You know a country is isolated and universally condemned
when its leader
is met
with cavalry parades, artillery salutes & Russian F16s making smoke tricolors :)
The Putin was made an example of, the world sees how isolated he is
with the purple carpet which is the symbol of highest honor of a king, emperor
or a ruler of a sovereign empire :)
Putin got airplanes, air shows,, thoroughbred horses, camels, a 21 gun salute,
warm handshakes & hugs.

Putin doesn't need fanfare. But the Arabs decided to give it anyway.
Whereas when the president of the biggest economy in the EU shows up
they let him wait for 30 minutes.
Putin was welcomed with the respect he deserved.
He is a Leader to his Country that most of the collective west cannot hold a candle to

Las Vegas Metro Sheriff Kevin McMahill providing preliminary details ​

into the active shooter incident ​

that occurred on 6 December 2023, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. ​

The gunman died in a shootout with police​

& was a 67-year-old career college professor​

who had recently unsuccessfully sought a job with UNLV​

a law enforcement official told The Associated Press anonymously.​

The United States has used its veto power to shoot down a draft resolution :)
at the UN Security Council calling for an immediate end to Israel's war on Gaza.
The vote was called after UN secretary general Antonio Guterres
invoked the rarely-used Article 99 of the UN charter.
Al Jazeera’s Kristen Saloomey reports from the UN headquarters in New York.
