Hi all,
Last week I spoke with an astrologer and for my big surprise she said that I was extremely sensual with a high sexual drive! It seemed quite striking in my chart. I thought about it trying to find some astrological aspect that relates me to physical but the only one that I found as my Asc in Virgo.
I would like to ask you if you can see more aspects in my chart that can add to this big sensuality of mine which seems to be dormant.

For sensuality at least I might think that Libra on the 2nd house gives a sensual taste, but even more so because Venus is so highly elevated... so I would assume this is a side people see alot of. Do you think this means you can give the impression of being more sensual than you think you are? I would ask people around you, maybe they think you are. And also the moon is there, in Libra and in the 2nd house which is quite sensual. And moon and Venus trine.

Personally, because of the lack of earth, I would be inclined to think all this energy would manifest more in an aesthetic rather than sensual way.

And as for sex drive... what Kai said, plus Mars ruling 8th house. But once again Mars is in an air sign. And if anything a 5th house ruler being Saturn and in the 12th I would think hides the sex drive, with the square to Mars being an additional nail in the coffin.

i think your chart exhibits a sense of being very aware of and emotionally satisfied by the aesthetics of beauty and harmony, and you gain self worth from incorporating those aesthetics into your life, but after a quick scan of your chart, it doesnt scream out sensuality in the sense that i think you are inferring. whatever beauty is to you is something that you value, feel very strongly about and is also something that you express to the world in a public way. there is also the opposition to neptune in the 3rd which hints at the opportunity to bring whatever wonder, mystery and transcendence you find immediately around you into your public position in the world.

i think perhaps the astrologer used the wrong word to describe the fact that she saw your venus at the highest point in the chart, ruling over 2nd which is home to the moon. moon-pluto is intense emotion, all centred around what you find valuable (libran principles of beauty, justice, harmony, appropriateness...)

in terms of high sex drive, i'm not really seeing it...

I don't really see sensuality in this chart. Virgo is an earth sign but Virgo is not enough. Plus Virgo has to reach sensuality over a period of timing and age. This is due partly because Virgo constantly anlyzes every approach in search of the perfect way to please, and be pleased.

Sun in Cancer can be sweet yet shy. Pluto in the first causes for a very deep person who is probably hard to get to know. Moon in libra can be quite a bit of a flirt giving off the impression of someone who is very sensual but with both mars and venus being in Gemini, I would gather that you pride yourself on getting to know people through communication and if you are interested in being with a person, I could see that they would have to intrigue you mentally, before you even develop any serious interest in them.

The ruler of your first is in the 11th house conjunct jupiter, so you probably have a lot of friends for whom you enjoy good intellectual conversations with and you probably develop more serious relationships with people who are friends first. I see more of a mental person, not a sensual person at all. As far as your desire for sex, you probably are nit picky about who you will sleep with. Having a virgo rising with pluto in the first, You can probably tell right away when someone is not worth your trying to get into bed with and you don't put much energy into thinking about it any further.

Hm, I don't know about 'sensual', but Moon conjunct Pluto could make for a powerful sexual drive. Moon trines Venus, too, which can make for a very healthy, harmonious sensuality.

Thanks for all your responses. I had people saying that I'm very sensual but actually I never believed in that because I don't feel it. My friends say often that I am. I might not realize it because of the Mars sq Saturn(12H), it may be hidden. She (astrologer) pointed that this aspect attracts men that are abusive and mean and that I can attest that it's true. I suppose my Pluto aspects add to this sensuality. Pluto is conj Moon in the 2nd H, and sq Sun in 10th H. Maybe is that makes me somewhat attractive. As well my Venus is very high in the chart and makes me appear good looking. Quite often people say that I have an excelent presentation, even though I don't try very hard to be feminine.(Venus in Gemini).
I don't have much of Earth in me. Do you think that maybe this sensuality comes with some kind of mystery that surrounds me? Maybe Saturn sq Neptune?
Regarding to high sexual drive maybe it will come with older age and becoming more confortable with the physical aspect of my being.

I don't see what your astrologer saw. :) Virgo AC, which I have, would not lead me to that conclusion.

I think Venus so close to the MC, by itself, is a rather emotional position. The Mars/Saturn square stands out to me. I think of that as a rather nervous aspect, sort of start, stop, lots of energy one moment, very little the next, with Mars already in Gemini (very changeable) and linked to a very self-critical 12th house Saturn (I have that). Are you really hard on yourself?

Moon in Cancer, very sensitive position, square to Pluto, Pluto conjunct Moon, Moon in Libra can be quite moody (I have that too), more high energy, more emotion, turbulent.

