Trauma in my chart

I suffered birth trauma which damaged my nervous system and caused me to have scoliosis. When my mother was pregnant with me, she had gestational diabetes. I was due December 25, but after I hadn't been born for a few days, the doctors decided to induce labor because they were concerned that the diabetes she had was causing me to grow too big.

My mom was in labor with me for 12 hours and if you know anything about induced labor contractions, they are alot harder on the baby than normal contractions. The doctors also had to pull me out. For my whole life, I suffered the effects of birth trauma, but until recently, could never piece it together .

You have Moon conjunct Uranus in your chart. Your experience with your mother (Moon) was unpredictable (Uranus). It wasn't her fault, but it effected you until now.

Also, a lot of Capricorns have hard early lives. Being a Sun in Capricorn is a part of it.

I'm in my 30s. Will the Capricorn curse get easier?

It usually does, but includes hard work. Hard work like therapy, reading self help books, giving yourself time to heal, finding out the reasons why (or enough of the reasons why) you are still traumatized by your birth, etc, etc.
Usually, around your age things start to loosen up a lot.

I gave birth to my daughter with induced labor too, as my own contractions were not strong enough. My first born was born completely with my own contractions and you are right that the experience was nothing to compare! The induced labour was many times more painful than the normal one for me, as a mother, but I suspect also for the baby, as my daughter cried hysterically for a long time after she was born! My poor thing! I did my best to make them stop giving me so much medicine, but to no avail!

Astrologically, my daughter's chart does have some similarities to yours. Chiron is elevated in both charts. My daughter's Chiron is in 10th, yours in 9th. You have got Moon conj. Uranus and my daughter Moon Opposite Uranus, very exact. This may describe how sudden-I would say almost violent-the birth was!
Of course, those placements mean a lot more both for my daughter and you.
In your case, it is interesting that your n Chiron is opposite n Saturn in 3d. I do not know if you had to face challenges in your learning process. Alternatively, maybe the environment you were raised was too strict/there was too much criticism/expected too much from you, or you had to work too hard with your studies and overcome inadequacy/inferiority issues/challenges in general.

I cannot see how you link the issue of scoliosis with your chart. I can see that Chiron is square your ASC, but did any doctor say that your mother's induced labor was to blame for your scoliosis? I cannot see a connection, but I am not a doctor either.

I have faced lots of challenges in school and my parents were very strict when it came to me doing well in school. They thought it was laziness and me just not trying hard enough. Years after I left school I got a diagnosis of ADD. I guess looking back, they realize they were too hard on me and I suspect that if they knew back then what they do today, things would be different.

As for my scoliosis, I have what's termed idiopathic scoliosis. However, I don't have anyone in my family that has scoliosis, so I know it's not genetics. My brother and sister were born normally and they both turned out normal. No learning or social problems or scoliosis. I very strongly suspect that while the doctors were attempting to pull me out, it misaligned my spine and as I started to grow, specifically when I hit my puberty growth spurt, it became more apparent. Also, it's very rare for males to have idopathic scoliosis, it's much more common in females. I strongly suspect that in my case, scoliosis is more of an injury than something genetic that I would have had anyway.

I am unsure as to why you want the astrology here? Do you want to use it to assist you to self-actualize yourself out of the issues? Or are you looking for an additional thing to blame. Yes, you have been given a hard life to row through. The extremely high friction and high energy Mars, as well and the same for the square of Mars with the Moon. No doubt about it. But you either work your way through it, or you just complain about. The second will give you nothing but continuous grief.
Well I want to know if anything else in my chart can point to a way to get better. It's no fun going through life with a functionally impaired brain

Your astrological key to success is your Sun-Neptune-Mercury conjunction in Capricorn in the 4th house :geek:

Are you looking for career/financial advice? (I gave you relationship advice already)

The Sun-Mercury conjunction suggests that you have a strong desire to communicate in some way (speaking or writing), and you may be very intelligent, especially in 4th-house and Capricorn (earth) areas, such as home, family, land, real estate, etc. This is fortunate for building wealth gradually over time, achieving success over a lifetime (not quickly). Adding Neptune to this makes you even more imaginative and intuitive, especially about making money and securing your place in society (Capricorn).

Are you involved in farming or anything involving land or plants? Or anything involving real estate or building homes? With your Capricorn practicality and intelligence, and Virgo attention to detail, you might also be an accountant.

Are you chronically unemployed due to disability?

Sadly the world is very harsh with men, even with men who have suffered. This leads to toughness for some men and disaster for others.
How do you see yourself? What are your realistic capabilities?

Capricorn men often spend many years building themselves, and start a family only later in life, when they are fully formed, tough, responsible, and reasonably successful.
