We WILL live long enough for a Tesla - I'm rather sure we are headed that direction , but I do love my older used Mercedes. He is the more modern type and Electric is the "now" and the future. The Tesla, (if that is the one he gets eventually), will be "our last vehicle".

I recall my father in law (a Scorpio Sun), who said the same thing, "THIS is my last vehicle" when around our age. I think it was. A bright red sporty Plymouth which his daughter took.

Do you know movies where there is something related to astrology and zodiac signs?
I would love to see something like this.

The movie based on a true Serial Killer called the "Zodiac Killer"

This is a documentary briefing of what they knew about him or thought they might know:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E50DcFQ6qtg

Also, this one wasn't the original one:
Heriberto "Eddie" Seda, a.k.a. "The New York Zodiac Killer", was a serial killer who copied the Zodiac Killer .

The Hellenistic Astrologer Chris Brennan, has a Podcast in which he highlights, various movies with Astrology in it's theme:

Uran stations Direct tomorrow afternoon, January 18th here, in California, and just after midnight on the 19th in England, and will be ready to rumble. Expect surprises.

First surprise! Pandemic restrictions are being dropped in the U.K., and the EU is being pushed by Spain to drop them also.

Are they? I heard something about civil servants are no longer working from home to lead by example and encourage other businesses to follow suit. Are masks still required?

In Italy masks are required even outdoors, and to enter cafes, restaurants, theatres, etc you have to have a valid "green pass", which is issued by the national health service when you are vaccinated, or when you recover from Covid.
The restrictions apply to Regions, so some can have tighter restrictions than others, depending on the number of positive cases they have registered.

Wow, that is extreme!! Fascism. It’s my body my choice. People are such scared sheep.

I hear from customers all over the country at my work and some complain how they haven’t been feeling well because they’ve taken the vaccine. It’s like they’ve been poisoned and there is fear in their voice because they feel ill but they still don’t voice their concerns about the vaccine, not outwardly anyway.

I feel sorry for them. If I was in the vulnerable age bracket, I would be scared into taking it like they have been. Scared into poisoning themselves and vulnerable.

I went to the supermarket last wknd for the first time since I recovered from covid. I walked past an old couple and the old man was very nice and smiled and nodded at me but still kept a distance. I felt so bad that they didn’t know I had just had covid recently. It made me realise how much trust is involved in going out in public if you are in the vulnerable age bracket. It made me realise how hard this pandemic must have been to old people.

But then people who aren’t quite as vulnerable as that sweet old couple, people who haven’t had the mental strength to stop themselves from being afraid and instead turn fascist towards others, I don’t empathise with those people.

They are empathizing with hospital staff when they behave that way, but not with psychologists, social workers and child guardians. Strange. Too much Grey's Anatomy?

So I guess at the start of lockdown last year, when the whole country was standing outside their door and saluting the NHS at the same time every night, it was some type of subliminal programming to get people to respect authority and then turn fascist towards others.

Any news about the U.K. ending mandates? There's a link to an article about this in the Covid vaccine is ready thread.

Sorry but Fascism is outlawed here, this is a socialist country!

Italy is a Leo sun, and currently having Uranus square and Saturn in opposition.

"People are such scared sheep."

The other day a woman in her home heard a crash and ran out to help a motorcyclist who went off the road. Unfortunately she was in quarantine, so she was sentenced to 2 months arrest, or a fine of euro 4.500, for violating the quarantine.

Haven’t heard anything about employee mandatesZ I just read the article about face mask requirements ending end of Feb and a major one, self-isolation requirements ending end of March. That’s basically the end of it all by end of March then.

Nice :D happy days :)

That was nice of the woman to follow her natural instincts to help the man. Not very nice of Italy to punish her for her empathy.

Indoor mask mandate is over, at least. Nightclub restrictions over in 6 days.
Looks like they're just letting mandates already in place expire, instead of stopping them right away.

Sounds like you are lucky to be alive.

We have a hybrid but I’d like to go fully electric before California incentives reach end of life; gas is well above $5 / gallon so it’s really painful to fill up. The electrics are a lot nicer than the hybrids.

Do you like it?

I have had a lot of “accidents” broken bones, stitches, and just plain weird things. The bigger the boat the bigger the storm. Had more than a few strange plane excursions. Once had a guy put us into dive in a four seater. My husband and I held hands. We usually don’t. And others. There is a long list of weird travel stuff, my Uranus in the ninth of long distance travel and his in the third of short distance travel. But, we have had some strange fun. We were on one ferry when it hit another. Yeah, fun and games, and lucky to be alive. 🙂😁🙂😁

Here is something to consider that is "different" Driving on a new thoroughfare, a freeway - to my daughter's house when she lived about one hour from us for the July 4th weekend one year. As I recall, we had a pickup truck we used then often enough, but took the Corvette that day, as he like that vehicle, and like you, I never cared for them, because they are hard to get into imo.