If anything I would think you might be very sensitive, over-sensitive, and terribly vulnerable to criticism or even so-called "help", if said help is not really helpful. I really think you may get more positive advice/pointers from this forum than from the astrologer you mentioned.

There is a trace of Venus/Neptune, very wide orb (opposition), but in a rather sensitive part of the chart, which is where I might see sensuality, but more in the dreamy, fantasy type way than in anything strongly sexual. So I'd take the sexual part with a HUGE grain of salt unless it resonates with what you feel and perhaps opens up something in you that you like.

I do think that the Moon/Pluto conjunction indicates passion, but not of the nature the astrologist mentioned. :)

I suppose that this aspect, even though very subtle, can add some sensuality or charm to my chart.
But there is something that I cannot understand very well, and I'm sorry to ask you all about that: in wich way the Mars Saturn square afects attractiviness? The astrologer pointed it out as a factor in attracting the opposite sex but actually I couldn't understand it. In my view it would be related merely with the Father Figure...

Sensual = mysterious, so, it is the Neptune Moon sextile and the trine between Neptune and Jupiter who makes this stronger...
Also, I agree with another member from above - Pluto that aspects Moon and also makes sextile to Neptune. Mostly water signs are mysterious and also sensual and they also express themselfs in (at least for the rest of us) - mysterious way

Maybe the Astrologer had a different meaning for the word Sensual than we are all assuming. Sensuality has to do with the 5 senses. It is generally found in the second house. In this chart the Pluto is applying to the 2nd house cusp and there is a conjunction with the second house Moon. The Moon is in a very comfortable place in the second house. The Libra Cusp of the 2nd, and the Moon placement suggests valuing of surrounding taken in by the senses. Perfume (smell), good foods (taste) music (hearing) beautiful surroundings (sight) and a tactile appreciation, such as velvet or silk (touch). In this sense, yes this would be a very sensual person. As for the drive... not sure what they saw. I would guess it is a Gemini Mars, and not for anything I have read, just know lots of steamy Gemini Mars people. So it is clearly a guess on my part.

Do you work with asteroids at all? I've found them very helpful when fleshing out a chart. Here's what I found in your chart using some of the most sexual/sensual asteroids.

Pan conjuncts Mars
Eros squares Mars
Eros conjunct Vertex
Venus square Sappho
Lust square Uranus
Lust trine Neptune
Sappho conjunct IC

***You also have fixed star Regulus conjunct your Black Moon Lilith***

All of these asteroids confer a deep vibe of sexuality that others pick up on that you may not even be aware of. I have BML/Eros/Pan conjunct Sun/Jupiter opp my ASC. My husband tells me I have a "sex" look on my face all the time, even when I'm not thinking about anything particularly sexual. :D

Dear Shaye, I have downloaded two (amateour) astrology programs and they DO find asteroids but I still don`t know how. Any help or even a new link to find mine asteroids and fixed stars in natal would be appresiated...Aslo, do those programs also tell me the aspects or they will just find the position?

Just sign up, they have an free extended chart section. On it is a link at the bottom of the page for thousands of asteroids. Click on the link and a separate window should open with a list of asteroids. All you do is plug in the asteroid numbers and it will add them to the chart you generate. Yes, it does show you the aspects between the asteroids and your planets. The best thing is to click on the additional tables PDF. You can easily read the aspects with that version. It's been a lifesaver. Here's a link to the page.

Dear Shaye, I now about this site it is just that I have to choose asteroids. I was thinking about a link that gives you automaticly asteroids that are relevant to your birth date - but thank you anyway.

I haven't found such a site or program yet. But here's a site that lists several hundred asteroids and gives an interpretation w/ examples. http://www.geocities.com/mahtezcatpoc/asteroid.html

Because of this site and some others I discovered that I have the asteroids Euterpe (Music) and Astanoff (Computers/Technology) conjunct my ASC. Just recently, after my Saturn Return I've wanted to change careers and get into music production using computer technology. I was wondering where this was coming from because it isn't obvious from my natal planets, but these asteroids helped answer that question.

I think it is up to you to decide which asteroids are relevant to you or the ones you are curious about and see where they fall in your chart. Although, I agree, it would be great to have a progam that automatically shows any asteroids that make important aspects in your natal chart.:)

Highly sexed definately belongs to your Pluto moon conjunction....:D
But it is also controlling, obsessive, manipulative, highly charged possibly restless wants communication (Libra) and balance. Moon also rules 11th house cusp of friendships, so will also affect these....
