I'm normally Type 9, based on observing my own behavior. But, when it comes to understanding the Ages of our Planet, Earth, I become Type 1. I'm thinking that the Enneagram relates to the Chart as a whole, rather than being purely determined by Numerology. It should be a nine-pointed star [IMO]. But, I doubt if I would have argued with Gurdjieff about it! It became widely known and discussed during a brief period in the 1970s.

Thanks for bringing up the Enneagram, CapAquaPis. You have a fascinating way of thinking, different from mine, but somehow resonating with it. Noticed that right away.

I'm using a "tuning fork" model for determining Earth's Ages. The two prongs are 30 degrees apart, and are based on the length of a Sign. These describe the resonance of the Terrestrial vibrations that create the Age-effect. The end result is an Age Trident, because the center point becomes an indicator as well. Those amazing Ancient Greeks, most representative of the Tropical Age of Sagittarius (where the the leading prong of the tuning fork is here described as "The" Age-Indicator) provided the perfect descriptions of the Age Trident: Gaia's Trident, & the Trident of Earthly Authority. Hades, or Pluto, their god most "in tune" with the Earth, being actually inside it, actually held the tuning fork as his scepter. But the leading prong Age Indicator marks Zeus as "the" Age-ruler, and Zeus held it as the Trident of Lightning, signifying his power over the sky. The go-between was Poseidon, who held the fisherman's trident, which has become the symbol for the Planet Neptune. Those were the three Greek gods chosen by Gaia to channel her Earthly Authority during that Tropical Age (median setting c.1350 B.C.E. to 400 A.D.).

The resonance of Earth's vibratory frequency can be described Astrologically by placing the "tuning fork" on a measured point that Transits the Zodiac due to Earth's "wobble" as it rotates (the way a spinning top wobbles as it slows down). The Terrestrial point for setting the fork is the First Point of Spring, in the Sidereal Chart. This is at one end of the line of intersection of the Earth-Sun "Ecliptic", which is the plane of Earth's orbit tracked by the movement of Sun as viewed from Earth, and Earth's Equatorial plane. So, in the Sidereal situation, where the Signs are held motionless relative to the stars, the fork is placed using Earth's axial tilt. The "wobble" causes what's known as "Precession of the Equinox", meaning the Vernal Equinoctial Point, marked by the Sun's position at the beginning of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, moves retrograde through the 12 equal, Sidereal-signs. When the fork aligns with, converges with, a Sidereal-sign, the leading time of the fork enters the next Sign in the Chart, and "a new Age" begins.

Since the Tropical Zodiac is held fixed relative to the Vernal Equinox, the Sidereal Age-fork locator, that won't work for the Tropical situation. Therefore, the Tropical Age-fork locator has to be a different Terrestrial point that does Transit the Tropical Zodiac due to Earth's wobble. Since the Earth's orbit is an elliptical shape, we can use the center-line of the ellipse, called "the Line of Apsides", to center the fork. This emphasizes the center point of the fork, making it an Age Trident. The center-point's actual ("true") position is located Tropically each year, at Earth's Perihelion, when Earth is closest to the Sun. The Transit of the Age Trident is Direct, so its next, upcoming convergence with the Tropical-sign Capricorn, means it's about to enter Tropical Aquarius.

I'm not sure the USA, the EU and Japan will economically collapse, but they have lower birth rates, high median ages and near zero annual economic growth. Japan's economic miracle from the 1960s to 90s made them surpass the Soviet Union before its disbanding in 1991 as the world's #2 economic power, now China in the 2010s while Japan takes a fall. South Africa while it had the oppressive Apartheid policy and Venezuela before Hugo Chavez used to be continental economic leaders in the 1990s. The Aquarian age is when the world's largest economies face competition with those of the developing world's and the "draining" of the water-pot of wealth from the rich world to the poor is Aquarius in its worst.

You bring up a good point. How ARE we going to transition from a problem-based, confrontational, Saturnian-ruled, Capricornian Age means of wealth acquisition and distribution to a solution-based, individualistically-interdependent, Uranian-ruled, Aquarian Age, sustainable economy? I think it's going to develop organically, by general consensus, as the Age changes us from within. What seems impossible now will become the wave of the future. It won't be top-down planning or utopian idealism that will make the changeover possible, it will be a natural response to the change in Earth's vibratory frequency.

