Rising signs/eyebrows & eye shapes?

Well, idk you look like a bit of everything lol. I suppose right of the bat I would say Virgo or Pisces maybe even aries.
Virgo women are said to have a slightly pointed chin & a reposed face. Your face to me indeed looks like its free from any worries :joyful:. You also have a well formed mouth/lips associated with virgo. I don't know if you have any Virgo in your chart but I'm aware that you have Libra. Venus rules Libra & Virgo so maybe thats why you appear very virgo, you also have a clean, neat look to you. Your style is very much your own but its very particular.

I also would say Pisces because you have a little of a far out whimsical look to you . You could probably make a good Luna Lovegood lol meant in a good way of course. You look like you have a big heart & a sensitive nature.

Aries because you have a youthful look to you. I suppose that could be your Gemini showing. Aries are kids at heart but so are Leos. You look like you have the presence similar to that of aries & leo too. Your birthday is on the 28. In numberology 2+8=10 which in turn makes 1. That makes your birthday ruler the SUN. The Sun rules Leo so maybe thats why some people may see Leo when they look at you... just a thought.

thanks for that. no, i have no planets in virgo. i have pisces moon in the 6th house which could give it a sprinkle of virgo flavoring but i didn't think it could be strong enough to show. also, i thought virgo was ruled by mercury?

clean neat look LOLOLOLOL i roll out of bed and rush to work with my bedhead everyday. my hair only looks neat after i shower and let my hair air dry. it's naturally wavy and i just let it do whatever it wants.

as for leo look, well, it's probably because my libra rising is in the leo duad. the numerology method is an interesting one, i never thought to use that to apply to appearances. i don't act leo but maybe for a split second i look leo. the aries is an interesting guess because i have no planetary placements in aries. one person guessed that i'd be an aries rising and she was a scorpio sun. but if it helps, i come from a very aries city. when i came back to la, i quickly realized that if i ever want anything, i need to aggressively go for it which in turn means i must "act aries" or fiery. i'm quite a good actress, but i can only act aries for a short amount of time but once i get what i want, i quickly revert back to libra

my chart is like 70% air. i only have 1 fire planet which is sagittarius neptune and that's generational. if anything, i think my youthfulness is owed to having a lot of mercury (3 gemini planets). my mercury conjuncts venus (3 planets) too... so that's probably why i have that stress free look LOL. i didn't mention it, but my asc conjuncts both jupiter and saturn so i guess that gives me a seriously cheerful look

I still say leo rising would be my first guess for you on *appearance alone* (i.e. from pics), followed by libra. But if I were to meet you and interact with you personally the libra might be more evident. You do look have the mercurial youthfulness though for sure, so saturn on your AC hasn't rained on it.

You are a bit similar to my mum, I think. She is gemini sun, pisces moon, gemini merc and gemini venus, with mars in scorp conjunct her scorp rising. She has the intense scorp glare-face :pouty: but you can see gem in there too, with martian undertones.

I don't have really any pics on this computer that show my eyebrows except for this one I've found which I don't like much, but the eyebrows are there. I have no idea what sign my eyebrows look, I never notice eyebrows. As you will see from the pic I don't pluck them or anything but maybe I should start lol. I don't like them actually, they are too straight and have no archiness. W-cam quality makes my features look darker than they are too; my eyes are blue.

LOLOLOL @ saturn didn't rain on my youthfulness. it's true, people with saturn conj asc do tend to have a stressed out look to them, or at least they look more mature than their years. well if it helps any, i have libra saturn. i guess saturn felt so good being in libra that he eased up on looking like an old miser and decided to get a beauty treatment or facelift

wow. your mom does sound similar to me! your mom has scorpio rising and i have pluto in the 1st. i wonder if that gives off a similar effect as far as how we attract other people?

if you are unhappy with your straight eyebrows, i would suggest you visit a "brow bar" where they can shape your brows and give it an arch. i can say i'm fed up with shallowness until i turn blue but i love appearances. i use to be a makeup artist and did weddings. i've seen a lot of brides who exclaim they don't like this, they can't stand that. literally i had to work magic on each of those bridezillas to earn a bit of dosh. it is very easy... just let your brows grow for like a month and don't do a thing to them. then go to a good cosmetics counter that does eyebrows such as benefit and they can shape them for you for like $25 (i don't know how much it costs exactly but that's a good estimate). all you have to do is maintain the shape from then on!

Lol yes, saturn exalts there yes? My partner's is in its dignity and I think it adds positively to his appearance, but does have a maturing effect on him (which isn't bad for me).

