Who is a Russian asset?

Well, the US has said it won't stop until it wins. Putin has cancer, I don't know if he'll die before then or no. It won't matter to them, the point is to drag out the war as long as possible.

I'm kind of expecting another Afghanistan, except worse.

So now, American politicians are to blame!

NONE of this is Putin's fault?

Here you go, Blackbery.

You know the hard right Rep. (R of North Carolina, Madison Cawthorne?

The local Raleigh, NC TV station, WRAL, March 10-11, has on video Cawthorne calling Zelenskyy a "thug." Further, he argued,

"Remember that the Ukrainian government is incredibly corrupt and is incredibly evil, and has been pushing woke ideologies."

This was 2 weeks after Russia's invasion on Feb. 24, incidentally.

[Hard to imagine what would be a "woke ideology" in Ukraine, but no matter.]

Cawthorne did walk back these comments the next day, tweeting that "Vladimir Putin's actions are 'disgusting.'" (Sorry about this, Blackbery-- no doubt Cawthorne's comment is too harsh for you.) He offered that he was praying for Ukraine and its people. It's unclear whether this translated into actual congressional support.

Oddity, you see, here's a big difference between us. I read the report of Putin's cancer in an Indian news outlet, but did some more sleuthing and couldn't verify it. The wesern sources picking up the story just said it was "reported," i. e., not fact-checked. One other source said he had cancer but it wasn't serious. Nothing in the major western sources that at least try to verify their reporting.

It wasn't "the US", Oddity, but Nancy Pelosi on her recent tour to Ukraine.

But for what reason do you imagine that Vladimir Putin intends to quit any time soon? Since he's the aggressor, why do you imagine he's not the one "drag[ing] out the war as long as possible"?

How fascinating that you blame the US but not Russia. You're starting to sound like an old leftist.

In what possibly way could a lengthy Ukrainian war-- with massive US financial commitments-- possibly be in American interests?

Well, the US has said it won't stop until it wins. Putin has cancer, I don't know if he'll die before then or no. It won't matter to them, the point is to drag out the war as long as possible.

Putin broke international law. He invaded a sovereign nation that didn't attack Russia first. The U.S. and other NATO countries are BACKING the victim. "Winning" in this case is Putin giving up his illegal war and pulling his troops back to Russia. If it's true "thousands" of Russians are being killed, he's free to evacuate them and welcome them home to Mother Russia.

Why would we want to drag this war out? What would be the motivation for that?

You & WB have called him a madman, sadistic, paranoid, homicidal, etc etc etc yet you also believe
he has the logic to not start a nuclear war. Duh, major contradictions going on there with your 'logic'.:andy::pouty::surprised:

Your 'theory' makes no sense. Either he's a madman or he's a strategic statesman who understands all too well the
implications of nuclear conflict.

That's why Putin has NEVER dropped a nuke on any country, EVER.
He would only do so if another country dropped a nuke on Russia & he had to defend Mother Russia.

Unlike America, which has dropped 2 nukes on innocent civilians & now is lusting to drop a nuke on Moscow.
Watch the movie 'Dr. Strangelove', give you both an idea of the nefarious forces in the 'dark' military

The swamp is wide & deep & both parties are equal opportunist war-hawks, ready to kill millions at a drop of a hat without giving it a though. As long as the swamp creatures get their usual million dollar kickbacks from the corporate-military industrial complex/NWO & to scratch that war itch they have.

Raise that Ukraine flag.

If the U.S. commits to sending troops to Ukraine in the event of a chemical attack, guess what?

There will miraculously be a chemical attack, at just the right time to support Western intervention.

We already saw this play out in Syria. Don't fall for it again.

⚡️ US congressman calls on troops' deployment in Ukraine if Putin uses chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons.

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger introduced a resolution on May 1 to authorize U.S. President Joe Biden to send troops to Ukraine in such cases.

Neville Chamberlain would agree with him!

Do you REALLY think Putin is crazy enough and homicidal enough to start a nuclear war? Even I don't have THAT low of a view of him.

No it's the other way around.:whistling::whistling::whistling:

NATO broke EVERY treaty they made with Russia to not expand eastward, never to allow Ukraine to become part of NATO & to never allow nuclear/chemical weapons in Ukraine. (you know that Ukraine is on the large border with Russia, right?""

Putin has been trying to negotiate with NATO for 7 years & they refused to honour their agreements. And then last year, the O'Biden Regime signed an agreement to ALLOW Ukraine into NATO.

Talk about bad faith negotiations, broken promises & deliberate poking 'the Russian bear' by the US.

Enough is enough.

PUtin HAD to act now. Goals almost met. They would have been done a lot sooner except Putin doesn't kill civilians the way US does by carpet bombing the entire country & leaving it in ruins like they did in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc etc.

Putin has set up humanitarian corridors all along the way for Ukranian people to leave. But Putin won't allow the Ukranian nazis to leave, hundreds of 'regular' Ukranian military have surrended to Russia & are being treated well under the Geneva Convention.

Unlike the Azov Batallion who torture & then brutally kill Russian POWs.
They post it on-line they are so proud of their cruelty.

Russia stook up to the bulliy NATO/US & they don't like that one bit.
They are used to bombing, destroying, killing to get their geo-political goals accomplished & they couldn't care about the millions they have killed in the process.

They refuse to talk peace coz they want to keep the conflict going, they want a war with Russia. They want to destroy Putin coz he ain't playing their sick, political game.

But Russia is winning, both in Ukraine & in the world. Their oil/gas exports have increased dramatically & their financial future is rosy & excellent.

Meanwhile, the US economy tanks, terrorists are flooding into the country with the 3 million illegals, Xiden attempting to shut down free speech again now that Twitter has been taken away from them & print more money to give to the corrupt Ukraine regime.