The Age "tuning fork" has 3 indicating positions: The leading point is about Earth's effect on us individually. The trailing point is about meaningful traditions. The center point reconciles between the two, and is about our social viewpoint. For the Age of Tropical Sagittarius (median dates c. 1350 B.C.E. to 400 A.D.) with the leading point entering Sagittarius, and the trailing point entering Scorpio, the reconciling Sign was Pisces. So, the 3 rulers of these Signs were identified as those with the greatest "Earthly-authority". First and foremost was Zeus (Jupiter) ruling the Sky. Then Poseidon (Neptune) ruling the Seas. Third, Hades (Pluto) ruling within the Earth itself. When the Age of Capricorn began (median date 400 A.D.), with the leading tine of the tuning fork entering Capricorn and the trailing one entering Sagittarius, the reconciling Sign at the center-point became Aries for the rest of the Age. A very unfortunate matchup between individualism under Capricorn and social view under Aries, setting up a Saturn/Mars Axis which is still the dominant Earthly-authority. Tradition became Jupiter-ruled. So, the First and Second Worlds (corresponding to the the first and center points of the tuning fork) are respectively individualistic and socialistic, and under the Signs of Capricorn and Aries, while the Third World is Traditionalistic, still under the Sign of Sagittarius.

The Tropical Aquarian Age, which will directly affect our mundane affairs, will shift the reconsiler from Mars to Venus, since the tuning fork of Earth's vibratory pattern will match Foreground, individualistic, first point Aquarius with Background, Traditionalistic, trailing point Capricorn, bring in Taurus as the reconciling Sign. A MUCH more peaceful social order will ensue. Also, a social order far more respectful of the Earth as our environment.

Each Tropical Age has a catalytic Sign and ruler also, keeping it changing in Direct order. For the Age of Sagittarius, Aries was the catalytic Sign, Mars the catalytic ruler--a very fiery Age. Taurus and Venus for the Age of Capricorn are the catalysts, adding to the Materialistic mindset, making ownership of land and property extremely important, along with a steady drive toward the empowerment of women. So, the Element of the Age-sign is emphasized by the catalytic Sign. It's Gemini for the Age of Aquarius, ruled by Mercury. The tremendous increase in our abilities to communicate, travel, and engage in commerce is a clear indication of the approaching new Age. Here on the Cusp, there's a lot going on at once!

The first proposed human head transplant will be performed in Italy (or is it San Marino?) next year, an Aquarian age trait of weirdness (a person's head, brain and soul changes physical bodies) and medical scientific advancement. This is going to change the concept of what it is to be human, moreso than the first successful heart transplant in South Africa back in 1961 and the first IVF (test tube) babies in the late 1970s. Italy has the Vatican (city) - the Roman Catholic church known to theologically oppose these medical breakthroughs in the past.

For those whose only tool is a scalpel, the only solution is surgery.:pinched:
In this extremely materialistic Age of Tropical Capricorn, the ONLY solutions to problems appear to be materialistic. The synchronization of the Sidereal and the Tropical Ages of Aquarius will enable us to come up with FAR better, non-materialistic, solutions.

Scientists carry out full head transplant on rats in preparation
for first human head transplant
The procedure was carried out by a team including Sergio Canavero
the controversial Italian neurosurgeon
and his collaborator, Xiaoping Ren from the Harbin Medical University in China
who have between them previously
carried out a series of experiments involving head transplants.
They claimed to have severed 90% of a dog’s spinal cord
before re-attaching it.
In another, a head transplant was reportedly carried out on a monkey
and a third experiment saw the spinal cords of mice being cut
and then reattached in such a way
that the animals were able to recover their ability to move.

The pair also claim
to have experimented with human head transplants

using dead bodies :smile:

"Frankenstein; Or, The Modern Prometheus", the book by Mary Shelley, published in 1818, has proven to be extremely prescient! But what was once considered "monstrous" by cultural standards, is now considered "progress".

Jesus Christ is probably an Aquarian, yet thought to be a Capricorn (Dec 25th is his most theorized bday). Astrologers 2000 years ago declared him a cusp Aquarius (Dec 26-Jan 25) in the age of Aries. And going by the age of Aquarius today, sidereal places him as a Sagittarius. His mother the Virgin Mary is thought to been born on Dec 12 (a Capricorn, then moved to Sagittarius and now a Scorpio), and his adoptive father Joseph born on Mar 19 (a Pisces both in tropical and sidereal, but said to been Aries). Joseph born 20-19 BC? Mary born on 16-15BC? and finally, Jesus 1BC-1AD? You have the signs Sagittarius and Pisces ruled by Jupiter in the latter third of the zodiac - the developed, Capricorn and Aquarius ruled by Saturn in the latter quarter of the zodiac - the winter, and Aries and Scorpio are ruled by Mars - Aries the father figure sign and Scorpio the maternal birth sign. Capricorn-Aquarius is stuck right in the middle.
