There is a very simple disproof of the Gemini rising chart that any competent astrologer can apply. Simply look at where the energy of the chart is and N.Node to see what direction the energy settles in and moves towards geographically. In the Gemini Asc chart, the Cancer Sun, planets are focused in a ENE direction (2nd house). The Nodal axis (pre-history of nation and future) is positioned with N.Node in NE position. In the Sag Asc charts, they are focused in the opposite directions WSW/West. Now where did the population move to? It spread in a Westward and Southwestward direction, with (southern) California becoming the most populated region, after the goldrush of the 1800s. There was nowhere Eastward for a population to go, since they'd already come from the NE coasts, therefore a Gemini rising chart is a fiction of wishful thinking. The USA could not be a better example of Sagittarius rising. Not only that but the correct chart [21SAG04] has Pluto parallel the Asc. This is the chart of an empire. There are at least 14 different charts for the USA displayed on astrodatabank, all of them wrong. The only ones that start in the right place generally are the Sag charts. Sagittarius: Extroverted, outgoing, freedom-loving, free-speaking (see the revolutionary 1st Amendment). Believing, optimistic, open and embracing (see Lady Liberty in NY Harbor with poem, "The New Colossus" -- the living picture of Sagittarius rising. If you are going to attempt to verify any USA chart, you'd better adjust for precession and check the declinations for each event.