Anyway, as we head down the highway, thinking, it's a breeze on this particular highway getting there, not as busy as the Interstates; before long, a huge tractor trailer type truck (many wheels), came up (he had been in the left lane, perhaps attempting to pass us??)

We were then on the right lane not speeding. :whistling: :pouty:

All of a sudden (Uranus like event), my husband grabs my hand and says "hold on", as this truck smashed into our vehicle, sending us sailing through an off ramp, turned us around the other way, but all was "ok", in the end, as we weren't hurt. My husband has always prided himself on excellent driving record for over 50 yrs. teaching all our girls, etc.

The truck driver came over as did the highway patrol. The truck driver (a semi-long type), came over and asked if we were ok, and we were we told him. He said how sorry he was, that he honestly believed we got off at the ramp, (we had not, nor did we intend to ) .....he didn't see us in his side mirror.

We were VERY lucky that day according to the State Police, because we could have died he said. My husband believes it was the choice of the lower built Corvette that saved our lives, because of the maneuvering he could to swiftly and convinced that had it been the truck we used,(although higher), it would have "rolled over twice". :pinched: When he said to me, "hold on" both his hands looked to me like a professional at the raceways would do, (left, right, circle, etc) And we'd not have walked away. The vehicle was just about totaled, (we still have it all repaired and painted, mostly left side damage, plus the front (battery etc), but don't drive it any more, in our older years.

Instead, he opted 3 years later to get us a Mercedes that I always felt was a safe vehicle. I love it for ease of getting in etc.

He still loves Corvettes, but doesn't drive them anymore.

I think he's waiting for the Electric Car esp. the Tesla to get all the kinks out, have more incentive for us, like the battery to be a longer driving time, and of course cost....

We see a LOT of them on the road now in Arizona. I can't tell one from the other but he knows. I really like our car now. I always think, "boy there is a lot of discretionary money out there in Arizona" when I see them so often unlike a year ago.

Accident in Corvette: occurred July 3, 2007 -

with Tr Jupiter rx over my 5th cj. my SN opp the 11th NN within 3 deg. conj. Uranus with the NN in the natal.

His natal: Tr Saturn over his 9th (another luckier house), as is the 11th?
conj. his P.O.F. his n. Saturn & Pluto  prog. Mercury conjunct 2 deg. 1st house n. Jupiter with SN (opp Algol )

Tr. Jupiter 11 Sag conj. closely to Prog. Sun 13Sag.

I chalk everything up to "it wasn't our time yet", and of course depicted by the positions of Jupiter mostly. He'd probably say, "its the lower gravity vehicle" he thinks and his own capability with it, that saved us.

Actually I just reminded him, and he said, the truck hit us more towards the rear, causing the Corvette to pivot to the oncoming traffic, (on the left) so he maneuvered when telling me, :pinched:

by getting the wheel to the opposite side (the off ramp, area) like a ditch area.
Not sure since it was the rear and side, why the front was damaged to cause a new battery to have to be installed too, but it was. He also reminded me that a lady who had been behind us, got out and came over to the crowd and congratulated him for his great job, (she saw the whole thing), ---- we never sued the man, I felt badly for him, plus being just grateful as we were it was only the vehicle. Good karma that way is added. :)

You are lucky to be alive too! Quite the adrenaline rush. I can tell when I am in shock, it doesn’t really help much to know, I just realize that I am cause you can feel the tingling inside. Still make bad judgments though, in the head on, I was tired of dealing with it, so I got in the van, it started and tried to back off the Suburu attached underneath, cause I wanted to go home. Cop turned the van off. 😁🙂😁

Italy is having a terrible time with Covid, and the government is reacting stupidly.

While the UK begins to loosen Covid restrictions, the Austrian Parliament has gone 100% in the opposite direction.
Bad precedent for the rest of the EU countries.

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...troduce-mandatory-vaccination-for-all-adults/

"In a vote of 137 to just 33, the Austrian parliament has overwhelmingly voted to make vaccination against the Wuhan coronavirus mandatory for all residents over the age of 18.

The Austrian parliament voted to approve the new mandatory vaccination policity on Thursday night, which will include all adults over the age of 18 who have their primary or secondary residency in the country."

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/20...s-austria-considerably-intensifies-crackdown/

"Austrian police are to considerably ramp up checks regarding COVID restrictions. The crackdown will even go as far as deploying plainclothes police to the streets to catch out those who might attempt to go about their daily business while avoiding officers, top Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung reports."

Speaking of government overkill.

The EU borders are open, so not quite clear if you need proof of vaccination to enter the country, or if you are visiting and stopped for a control can you be fined or ousted from the country.
