Same sign, no aspect venus-south node synastry

Does it mean anything if you have a double-whammy same sign venus-south node but the orbs are too wide to aspect?

I have a virgo venus, his south node is virgo.

His venus is sag, my south node is sag.

Does this mean the typical "soulmate/star-crossed lovers" wouldn't really apply?

there is got to be an aspect to have an impact. otherwise everyone that has his venus in sag is your ''soulmate''