My mum's personality seems to largely vacillate between that scorpionic intensity and geminian sense of humor/fun/mischief. She's 60 now but still runs around all day, everyday, doing a bunch of activities (yoga, horseriding, pilates, book club, women's association, meditation, etc) and can't bear to spend too much time at home. Variety is key for her. She's one of those people who is great in small doses, and who only really likes to see others in small doses too. If she spends too much time with anyone, they start to make her irascible. She is also divisive, which is the largely the scorp/martian side, though I've also read that gemini suns often need to meet their "dark twin" in others, too. People love her or hate her, scarcely anything in between.

Thank you, I will do this! I haven't plucked them in years so I fit the prerequisites

People love her or hate her, scarcely anything in between.

i never met your mom, but i really like her already LOL she sounds like the me!!!! actually, i get along with other gemini suns quite well...regardless of their other planets. my best friend is a gemini and for several years, we saw each other everyday and were inseparable. i don't think we really got on each others' nerves because we spent that much time together, but i think it was because our maturity levels back then were unequal. we've been through separation for quite a long time and came back together. she's really the only person i can say that i'll always be glad to see whether i'm mad at her or not. anyone else that i'm feeling slightly irked will be on my sh*t list and pretty much stay there (taurus mars...so stubborn). i don't use that list to go attacking anyone, it's just a precautionary thing so i know who to avoid if possible.

as for your mom either being the bee's knees or persona non grata, it's the same way with me. people either are fascinated with me and want to keep in touch with me or they'd like to see my head on a platter. i'm not someone who invokes lukewarm responses and i can definitely tell that your mom isn't either from what you've said about her!!

you're quite right about geminis meeting their shadows in others. gemini is the only air sign that's in good relation with the sun (libra fallen, aquarius opposition). so by that note, geminis are quite content with themselves. it's not to say we think the world of ourselves or anything, but we do accept our faults and roll with it. because of that "comfortable" position we have with our ego, we're not going to plunge into "darkness," unless we encounter others whom we actually view as "dark" and we mimic them in a sort of ummm... schismatic way to bring things out in the open. gemini is not a dark energy... it's often considered "neutral" but i would say it falls under the "light" energy because geminis do have the ability to bring out the truth but not because we wish to anger anyone, it's not out of malice. as a matter of fact, we don't really care about others' feelings to be exact- not because we're insensitive, it's because we think that no one is special or extraordinary. we just do it because it has to be done no matter how difficult it is for others to take. most would rather shoot the messenger than be angry at the source that caused the bad news. well, that's gemini's karma. we get blamed for saying and doing crazy things but we're not any more guilty of it than others. we're just happen to be out in the open and admit to it. i think that sort of openness is quite scary for most to accept because it's a direct affront to the status quo.

i really hate to admit it but it's really true about what others say about geminis having short attention spans. it's not that i get "bored" of others, it's just that my attention span isn't fixated on anything or anyone in particular by default! i understand that to be a gemini trait but i think a lot of other signs mistaken our sincere spaciness for being flaky. i like going around doing different things, seeing different people, talking to different people; nothing is really a big deal.

Mhmmm I love geminis (moon there conjunct my descendant) and I can't recall meeting one with whom I didn't gel, though of course my mum irritates the **** out of me at times (and I her). She and another gemini I know totally exhibit what you describe here with regard to the "calling out of BS" in others, as well as being candidly honest/open about everything they're about, including their foibles, and I haven't actually met one that displays the "negative potentiality in some for lying". But then maybe they're just so adept at it that I haven't caught on!

I think my mother can tap into the darkness a bit (scorp rising conjunct mars and her gemini stellium in the 8th), but the geminian ability to let go overrides it. She moves on, doesn't dwell.

Yes! Mum is totally this way and so am I tbh. I'm heavily mutable though (sun pisces, sag rising conj jup/uranus, gemini moon, pisces venus/mars). I can be all over the shop and like to relate to a variety of people in a variety of contexts but I don't think I'm flaky at all - at the end of the day I'm very loyal to that special someone and to my family, even when they all $*%! me the hell off.

wow, if your moon conj desc you must meet a lot geminis! lol you must have had an interesting and crazy childhood with your mom! i haven't met anyone who hasn't said that about their mom if she's a gemini. what is your dad's combo? i'm very curious.

i have pisces moon and i do like pisces people. i think often times, they get bullied and misunderstood. i don't mind the pisces dreaminess and i can understand the need to escape this harsh world. i think maybe that's why i get bullied- because pisces moon often gets victimized. as strange as it goes, when someone bullies me, a person who's jupiterian in nature comes to my rescue. maybe that's because i have 0 libra jupiter in the 1st (whole signs chart) so by virtue, my jupiter is really on the 1st-12th cusps. and because it's libra, it must be balanced: if i get bullied by someone, i get saved by another. if i bully someone, someone else comes along and bullies me. or so i think!

