I didn't see it. Sometimes, we don't see new threads, for me because I go to subscribed threads first and many times don't see the new ones. I know one too. And i know his birthday.:sideways:

Nancy (Little Nancy) because she was only 4 ft. 11inches or so, under 100- lbs. got 33 yrs. She's still in prison. It was the FBI, the Postal Service and their depts. that prosecuted her for putting the old man she stole from into a her daughter's school steamer chest -and then dragged it out of the car and p ut on the Appalachian trial near a dumpster. No one could figure how she did it alone. A strong little lady. Aries Sun.

I'm glad they dropped the death penalty they originally wanted and opted for life in prison although she may get out before she dies.

Here is the thread & her chart post 137 & 138 before the thread died a natural death from boredom :)

Shocking really. I still can't get over it., but I"m sure what everyone is missing is the death (murder) of her father at age 15 as the root stimulus.

It's a depressing subject. I don't even like looking up the charts of serial killers, even though it can be informative.

I don’t go there a lot. It is interesting, because you can see the tendencies. I haven’t looked at his chart in years. Don’t know if I still know his time. I haven’t looked at his chart since before he was convicted for life, no chance of parole.

I am happy that the family of the victim has closure.

I am sad that the family I knew, had to go through this though. I know his children.🙁 His wife, parents, siblings, and cousins.

A tragedy.

Guess that’s why I haven’t. We have taken care of his children. Housesat at his parents. I worked for his mom.

Yup! It is depressing.

I thank my good fortune (and so does my husband of course), that she didn't bother taking me up on my offer as I invited her to my house with her kids (2 daughters were young) and mine, the same ages. She never responded to the invite. We had bumped into each other at an A & P Food Store in Ellicott City Maryland a really nice upscale neighborhood and I was shocked she lived there too.
Carl Jung said this was not per chance. He called it synchronicity...had meaning. I believe it did.

On the way out, as she got ready to check out first, I said, "you know Nancy, I never forgave you for that Christmas Eve" and she looked confused - I was laughing - as it was as a joke. I said, "Remember, your dad , you and me walked to the open air market down the street 2 blocks to buy a live tree, and you wouldn't want with us dragging it back to the apartment( they lived in a 2nd floor apt.)

We were just kids. She then smiled, but it was a hollow look and confirmed the memory.

At that time, unbeknownst to me, is she was stealing her friends mail, when she saw offers for credit cards, and did that type of fraud too! That is why I lucked out for sure after all that she didn't take me up on my offer to visit. It was in the middle of her crime spree. She hadn't met her victim yet, that would be years later a few husbands later when her girls were now in college.
She was selling door to door in a nice neighborhood, Life Insurance policies, and he bought one from her, a pretty young girl (perhaps late 30s by then) and him the age of her dad. They both loved going to Atlantic City NJ to gamble.
Probably at the Trump gambling casino too. :)

He mortgaged his house, sold it for her gambling debts and bought her a Mercedes. Never knew what lay ahead.

The tree thing is funny. Funny, she didn’t want to get her hands dirty. She did.

Just embarrassed to be seen by friends possibly, with dad dragging the tree behind him.
I recall my eldest daughter in the Mall where kids loved to go. We dropped her off to meet her friends, and sat on a bench near a store. Me, her 2 sisters, and when Becky walked by us, we waved saying "Hi Beck, over here"....she ignored us as though we weren't there.

It was funny! (both the tree and kids ignoring you as though you can't see them) I suppose many teenagers do this. You can't be cool, dragging a live tree.

I had a friend, his kids were great. It was funny to me, that when he saw us at the mall or store he always said hi, and opened the door if we were carrying.

He was cool. Unafraid of showing his Freindship. Very cool!

I don't think it really says something about the character of the person.
She turned out to be a generous, caring loving soul who helps everyday in the soup kitchens in Seattle, near her home, and does countless good acts of generosity.

She is a younger soul however. even though the oldest child in the family. Young souls have a lot to learn. I didn't take offense, actually, we laughed over it.

No big deal, I understand everyone is different.