NATO broke promises, ignored Russia’s concerns

For Russia, the issue of security on its western borders has always been very painful. It was from there that Napoleon came to capture and burn down Moscow. And Hitler, who almost did it again. That is why, after the end of WWII, the Soviet leadership took care to create a security belt in Eastern Europe from the allied states.

In 1991, the Cold War ended, the Warsaw Pact was disbanded, and the USSR collapsed. Russia renounced communism and begun to build democracy and a market economy. It counted on the reformatting of NATO, from a bloc that was created against the Soviet threat into the basis of a European security system.

But this did not happen. Moreover, NATO began to expand to the east, contrary to the verbal promises made to the last president of the USSR, Mikhail Gorb...

Putin haters need to understand HISTORY. Understand the context of why Russia needs to protect her borders.

Russia will NEVER allow their beautiful country to become (former) Yugoslavia which NATO bombed out of existence.

I raise my Russian flag & I stand with Putin.
As does India, Brazil, Serbia, Belarus, South Africa & numerous other Asian/African countries.

They know all too well how US-led NATO go around bombing countries out of existence & killing millions to get the oil, gold, gas, & to 'spread democracy'.

They met in Poland, not Ukraine (it's a dangerous war zone remember) to
pick up their suitcases of cash which the US taxpayers sent to Ukraine (20 BILLION in the past 2 months, 33 BILLION to follow).

Zelensky will be buying more million dollar mansions in the US, giving the Ukraine oligarchs their millions & more Swamp creatures will be flying to Poland to pick up more pallets of cash.

Rumours, Blackbery, exactly. Rumours.

Reputable news sources look for verification. If it's unavailable, they will usually say that a particular news byte is "alleged" or "reported," and not present it as proven fact.

Like your bizarre rumours about Zelenskyy. How have your sources fact-checked them?

Interestingly, the allegations I picked up a while back were that Putin had thyroid cancer. You see the problem?

I am puzzled, however, if you think it's wrong to say negative things about Vladimir Putin, why you don't maintain that sense of decorum for your fellow American citizens.

waybread

Staff member
Blackbery, exactly where did I say each of those things about Vladimir Putin? Please cite my exact posts.

Nonetheless, one mistake that you make is assuming that someone with an obvious mental health problem is simultaneously incapable of making rational decisions of military strategy. Arguably the brutal warmongers of history like Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Napoleon Bonaparte had major mental health issues (like megalomania) but that didn't stop their military strategy.

Your calling Putin a statesman is shocking. Statesmanship is not about shelling Mariupol-- formerly a center of native Russian-speakers-- into oblivion. That is a failure of statesmanship.

Did you ever even watch Dr. Strangelove? That movie was a pure work of fiction and gallows humour, from the height of the Cold War in 1964.

You & WB have called him a madman, sadistic, paranoid, homicidal, etc etc etc yet you also believe
he has the logic to not start a nuclear war. Duh, major contradictions going on there with your 'logic'.:andy::pouty::surprised:

Hunter Biden Took Trip to Moscow to Meet with Russian Oligarch Who’s Sanctioned by the UK government

Hunter Biden had business dealings with a Russian oligarch while his father was Vice President. This newly released information from Hunter’s laptop showed this relationship.
Hunter Biden flew to Moscow for a meeting with a now-sanctioned Russian oligarch records show.

Vladimir Yevtushenkov, 73, owns a firm that reportedly supplied Putin’s forces with drones and owned key Russian defense contractor RTI.

Yevtushenkov was added to the UK and Australian sanctions list this month but is one of a handful of oligarchs unsanctioned by the Biden administration.

Hunter travelled to Moscow for a meeting with the oligarch close to Putin. This wasn’t the first time Hunter mingled with foreigners while raising money for the ‘Big Guy’ while Biden was Obama’s VP. The entire family and Obama Administration were involved in numerous activities around the world raising money. The largest amount to date was gained with China.

Federal authorities subpoenaed Hunter Biden’s paternity documents and tax records – both personal and business.

“They wanted every record relating to Hunter Biden we had,” Lunden Roberts’ lawyer Clint Lancaster told CBS News.

The federal investigation of Hunter Biden centers on the “flow of money” from the Biden family’s overseas business deals[/I

Snopes is where you do your 'sleuthing?'.

OK.

It is run by a husband and wife team – that’s right, no big office of investigators and researchers, no team of lawyers. It’s just a mom-and-pop operation that began as a hobby.

David and Barbara Mikkelson in the San Fernando Valley of California started the website about 13 years ago – and they have no formal background or experience in investigative research. After a few years it gained popularity believing it to be unbiased and neutral when in fact they have been proven wrong over and over again.

The Co-Founder Of Snopes Wrote Dozens Of Plagiarized Articles For The Fact-Checking Site

“You can always take an existing article and rewrite it just enough to avoid copyright infringement."

David Mikkelson, the co-founder of the fact-checking website Snopes, has long presented himself as the arbiter of truth online, a bulwark in the fight against rumors and fake news. But he has been lying to the site's tens of millions of readers: A BuzzFeed News investigation has found that Mikkelson wrote and published dozens of articles containing material plagiarized from news outlets such as the Guardian and the LA Times

JUST MORE FAKE NEWS.

So does that apply to Bush/Clinton/Obama/Xiden who invaded 10 countries, killed 10 million people, displaced billions & bombed the countries to the stone age.

None of those countries invaded the US. Are they war criminals or just 'spreading democracy'?

No, actually according to Rabbi Berel Lazar, he's a front runner for jewish messiah. There are also several hints come from Alexander Dugin for what is the aim of perestroika and glasnost, it was aimed to create a new image of Soviet Union to Eurasian Super State a.k.a Eurasianism. So, yes, Putin's most likely be your messiah, ds.
