With whole-signs, if the Asc. is just slightly inside Sag., Sagittarius becomes the 1st house, instead of being split between 11th and 12th.  So, you would have a 1st house Moon instead of an 11th.  If your Asc. is slightly into Capricorn, you'll have the Moon in the 12th. Try looking into the difference between a Moon in the 1st compared to its being in the 11th. And as J.A. says, checking out your own chart will provide you with valuable experience.
