That was interesting.

Going by their reasoning, I imagine smartphones will degrade our minds further. An example: How many phone numbers can people recall nowadays? Since our smartphones store that for us, we often don't see a need to use memory. Yet, memory is a skill or power one should develop. Crazy.

But the comment at the end,

AI is not necessarily evil by itself. It's just a tool. This tool could be used for betterment of human life, but in different kind of society, in society based on cooperation instead of competition. In competition based world, like ours, AI is just another weapon like everything else.

"Relatively small number of companies", "UBI", "stakeholder capitalism (which is just another term for neo-feudalism)" are just the ultimate outcomes of competition based society. Eventually, "exterminism (agenda to exterminate us all)" is the next logical step after establishing neo-feudalism, because in comparison to feudalism of the past, new feudal masters don't need peasants, they have AI and they will be able to automate everything eventually. In competition based world, there have been victors and losers since the dawn of time. Only this time victors will exterminate the losers, because they don't need them anymore.
