yeah of course that would be really cool! let me know what your question is, gonna come back on here later or tomorrow

I am wondering whether I would like to know about my career or my love life more.

I’ll go with my love life. Could you tell me via tarot a bit about the future of my love life, what I can expect?

And what is your question? I will do it tomorrow.

Found a new tarot channel I really like. She has good energy and is sincere, and she’s also a Vegan! So super good vibes from her. Her channel is called ‘White Feather Tarot.’

So I'm trying to figure out the theme card I have for this month from my last birthday spread. On my last birthday (August 15th) I drew a theme card for the year, a theme card for each month, which starts on the 15th of the month and runs through the 14th of the following month, plus three cards for "what to leave behind," "what to carry forward," and "what to bring in."

I've been journaling each month, and until now I've always spotted the theme of my card for the month. Once or twice it showed up in a way I would never have thought to expect, but I still saw it, and saw it early: the theme was always evident by the 15th. This month (January 15th to February 14th), my card is the five of wands. I'm not seeing it at all.

Everything I read about the five of wands, and what the card looks like to me, suggests a lot of competitive or conflicting energy, or (my interpretation) a sense of putting in a lot of effort and getting little or no result. But I'm not seeing any of that right now.

The only highlight so far for my five of wands month is, I went to a party a couple of nights ago and had a blast. There was a lot of friendly banter going on, and some entirely non-seriously competitive games. No real conflict, but I have seen a mention, both in this thread and a couple of other places, of play fighting or friendly competition being a possible meaning of the five of wands. Still, one party does not a month make.

What might I be missing?

Number 5's are relative to changes. So it could be as simple as you have the energy (fire) to make some changes this month. Without context from other cards, this could be in any area of life. This could be you wanting to make some change in an area of life or something that could happen externally.

Is this card as bad as it looks? What does it mean exactly anyway? We'll know for sure in November or perhaps by the end of the year if its a close call. The psychic said only that it may suggest something current feeling a "sense of loss" . She is well known in England:

Are you supposed to mix the cards first before drawing from them?

Interesting take.

And yet, the common theme to all tarot fives seems to be getting stuck, getting hung up on something.

There are some changes I want to make. I have more spare time this month than I did the last few months--really, in every month since my birthday. So, your interpretation may be on the money. (Spare energy, though, is another story. I think I really need to use this time to rest and refresh.)

Wands are the fire signs, passion, desire, expression of Ego.
The fire sign Leo is of course parties and having fun.
Energy.
The power of fire to burn down, preparing for new growth.
Conflict, being pushed towards competition, in a healthy way.

Five, "getting hung up" on finding the meaning of the Five of Wands!

5 of cups = Mars in Scorpio. This reminds me of the chart cast when he announced his run for the presidency. Very strong Scorpio stellium which I thought showed his desire for revenge. The man is having the time of his life, drawing crowds and support like never before. His enemies must be seething as they wish he was buried 6 feet under all the grief they are piling on him. Looks like sweet revenge to me.

I see why you would be confused because 5 of Wands is not a party card per se, but it can indicate friendly competitiveness. Well, I say friendly, just compared to the other fighting cards, like 5 of Swords for example.

It could mean things like, a lot of pots boiling at the same time, with no real evident results as of yet.

Maybe if has been a month for, working hard without seeing results yet? A month of things just continuing as they should, being busy and maybe slightly stressed, but no real danger done, it’s isn’t you can’t see results every month.
Have you been busy but managing well?

I’ve also seen the 5 of Wands interpreted as having to fight for a position, like with a love rival, which is a less positive interpretation. But out of all the competitive cards, it’s the one least likely to cause harm, I’ve found.

Oh, I’ve never heard of her.

Yes, you are meant to shuffle them first! She maybe did so beforehand, to save time, but I do like to see the cards being shuffled in real-time for authenticity sakes.

I agree with her interpretation of the 5 of Cups. The person is looking at the spilt 3 of cups, and ignoring he still has 2 Cups behind him.

3 of Cups on its own can represent ‘reunion,’ so he is maybe saddened at the lack of reunion, and failing to see the support he has behind him, 2 of Cups is the card of partnerships.

5 of Cups is a negative card, but it’s more to do with, the situation not being as bleak as the person is viewing it.

It is not the 10 of swords, which is a definite ending, or 5 of Swords, which is loss after a fight. So there is still promise, but the person has the perception that all is bleak, more so than what it is.