all geminis are capable of double speak. they may say something like calling things on the surface but they might actually be expressing something else in their heads that mimics what was just said. often times that's when a gemini gets confused if you ask them to recall something and they think of something else. it could be lying... i'm not saying that geminis aren't capable of that. but often times, it's accidental. it goes back to the sincere spaciness again

i often think that mutables are most capable of accidentally lying because we're so flexible and open. i'm "heavily" mutable too and all the mutable planets are in cadent houses so they're all "home."- 3 gemini in 9th, 1 sagittarius 3rd, 1 pisces 6th. if i had anything in virgo, i would have had a mutable grand cross...but thankfully, i don't :woot:

Yes! Always had a lot to do with geminis, and they run rampant on my mother's side of the family (which incidentally is afflicted with a lot of mental illness :sad:); life's never boring with a bunch of geminis though, even with one you're getting multiple personas.

Despite the fact that my mum and dad have a ton of synastrical oppositions, they have been married for almost 40 years and truly do balance one another out. My dad is sag sun, sag moon, sag rising, sag mercury, venus scorp, mars cappie. His mars is in the 1st conjunct jupiter, both of which trine saturn in the 10th and though retired now, his career was of extreme importance to him. He has an awesome mars and the cappie influence really does rein him in. While certainly sanguine and sagacious, he is also highly responsible and very loyal. I could go on and on though and it would get very annoying because I think very highly of my father. I love my mum too of course but I guess it's the father/daughter dynamic with him - he's just a really good bloke and everyone likes him.

That is really interesting concerning the jupiter savior! Insightful way of perceiving it indeed. I'm glad you do have someone who comes to your rescue to correct the balance  Do you think that pisces moon is more victimized than pisces sun? I'm not sure about this topic because I don't think I've ever really been victimized. Maybe a little bit when I was young and very shy/malleable, but I toughened up and it certainly never happened after then. I think my mum feels as though she's being attacked a lot, but she has mars on the ascendant and seems to need that sort of action in her life. And come to think of it, I did know another pisces moon who was always feeling very victimized. Hmm, interesting, and I mean it does make sense.

Yeah, I think mutables can often perceive so many sides, flow into so many different containers, and change their minds more readily. I have a fixed mercury, but it gets reception from a trine to my gemini moon, and I'm certainly not the most stable of people.

I am a libra rising right on the cusp with first decan and my moon is in Virgo with some harsh aspects, my ascendant is opposing Saturn in the 7th......and my sun is on the cusp of Gemini and cancer. My eye brows are naturally bushy but I plucked them to their minimum so a picture is useless. LOL and my eyes are almond shaped with a hazel green blue color; mostly hazel though. they are hooded, and small.I also have a lot of Gemini in my chart...

Sounds like my husband, who is a Gemini Sun! I have Gemini on my Midheaven, so I meet quite a lot of Gemini Sun people, and in general, get on very well with them. There's so much going on in their heads that they genuinely can't recall much from their short term memory. But ask them about something that happened in the past, and they can name dates, places, times, faces, etc with pinpoint accuracy.

sorry it took me a bit longer to respond. i've been a bit swamped lately.

LOL your parents are gemini and sag OMG that cracks me up. i read that in synastry, it's the oppositions that keep people together, not so much the trines (the well accepted aspect for longer lasting relationships) and forget about the conjuncts cuz that's just a ton of explosions waiting to happen! i think the reasoning about the oppositions being the force that keeps people together is because it's open disagreements which means there's the ability to openly work out problems and issues and that helps people move on together. i'm assuming that since both your parents are quite different people, they know how to work well together and allow space for the other to do their thing. besides, being married for 40 years, you would be like "yeah, whatever. i'll see you later" kind of attitude instead of being possessive and jealous. gemini-sagittarius axis is probably the least jealous and possessive, so i can understand why they've been together for so long. i'm also assuming that since both gemini and sagittarius are very fun oriented, it helps move their relationship along where possibly the fun times overshadows the bad times. both gemini and sagittarius are very forgiving people and we can overlook a lot of bs that a lot of other signs will hold onto. but that's just what i think. correct me if my assessment is off base.

oh, i think your father is really loyal bc of the cap mars. he must be quite handsome because sag rising men (unless there's other factors the lessen it) tend to be quite masculine and handsome. brad pitt is a sagi sun with sagi rising. angelina is a gemini. geez... they've built a family and have been together for a long time. they're bound to stay together for a longer time, despite everyone thinking they're going to explode and break up LOL