I felt that way about Nancy too, thats why I laughed about it in the food store, but she does not laugh at herself. Many people can't or don't. Perhaps far too overshadowed by ego of the self, not understanding the true self or soul, laughs at itself at pompousness.

I tend to let people be who they are....as all grow in their OWN time.

Very true.

I knew a guy in high school. Had “the” girl, the clothes, popular, cool.

Saw him on a bus. Wearing pajamas. I didn’t recognize him. He did me.

He was still nice, but something changed him.

This was before pajamas were outdoor go to the store clothing.

:surprised:

You never know....But it occurs to me that Nancy was on the Buddy Deane Dance show a few times a week, clothes were very important to her and she shopped at "the" place to go in Baltimore for more well off teens, a place called "Lee's on Broadway" . Her dad always made sure she had pretty much whatever she wanted. She did get a weekly allowance, and I don't recall her working for money or wages after school either. None of us did back then. My 3 girls all started working at 14, at the Marriott Retirement Home in the Dining room with their chums at high school.

When my middle daughter Jen, (the only one we are in touch with now), recently decided during her Pluto transit over her 2nd house (still there), that she was going to change everything in her life. Sell the house quit looking for another job to support a mortgage, and work only part time as needed. The house sold (thank god), so she got out from under that large mortgage, as a single woman alone.

She used the proceeds to buy a small condo, only 800 sq. ft. 1 b/r with a den - and loves the idea. (she is a minimalist like her Dad , both Scorpio Rising people)

She was able with the proceeds, buy the condo for cash. So no mortgage any longer. Even her car is paid for. Only has incidentals of course which add up (insurance, car, HOA payments utilities, etc. ) She said she figured if she didn't work at all, (A Capricorn Sun, Taurus Moon not work??? no way)that she could make it on savings for 6 yrs.

Already found a part time job which might turn into something. She hired herself out as an organizer, and this lady keeps calling her back to organize her life, lol.

She told her dad, "I've been working since I was 14" (true), so I know she's beaten down and just tired.
She's one of 4 - 5 million out there who isn't going to bother going back if she can help it. She does plan on going to night school for extra courses, like conversational Spanish (we live in AZ so lots of Hispanic people)

and went to Spain this summer to practice her Spanish.

I'm glad for her and hope it all works out as she plans. Life has a way of interrupting our best laid plans. :sideways:

Pluto transits can be downright weird!!

How was the Full Moon in Algol transit? I had a little trouble with a woman boss at work with the way she spoke down to in front of everyone about not doing something (that I hadn’t even been trained in how to do) and then ignored me when I asked how to fix it. She’s an authoritarian type. But the manager sorted it out the next day and told her to watch her tone of voice.

Due to Pluto and Saturn transits, I have been under a lot of stress and so this Moon transit kind of pushed that stress over a little further but also made me realize I need to start thinking about stress and the effects it will have on my health in general.

I also ended up reconciling with my on-off again romantic interest. He didn’t apologise because he’s a stubborn Sun Virgo, Moon Capricorn conjunction Saturn type, but his behaviour was a lot more emotionally available than he has ever even before, so that was really nice.

How was everyone else’s Full Moon experience and as a side note, has anyone else had lessons about stress or taking it easier?

The Sun has just ingressed tropical Sagittarius.

The Moon is on the verge of ingressing tropical Cancer, an hour from now.

Great matchup!

It’s 8c/47f here today brrr 🥶

Why is Sag sun and Cancer Moon a great matchup? They’re both quite calm and friendly signs. Both have a spirit of cooperation.

That sun/moon opposition is opposite/conjunct Algol and both luminaries are square my triple conjunction between Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron in Aquarius(My most stressful period is when Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto conjunction is also conjunct my Rahu/:northnode: in 2020)

This morning it is 6c/42f...I am sitting by my computer with a jumper and dressing gown on and still freezing. At least I don’t need to leave the house for work though, so I should not complain.

Looking forward to Saturn moving on...being delayed in career matters for no reason (managers have said there is nothing wrong with my ability and I’m not being deliberately held back). Feel like screaming but treating it like quick sand and trying not to struggle against it too much. Although, me being me, I have raised my voice and complained about it to Human Resources. Hopefully making a nuisance of myself doesn’t backfire on me.
