US - a Uranian Country

The Sibley chart so many are using has the Pluto return on December 27th of next year, at 27 degrees 33 minutes Cap, Retro.

The Cornwallis chart has it four years later, on January 2nd, 2027, at 4 degrees 24 minutes Aqua, Direct.

Both charts have a Sagittarius Ascendant, which I believe is essential.

All,

Recently I was thinking about the US birth chart and it occurred to me it makes NO sense to create a chart for the signing Declaration of Independence.

Hello wilsontc and whoever else:
I have to agree that July 4 was not the date of actual independence. My 200-page Master's Thesis highlights the original independence resolution of May 15, 1776, which "totally suppressed" royal authority and instructed the newborn states to write their constitutions, which most of them promptly did, citing or quoting this May 15 independence resolution as their authority for doing so. The May 15 resolution (Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m.) cited "reason and good conscience" -- the paired authorities for translating natural-law principles into judicial decisions -- as its authority for breaking the ties to the King of England. This independence resolution also contains a definition of "happiness," instantly overthrowing the dominant scholarly view about the meaning of the Declaration of Independence.

It would appear that this U.S. horoscope (Philadelphia, May 15, 1776, 5:00 p.m.) works like clockwork, with repeated tight correlations with both historical and current events. I've shared a lot about this both at the astro.com forum and at OPA.

"In God We Trust" was part of the Cold War against the "Godless Commies".

And 1940s b&w PSAs in public schools, movie theaters and later in the new medium of TV promoted the unity of all Americans it appears to prevent Americans from turning to fascism or racist ideologies associated with the Nazis. The melting pot propaganda is accepting all races, ethnic groups, nationalities, creeds, churches and religions. Examples given are the Pennsylvania Dutch (Pennsdeutsch) including small religious sects of Mennonites and the Amish are of colonial Low German(ic), Swedish and Netherlands Dutch origin; then the Cajuns in southern Louisiana of French or Canadian descent from Acadia which itself has Nova Scotia named for Scots/Gaelic speakers in Canada; and Texans have a portion of Cajuns and large black or African american communities in its east esp near Arkansas, the ethnic German high country or Edwards plateau in the central heart, the Spanish speaking majorities in the west facing New Mexico though the lower half of the state starting between the state capitol Austin above and towards San Antonio below the line is a majority Tejano a.k.a Hispanic, Latin (o), Chicano, Mexican, Norteno, spanish including Nuevomexicanos and Islenos in Louisiana and La Raza or Brown between being mostly legally white and also having (BI)POC ancestries, concentrations of Asians and Arabs in the Rio Grande valley and gulf coast in the south, and finally, the small Comanche, Choctaw and Cherokee Indian communities in the north facing the Red river (of the south) or both (in the) Texas and Oklahoma panhandles.

Today is Jan 13, and you have avant garde historians declared this day in 1995 which is 27 years ago to be the start of the 2000s decade, 21st century, 3rd millennia, 3rd Common Era or Anno Domini (Year of our Lord in the Christian, western and solar calendar), and the true year 2001 or 6 years off in their analysis of the world had really changed in 1995 (not jan 1st?) Unless astrological studies were used to confirm and vindicate their claim or statements about 1995.

Fascism in my book is what was practised in Italy, Spain and several East European countries (including Poland, enemy of Germany) in the 30s. Charateristics are nationalism, self-sufficiency and anti-communism. Characteristics of Nazism (Pluto) are domination and extermination (although it began as fascism). To me it's significant that Franco did not join Hitler in WW2, despite being invited and having been helped to power by him. The US has some fascist elements, but it's not a dominant trait (at least so far).

As for Aquarius, I consider Saturn sole ruler of that sign. The ancients could not see Uranus, so they replaced it with the Sun (the Sun rules Leo the sign of dictatorship and exalts in Aries the sign of nationalism/isolationism).

Franco was aided by Hitler and his Nazi troops to take power in Spain in their 5 year civil war 1931-36 and deposed the pro-US/France/UK/Soviet backed the Spanish Republic which was socialist, Liberalist and Democratic, and the devastation the civil war in Spain made Franco declare his regime to go neutral, later after WW2, he made alliances with the anti-USSR western nations against communism he hated all the way to his death in 1975.

US's Pluto Return

All,

If you use the Cornwallis chart as the US birth chart an interesting thing happens: March 16, 2021 is the start of the US Pluto Return (using an 8 degree orb). As astrologers know, the Pluto return is a time of death, transformation, and rebirth. While people will never experience a Pluto return because of the length of time it takes to reach, nations CAN experience a Pluto return. So using the Cornwallis chart, the time of "death and resurrection" of the US is the START of the Biden Administration in the US. This seems to match up well with the very high level of changes to the basic operating of the US Biden made upon coming into office which have led to the attempted destruction of the oil industry, massive inflation as government spending goes completely out of control, and the breakdown of the basic moral structure.

Turning and Returning,

Tim

It is probably right not to value 4th July 1776, as electional astrology was used at Egyptian day marker and parans being sunrise with Alnilam, Belt of Orion being the Heliacal rising star:-

Cold Fusion,

If nothing else, this indicates how THOROUGHLY government and religion were tied to together in the 50s. By the end of the 60s this deep belief in religion was undermined in the US and, to preserve their dwindling numbers of believers, US churches started turning away from the spiritual and towards the secular.

While this isn't a large enough of an event to show up as a major transit and so be useful for testing the Cornwallis chart against others, in the Cornwallis chart there are significant transits to and from the planets of religion (Jupiter) and spirituality (Neptune), suggesting a strong interest in religion at the time.

Following up,

Tim

I think that those that align Sirius and Alnilam feel it is heaven, where souls go to, or is where god lives. They align events to get good fortune in their actions, whether this works or not is highly controversial!
Probably the best way to explain this is the action of President Eisenhower who approved the Motto of "In God We Trust" for the United States on 30th July 1956 in Washington DC.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_God_We_Trust

Quote
"Federal government

On July 30, 1956, the 84th Congress passed a joint resolution "declaring 'IN GOD WE TRUST' the national motto of the United States."[70] The resolution passed both the House and the Senate unanimously and without debate.[71][72][e] It replaced E pluribus unum, which had existed before as a de facto official motto.[6] The United States Code at 36 U.S.C. § 302, now states: "'In God we trust' is the national motto." The resolution was reaffirmed in 2006, on the 50th anniversary of its adoption, by the Senate,[73] and in 2011 by the House of Representatives, in a 396 to 9 vote.[74][75] In 2000, the House additionally encouraged to publicly display the motto.[76][77]"

The House of Representatives features the motto above the rostrum of the Speaker, which was carved in the wall in December 1962.[78]
The heliacal rising of Sirius is very auspicious, it is thought that the ancient Egyptian calendar started on this day, so perhaps we all follow Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, but didn't know it!
