In a should I stay should I go question ,if the 7th ruler is in the Asc, for ex mars rising in taurus scorpio in 7th but in good aspect with venus,is that a good omen or a sign of return. It makes no sense to me the 7th ruler in the Asc

Travel is 9th house (distance/cultural - expansion) 3rd house is travel nearby for commerce, school, local transactions. Does a 7th house 'other' have a part in your question of moving. Returns to old places usually involve retrograde planets aspecting moon. Not sure of the nature of your question. What house is the moon in in this non-existent chart?
