J.A., it's unnecessary on the Traditional Astrology board to say "Sole Domicile Ruler" of any Sign, Aquarius included, because in ancient astrology, there's no such thing as dual Domicile rulership. There are Sign-rulers with 2 Domicile-signs, but no Domicile-signs with 2 Domiciled-rulers. Each and every Sign has only ONE Domicile-ruler.

This is correct-same too in Vedic astrology, which was very heavily influenced by Hellenistic astrology up through the 6th century AD.

Manilius is a 1st century author to whom I give great attention regarding several astrological matters; he adds the 4th house to the 12th as one of the 2 houses of joy for saturn, and gives Venus the 10th house instead of the 5th as its house of joy.
I myself follow the manilius house-of-joy allocations.

Yes, as an added influence to the overall condition of the given planet; sorrows of the planet occur if the planet posits the opposite house to its joy; remember that the old Hellenists used either whole sign or equal house systems in determining houses (Manilius used whole sign houses; firmicus maternus used equal house)

Does it mean the planet is actually more Benefic or at least less Malefic in the Houses in which it joys?
Also, how was that determined as to the House in which a planet joys?

Ascending Node completes retreating sidereal cycles with 18.61295 years.
Moon is moistening and moderately heating, benefic, feminine and nocturnal. Moon makes those born under her white, with fine figure, beautiful eyes, having excess of moist. Moon controls life, light, kingship, the household, high priesthood, affluence, gathering of the masses, foresight, the body, travel, fortune, appearance, outcomes, possessions, cohabitation, housekeeping, gains and expenditures, cities, assemblies, ships, the mother and the conception, the respiratory system, the upper gastrointestinal tract, the eyesight, especially the left eye, glass and reflection, silver, white colours and salty tastes. Saturn rules Aquarius, it is the sole domicile ruler in traditional astrology.
In traditional astrology, you do have other rulers of the sign -
the triplicity rulers, bound rulers and decan rulers.

Triplicity rulers of Aquarius are Saturn, Mercury and Jupiter.

Bound rulers depend upon the degree placement, you need the egyptian bounds table
to determine based on the degree.
Decan or Face rulers are based on three division of the sign.

The domicile ruler is the most important, +5 score.

Next comes the exaltation ruler, +4 score. Aquarius don't have exaltation ruler.
Next is triplicity rulers (+3).
I think the original post is concerned only with domicile ruler. So, yes Saturn is the sole domicile ruler.
