If he is Saturn.. I don't see too many aspects applying to Saturn except for Mercury which is separating from him.. What does this mean?
Also if I am the Moon.. Mercury and Venus are both applying to me.. Any ideas on what this represents?
I apologize I'm still learning horary astrology.. I guess I need more practice on how to assign siginificators.. If anyone have any good suggestions or links on where I can learn more about siginificators please let me know..
Lots of good tutorials out there that can walk you through the steps of assigning signifactors and interpreting some of the results of the horary chart. I do notice right off that you appear to have used the wrong kind of chart - just treat the chart drawing as a natal with placidus or koch houses and you'll get something easier to work with.
With horary, I'm be no means even proficient yet (at least in my book) but can give a few pointers with my meager knowledge of the subject so far:
ASC = the querent (person asking question, in this case you) - that's the first place to start .. shows what the person is going through at the time the question is framed. In this case, the ASC is cancer, so the moon represents the "you" - look for dignities, debilities, aspects, etc for the background and potential .. a severely debilitated querent significator may mean the querent isn't in a good position to get a good outcome, while a querent significator that's dignified often shows the querent will get what they want as an answer
Moon = co-querent (represents the querent and the activity preceding, during and after the question is asked) .. look into things like void-of-course moons, transfer of light, etc .. the moon should always be treated as very important in interpretation. In this case, your querent is the moon, so kind of doesn't apply here, but might want to treat the moon as even more important in this reading (?? like I said, fairly new to this myself)
Quesited (question) is generally the house cusp of the matter at hand. In questions of career, would generally be the cusp of the 10th/MC...in questions of money/finances, would generally be the cusp of the 2nd. I say generally because there are cases where you might want to look at an arabic lot as the quesited to provide a more precise answer, but that's a different direction.
In this case, I might actually want to go with the cusp of the 5th house as the quesited (affair), but would probably post here and ask for advice about that first
Once you figure out what house the question belongs to, you take the lord of that house as the significator of the quesited...same sort of process in looking for dignities and debilities, etc .. you can turn the chart based on this for more details and whatnot .. lots of fun stuff when you get to that part - but essentially you're looking for (generally) positive signs for a yes, negative for a no (which might be WAY over-simplifying it, especially for something like this question). One of the key indications is to look for connections via aspects, reception, etc, from the querent/co-querent to the quesited
Hope that helps a little
