Refuse to be the victim of the planets

I am very sensitive to planetary influences probably more so than others (just the way I was born). For example, when t Mars squared my natal Mars (I did not know it at the time), I was very angry for no reason, and I also get incredibly irritated by certain eclipses.

But I do not want to be a victim of the planets!! As far as I am concerned, I could care less if Mars wants to sit on my Pluto or whatever, I just want to live my normal life, be calm, and make logical and good decisions without receiving pressure from the transiting planets, especially the ones that trigger my anger or confusion.

I refuse to let the planets create my reality. I want to create my own reality. How do I take charge and not be a victim? Should I meditate 3 times a day? Eat a light diet? What should I do?? Thanks.

learn to control it. i have anger issues too, and the only things that helped it was time (life experience), insight (astrology, counseling) and self will/strength.
I have mars and saturn and uranus conjunct in my third house. all in sag.
i can throw a mean temper tantrum, but the lesson for me is too learn more effective ways of communicating my needs. i have libra rising so that can be tough. i tend to swing to the aries/mars extreme and lash out with anger when i feel like im not getting what i want/need. lesson for me again is control (mars conjunct saturn) and maturity (which takes time).

so

look at your chart, your mars etc and then try and figure out the "why" behind your anger. become aware of it when you are angry and learn to handle it.

peace, love and that other thing

Thanks. I have Mars conjunct Descendant. I have a strong Saturn and Uranus (not sure if that's good or bad), and a fire Moon that's afflicted (bad).

So a 7th house Mars - I think I view the planets as enemies (I do). I need to figure out a way to not view them as enemies...

think of the planets as energies opperating inside of you. not as external forces controlling your life.
Our pyches as individuals and as societies mirror the movements of the planets. in this idea the planets control us.
But, it could also be said that the movements of the planets mirror what happens in our lives.
i think its a chicken egg situation. now im rambling.

so yea it could be either way. the planets control us, our the planets merely show whats happening to us. rationally both can be argued. hmm wheres your mercury? what kind of mind do you have? rational emotional?

anyways

good luck solving the anger thing. by the way where is your mars? you said in the 7th house, what sign? could you post your chart?

Thanks, that was brilliant. I've actually been incredibly calm now that the moon is in Taurus lol. Anyway, I am fairly new to astrology - I think I'll eventually learn how to handle t Mars sitting on my ascendant or whatever goes on up there (I don't even want to check) with experience and wisdom I guess. Yeah I haven't decided to post a chart yet...too private...due to certain shy 12th house planet (my convenient excuse).

The planets can be your friends, as well as your enemies - depends on how you want to view 'em. ;)

Astrology articulates the heavens in order for you to make the best possible choice by applying the information to your life. If some transit looks bad, don't run and hide under a rock, do plenty of research, get opinions, find facts, look at what else is happening in a chart. You need to be thorough, if not, it is lost to you.
Yep, except it's hard to know the "truth" nowadays with so many info being sugarcoated - that's why I am on this forum asking people's own experiences instead.
