Russia is feigning the failure of Nord Stream 1.

A big part of the US provoking this Ukraine conflict was to kill Nord Stream 2
so it would reduce Russian influence in the EU.

Russia wants to force the EU to beg for the restart of Nord Stream 2.
This would be a massive two finger gesture to the US
proving that the EU is heavily dependent on them, whether the US likes it or not

that spent last 20 years preparing defensive economic measures against sanctions.

Seems that Russia is "...running down the clock..." on

The Nord Stream 1 contracts expire in 2024.
There was some talk about this during the construction of Nord Stream 2.
Ukraine started to worry that they would loose transit fees and the chance to steal Russian gas in 2024.

Russia has not reneged on it's contracts, and it's over once the contracts are due for renewal.
Fulfilling contracts, even with States are are "...bad customers..." is important to Russia.

don't blame the Russians. What if some kind of remotely triggered device or software
had been installed in that turbine that could cause it to blow up when the EU or its master decide?
Remember where that turbine came from and where it was serviced/repaired!

is an action initiated by Zelensky
since this is the first time in more than eight years that these weapons have been used
(where were these weapons all this time

is that these weapons were deployed by the US/NATO/EU/CIA directly
and totally independently of Zelensky
as an initial move in throwing Zelensky under the bus

sufficient to trigger Amnesty International alarm signaling
is the type of action needed to move the swing of public opinion against Zelensky
after lavishing adulation and building him up on a pedestal for so long.

This is consistent with the recent Vogue photo shoot
which quite sure was planned by invitation and arrangement of Washington

CNN yesterday went to investigate reports that
"...Russians were preventing residents of Kherson fleeing to safety in Nikolaiev..."
- when they got to the crossing point
they found hundreds vehicles filled Nikolaev Residents packed into cars
filled with family and possessions travelling into Russian Controlled Territory.
The reporter was very confused by this situation

to foreign entities, in exchange for a loan. One can imagine what followed.