This makes sense, and it does sound like Donald Trump!

Have you been busy but managing well?

As of mid January, I'm suddenly not busy at all. So not busy that I feel like the shipwrecked sailor who never gets anything done because he can't decide what to do first.

I'll probably be busier again in a month or so. Most of the things that have kept me busy are on hiatus or slow season right now.

But I probably did have some residual stress from when I was busier, because until I went to that party I was stuck in my head, mentally fretting about all sorts of small inconsequential details. That's one way I react to stress. Since the party, I've been clear of that. Having a lot of fun reset me. And now I'm finding fun in small moments, and thinking of what else I could do that would be fun. My fun channel is unblocked!

Since I'm right in the middle of a period of Uranus squaring my Leo sun from my fifth house, I've been thinking I should not take things too seriously and find fun.

It could mean things like, a lot of pots boiling at the same time, with no real evident results as of yet.

One blog I just read said the five of wands can indicate many ideas competing for your attention. I do have that going on. See the sailor reference. Lots of ideas of what I should do with my downtime, but I can't decide what to do first.

I've also had several instances in the last few days of reaching out to someone to suggest something or ask for something and getting, "I'll get back to you in a few weeks," as a response.

I'm also seriously in need of a recharge. My "what to bring in and embrace" card for the year was the four of swords. To my mind, the message is clear: rest. Take time out.

I took the first real vacation I've had in years last fall. But in general, I do feel the need for rest, and not taking things too seriously. It's not just this month.

With regards to the 5 of cups pulled for Trump's re-election, I'd read it as where he suffers defeat at the hands of his competition and feels misled and disheartened, having put his heart and soul into this re-election. The only good thing about the loss of the 5 of cups is that the loss can be a blessing in disguise.

Although this card could also represent the previous election he lost. So the two standing cups are the support he has still received regardless of this.

That, and his current legal troubles. I'd say the card definitely does represent where he is right now. It doesn't say anything either way about the outcome of this year's election. The question wasn't about the outcome of the election, it was about his overview for the year.

No matter how that turns out, Trump will be feeling five of cups-ish.

Oh, I thought it was for the outcome. Well in that respect I think he still has a chance with the two standing cups. As they can show that regardless of the outcome of the previous election (three spilled cups) he still has something he can build from with support from people who want to help him in the next elections.

All you are describing does like the 5 of Wands energy. Contacting people, lots of ideas competing, in need of a break, but not overly so, or able to right now.

That poem is funny! All the items going on in his head lol. And by A A Milne! 🐻 🍯

You seem like someone who would be good at self-care already, but I hope you do find time for more holidays and rest. Sometimes it’s not possible, and an extended period of stress is just life, but do remember to take heed before it reaches a crisis. I imagine an Uranus square could be chaotic!

Okay, so as Trump has had a card pulled for him for the elections, I thought I'd pull one for Biden.
And I got the Devil Rx (I read Rx cards too they are very important, and also this card flipped out whilst shuffling which is imperative).
Little tip: When finished shuffling always look at the base card of the pile of cards, as this will be what the reading is 'based' on. And in this reading, it is the 5 of swords upright.

5 swords: This reading is based on lots of tension, manipulation, and cunning tactics that are used to get what they want.
Devil Rx: With this card I believe Biden feels somewhat guilty for the way he's abused his power to control, intimidate, and use people. He's getting old now maybe he wants a simple life. Or maybe he gets humbled in some way from abusing his power.
But nether the less the Devil Rx wants freedom from a toxic entrapment. And if they don't deal with this themself it will happen to them externally.

I imagine an Uranus square could be chaotic!

This is the second hard angle Uranus-Sun transit I've had as an adult and the third in my life. Most of the truly chaotic times in my life have fallen well outside of those windows. I don't think it has any particular correlation with chaos for me.

This time around, I was well aware of what Uranus to Sun could mean and made some very conscious choices around working with that energy. It's bearing fruit.

All you are describing does like the 5 of Wands energy. Contacting people, lots of ideas competing, in need of a break, but not overly so, or able to right now.

And last month's card was the two of wands. I thought I knew what that meant, but now I'm taking a deeper dive into wands to get clearer on that. Since the five doesn't mean what I thought it would at first glance, there's a good chance the two doesn't either.

I also have the six of wands coming up in three months, after Death and The World, in that order. Interesting combination.