as to the question of whether i think it's pisces sun vs pisces moon that gets victimized more? i would say pisces moon gets "victimized" no matter what the sun is. i've met plenty of pisces sun and they have fire moons and they do the bullying LOL! i've seen aries sun with pisces get bullied and break down and cry! when does an aries ever admit defeat?! when they have pisces moon softening their emotional realm. pisces in the moon position is very open and forgiving of a lot of messed up things that most would NOT put up with. i grew up getting pushed around, blamed for many things i wasn't even guilty of, called all sorts of names, and for awhile i was very, very sad and just took it. that's where it goes wrong with pisces moon, we take in everything and feel like we're drowning because we have difficulty finding an outlet to get away from people's negative energies. look at kanye west, he's a gemini with pisces moon. his outlet is to appear to be a cocky b@astard and say a bunch of crazy sh*t but, i've met him when he was in chicago during his days before he really got huge and he was really cool and easy going person. the media portray him as being a cocky fool but how many hip hop artists out there are guilty of that?! he happens to be more famous and get more grief. pisces moon makes the person a bit of a martyr because as soon as the pisces moon stands up for themselves, people think we're being demanding LOL
such bs but oh well. i'm so use to it that it can't phase me anymore. however, i still laugh about this all the time because it is funny how things go!

i think the reasoning about the oppositions being the force that keeps people together is because it's open disagreements which means there's the ability to openly work out problems and issues and that helps people move on together. i'm assuming that since both your parents are quite different people, they know how to work well together and allow space for the other to do their thing. besides, being married for 40 years, you would be like "yeah, whatever. i'll see you later" kind of attitude instead of being possessive and jealous. gemini-sagittarius axis is probably the least jealous and possessive, so i can understand why they've been together for so long. i'm also assuming that since both gemini and sagittarius are very fun oriented, it helps move their relationship along where possibly the fun times overshadows the bad times. both gemini and sagittarius are very forgiving people and we can overlook a lot of bs that a lot of other signs will hold onto. but that's just what i think. correct me if my assessment is off base.

No you are spot on with everything, not a bit wrong in fact. Both of them like their independence and yet are simultaneously loyal where it counts, which I suppose is why it has been able to work so well for so long, despite personalities which are rather different in many other respects. My mother is probably more inclined to jealousy than my father but she has always been the dominant one and if she feels jealous she is paradoxically more likely to push people away rather than cling to them (something I seem to have inherited). My dad is just not a jealous type at all, which I think is a very sag thing... To give an example, a drunk male friend of theirs recently started sucking my mum's thumb at some party and my dad just thought it was hilarious and that he's a "great guy". Similarly, years ago some other male friend of theirs hit on my mum in private and said something to the effect of "I think it's okay for couples to have a bit on the side. What people don't know can't hurt them"... When my dad heard about this he just sort of shrugged and said "ah, he's a funny one". Either this is intense denial on his part or he just feels very assured that my mum wouldn't do such a thing - maybe a bit of both.

oh, i think your father is really loyal bc of the cap mars. he must be quite handsome because sag rising men (unless there's other factors the lessen it) tend to be quite masculine and handsome. brad pitt is a sagi sun with sagi rising. angelina is a gemini. geez... they've built a family and have been together for a long time. they're bound to stay together for a longer time, despite everyone thinking they're going to explode and break up LOL

Yeah I think dad's loyalty is from the cappie mars, and maybe that scorp venus too (which is conjunct my mum's mars and rising). Funny you mention Brad Pitt - my dad's sun and rising are conjunct Brad's (my ascendant is also *exactly* conjunct Brad's asc), and my dad has often commented on what a ruggedly handsome man Brad is  My dad was pretty good looking when he was young, yeah, though apparently largely unaware of it.

as to the question of whether i think it's pisces sun vs pisces moon that gets victimized more? i would say pisces moon gets "victimized" no matter what the sun is. i've met plenty of pisces sun and they have fire moons and they do the bullying LOL! i've seen aries sun with pisces get bullied and break down and cry! when does an aries ever admit defeat?! when they have pisces moon softening their emotional realm. pisces in the moon position is very open and forgiving of a lot of messed up things that most would NOT put up with. i grew up getting pushed around, blamed for many things i wasn't even guilty of, called all sorts of names, and for awhile i was very, very sad and just took it. that's where it goes wrong with pisces moon, we take in everything and feel like we're drowning because we have difficulty finding an outlet to get away from people's negative energies

Yeah I agree with this. I mean my mother the gemini with pisces moon has a lot of toughness thanks to that scorp rising with mars on the AC, but in many ways I find her way more sentimental and even tender at times than I am myself. I have always been "overly" sensitive, but I never tended to attract hostility from others (in an open sense) that was akin to victimization. My mother meanwhile always copped it in spades (the polarizing effect from scorpio combined with the pisces moon penchant for attracting trouble). You also reminded me that my first serious relationship was with an aries who had a pisces moon and I found him to be a total pushover. I was very immature at the time and wasn't as good to him as I should have been, but I was one of many whom he felt gave him a "raw deal". His demeanor truly invited it... And trust me I know not all pisces moons behave pathetically  but **** he did. His was conjunct venus and trine his mars in cancer. I actually used to blame everything on that mars...
