Uranus on 12th house cusp

Hello there I would like to learn more about the significance of Uranus on the 12th house cusp. Although I have no Aquarius in my chart I do have 3 planets in the 11th house, Moon conjunct Mercury and Uranus. My Uranus is fairly strongly placed, in the house of its rulership and unaspected.Would like to know more about the meaning of having Uranus in the 11th house also.
Could anyone give me any insights into my 11th house placements? I have a lot of water and earth in my chart,no air. Would having the moon in the 11th house give a more impersonal and somewhat detached vibe? What would be a general interpretation of a Moon/Mercury conjunction in the 11th?Mercury is my chart and NN ruler--
Would anyone like to take a quick look my chart and give me a general impression of its overall 'tone'---I am pretty new to astrology--Thanks!!

Uranus is not strongly placed in 12th and being conj the 12th house cusp is considered to be effective in 12th not 11th. Anything within 5' of house cusp going anticlockwise moves house.

Moon and Mercury conj is 'out of sign' and Apex for T Square. Thing is with T Square it only needs a transit progression or solar arc to set it off and it temporarily becomes a grand square causing all sorts of tensions and problems.

So anything 4'-6' fixed and in particular aquarius will do this. Mercury square mars is too forceful in speech and argumentative. Moon square mars = bossy mother. Moon square Neptune emotional disillusioment and mercury square neptune, you could forget what you said to people and misconstrue what people say 'deception or be deceived' aspect.

As you know, different astrologers will have different ways of looking at the chart. Personally I see Uranus as being in your 11th AND 12th house, so Uranus is in the house of its natural rulership, as you say. One way to get an "impression" of a chart is to look at planet placements in the chart. In your chart you have more planets in the top (outer world) left (self) part of the chart, so you want to do things yourself in the outer world.

Selfly,

Hello there

Your Uranus has aspects. Just look at the left hand side grid. There is a sextile to the MC and a trine to Jupiter. It is the placement par excellent for astrological science for instance and new age technologies. Humanitarian interests and group involvements that relate to a common cause. Do you have a love of aviation for instance??? Radio and television can play a large part in your life. Your MC ruler is Mercury conjunct Moon in Leo in the 11th so involvement with children in the third world for instance is a possibility. Your north node in the 12th is indicative of the path you will follow and in Virgo it relates to everyday needs perhaps of those less privileged. Sun conjunct Venus in Cancer in the 10th points to children, domestic issues and family concerns. You may be involved with the food industry and organic products and herbs. Jupiter in the 4th and ruled by Sagittarius is double strength and is strongly aspected, both challenging and flowing. So journalism and media and perhap global contacts including travel with or involved with family matters.

Become a celebrity chef with wide media coverage using alternative and organic produce.......

Involvement with humanitarian issues and everyday needs of those less privileged with media coverage involved.

I dont know if any of this strikes a chord.

I agree Uranus is in the 11th and it is effective there. On the cusp of the 12th it may also have some influence in that house as well. I dont know where some people get their ideas.....

“Ascendant at 15’ Libra and Jupiter 13’ Libra. That would place Jupiter in the 12th house, right? But many thoughtful astrologers would read this as Jupiter being conjunction with Ascendant, and end up reading it as bringing its action to bear in the first house, rather than in the 12th.
This same idea would apply for each and every house cusp. If the planet is IN THE SAME SIGN as the sign on the next house cusp, and close enough to be CONJUNCT WITH that next house cusp, the action of the planet will be directed into oncoming house”

Ptolemy says the influence of the house begins to be felt 5° before the actual cusp.
http://www.astrologycom.com/houses.html

“Astrologers have seen a body influencing the house it is about to enter, time and time again. All theorizing aside, the planet casting its shadow ahead works. I can speak from personal experience, as well as reading ancient texts. If you discover this as true, then the next question may be, "Just how close must a body be to a cusp before it begins to be felt in the neighboring house?"
I've seen some authors say 3 degrees. I've seen some that give 5 degrees. I have seen some that even give 8 degrees. And there may be other variations.” http://astronuts.tribe.net/thread/90c9f417-5086-4ff0-b31f-c904fe99baca

“Quite a few traditional Astrologers, will count a planet within 5 degrees of the house cusp as being in that House. Planets near the Cusp are usually more important to the House than ones in the middle. A planet Conjunct the House cusp but technically in the preceding House, could be seen as having power over the affairs of that House.”
