe you would be pulled into being the therapist as you are compassionate and very perceptive. But the Pisces component is very prone to emotional exhaustion and picking up too much of the client's toxicity too easily. A lot of Pisces healers end up weakened by their work if they don't take countermeasures.

Our 8th house Moons make us natural healers in some ways but also open us to emotional exhaustion if we don't put up some clear boundaries as protection.

YES. His Moon, Venus and Mars are all exalted and in a tight Grand Trine. He is a very accomplished writer, musician and artist. He can play several instruments and plays by ear---just has an innate understanding of music. If he hears a song he can sit at the piano and quickly play it. But he is even more established as a writer and can make people react emotionally to his words. That Water Grand trine is beyond my rational understanding at times.

Mine is opposing Mars, and would've opposed Chiron if I were born some hours later. It's a shame detrimental placements are not being seen as an out-of-the-norm manifestation of that said planet.

It's great to be a grandparent. :)

I want to take countermeasures, but I can't/don't want to take them all the time, as it might hurt the other person, and I can get back on track in a short time.

How is the 8th house Moon healing different from the 12th house/Pisces Moon one? I bestow a profuse admiration for 12th house/Pisces moons.

It's beautiful he is so talented in so many arts, and I believe it's a blessing yet a curse to have a Water Grand trine, I'd like to say he is able to express experiences connected to all 3 water signs.

That's a good question about 8th vs 12th house moons in healing. I am retired now from having an active practice, but I did take some time to try and protect myself somewhat when doing long days of readings/healings. I'd sage the space between each client, and I'd have a bowl of a water feature on my desk and would dump out the water a few times throughout. And before each reading I'd do a quick meditation with them and see white light surrounding us.

I am not sure what a 12th house healer would have done to set up those protections.

Off the top of my head, sun in the 4th would put people at ease. Possibly a good looking, yet wholesome look. Neptune could help you filter that through, on intention, because of course everybody likes that. You charming little trickster, you lol
Just my opinion. I’m not saying it’s not honest. A part of you, not the whole…You can never tell with Pisces, then slippery little fishes always a bit out of reach. Charmingly maddening lol, as I affectionately call them. Pisces suns usually will go out of their way for another, even when not asked. Great for temperamental natures. Just my take. Good day

They would probably use no protection… just observe. They spooky ♥️☠️

I believe that is a really interesting method, both physically and metaphorically speaking.

Perhaps a 12th house healer would take breaks often and redirect their emotions/thoughts in something recreational.

Hahaha, you caught me in the middle of my act! :)

Pisces, as a sign, is beautiful, and I had a chance to meet people so enchanting and more Piscean than I could ever be.

Do you say that because they are a calming presence?
