You've got to give it to him. The Gemini influence I suppose. As dumb as he is, the dumbest man ever imo; in this great office for 4 years - he's QUICK on his feet to think of excuses when it comes to crimes. In this one, he's come up with the OJ excuse. Yes, "GENIUS" I agree@
"The cops planted the glove, it wasn't there before"

Well, they could have planted some medical cannabis vaping cartridges and locked him up for 9 years! Marijuana is still illegal under federal law.

Btw, why IS marijuana still illegal under Federal law? Seems antiquated.

Well, the House already passed legislation to legalize it federally, while leaving it up to States to legalize it or not in their own jurisdictions.

But, in the Senate, supposedly "State's rights" Conservatives are against that. So is the Pharmaceutical-industry.

This morning in New York Civil court - trump said he took the 5th Amendment, something he once said, ONLY the GUILTY and the MOB TAKE! BUT in his case of course, it's different. An exception. Because the New York Prosecutor is conducting a witch hunt, same as the Justice Dept. (so he says) so he felt he HAD to take the 5th Amendment. The Mob takes it, so he will too he said.

Oh, and of course, his beloved fans, (believing them to be dumb as stumps) are asked immediately as soon as possible to send him tons of new money which they do whenever he asks them to - for ?? I don't know just "cuz". He sees a new path for more millions to raise from the new era Moonies who believe anything he says. BTW: Hillary and Bill did the same way back after leaving the WH. So he learned how easy it was I suppose although he was always a con from NYC. They all raised multi-millions for legal fees from the dumb fans, (pseudo brainwashed Moonies) and then bought themselves new mansions) Cool huh?

note: BTW: pleading the 5th is the same as throwing up your hands saying, "okay you got me, I'm guilty"

Weisselberg and Eric Trump each invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 500 times when questioned by James’ lawyers during separate depositions in 2020, according to court papers.
James alleges the Trump Organization exaggerated the value of its holdings to impress lenders or misstated what land was worth to slash its tax burden, pointing to annual financial statements given to banks to secure favorable loan terms and to financial magazines to justify Trump’s place among the world’s billionaires.

James, a Democrat, has said in court filings that her office has uncovered “significant” evidence that Trump’s company “used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations to obtain a host of economic benefits, including loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions.”
” He’s also accused James, who is Black, of racism in pursuing the investigation.

Have you mentally prepared yourself to see Donald Trump placed in handcuffs on CNN yet?
You better. It’s coming. They’re not gonna stop.

I can only hope so, because the Law is supposed to be blind in this country. Applying the same to both the rich, the powerful and the poor, in the same manner (which we know it is not most of the time) because the wealthy have expensive teams of lawyers.

The blindfold covering the eyes of lady justice represents objectivity. This means that justice is objective. When you are blind, you cannot see a person’s identity, beauty, wealth, power, race, etc. And this is how justice is supposed to be; it should be blind.
When you are blind, you cannot see a person’s identity, beauty, wealth, power, race, etc. And this is how justice is supposed to be; it should be blind.

The blindfold that the lady of justice wears on her eyes represents the fact that justice is blind. And as a result of that justice is delivered in an objective and an impartial manner.

In addition to her blindfold, the lady of justice is also often depicted carrying a set of scales and a double-edged sword in her hand. The statues of the Lady Justice can be found in courts all over the world.

Triumph of the Will video which captured the imagination of the masses in Germany for Hitler: All show, all bluster ....much like trump tries to emulate according to the Military who balked against his ideas and would not carry them out. People are very easily led, much like sheep are. That is why sheep was a perfect symbol for the Good Shepherd to use in his parables.

Hitler commissioned the film and served as an unofficial executive producer; his name appears in the opening titles. The overriding theme of the film is the return of Germany as a great power, with Hitler as the True German Leader who will bring glory to the nation.

Triumph of the Will was released in 1935 and rapidly became one of the best-known examples of propaganda in film history. Riefenstahl's techniques, such as moving cameras, the use of telephoto lenses to create a distorted perspective, aerial photography, and revolutionary approach to the use of music and cinematography, have earned Triumph recognition as one of the greatest films in history.[1] Riefenstahl won several awards, not only in Germany but also in the United States, France, Sweden, and other countries. The film was popular in the Third Reich and elsewhere, and has continued to influence movies, documentaries, and commercials to this day

note: During the 4 yrs of trump - the Military started to balk and fight him "tooth and nail", especially the Pentagon. Regarding a Military Parade he envisioned having in D.C. much like this one (see Video after 1:30 ....onward) etc. They started arguing openly with him and refusing him saying they would resign. Mattis said, "he rather would eat acid". He was insistent he wanted the same kind of parade that France put on when he was there for Bastille Day.

Why is the warrant sealed? We still don't know what they were allegedly searching for besides - well - basically overdue library books.

Why was no-one, including Trump's lawyer, allowed to be in the room while the FBI was searching?

Does this sound like normal procedure to you? Because it sure as hell doesn't to me.

It is NEVER allowable for anyone to be in a house, in a condo, in an apartment with FBI agents as they go through a search. They must stand outside and wait until it is done.
My understanding is although the agents said the security cameras must be turned off, they were also left on., so any kind of shennanigans that trump tries to pull about "planting things" like an OJ gloves theory, will be provable that its a another lie.

He wasn't treated nor was his lawyers nor was his house any differently then anyone else any other citizens in the United States with a Search Warrant.

Why should he?

Since trump knows, surely his lawyer must know by now if he shared it with them.

Depending on various reasons, Warrants are sealed. In this case, it may have to do with Classified information that is so highly classified, they it can not even bear a name in public I have read. Once again, trump can tell the public however, because HE KNOWS what he stole and made off with.

I believe it comes under the 4th Amendment rules:

Search & Seizure -
Police may allow the person to enter the house if escorted by a police officer to ensure no evidence is altered, destroying, removed or hidden prior to the arrival of a proper search warrant and a proper search pursuant to the warrant.
They keep you OUT of the house for a variety of reasons, chief among them:
for a host of reasons including officer safety and preservation of evidence

In otherwords, not everyone is trustworthy, even lawyers- (most of all, lol) trump has been seen "eating evidence or documents" in the WH. - perhaps his lawyers do too!

Have charges been filed listing exactly what laws Trump is accused of breaking?

"Destroying archive material", for example? What about, "taking classified documents without authorization"? Anything specific?

Charges are only filed during an indictment. IF there is one that is. This search warrant may have been to help the Archives get their material back that he refused to turn over after over a year of asking for it. Enough time was expended in begging. But who knows what they may have found in addition to what they went for?

Today I just heard that Fox is saying trump and his "gang" of merry men are taking the 1st step to demand another hard copy of all paperwork, including a typed out list so we may yet hear soon what that"original" inventory was.

That's not actually the case. If the lawyers asked to be present, they should have been present.

Even if like everyone else who works for trump, he signed a loyalty agreement? (i.e. probably eats evidence or takes evidence or cannot be trusted as many crooked lawyers have admitted to i.e. Michael Cohen, Gulianni, etc ?) Of course they should not be. Lawyers are human beings subject to the whims and follies of all other human beings.

Like these past lawyers?

example of "His" lawyers:

The judge said Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, and other lawyers who worked with them "have scorned their oath, flouted the rules, and attempted to undermine the integrity of the judiciary along the way."

His fav lawyer, who he never has to pay:
Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani had his law license temporarily suspended by the New York Supreme Court Thursday for making “demonstrably false and misleading statements” in his effort to overturn the presidential election, potentially becoming the first in a series of Trump-allied attorneys who could face disbarment and other serious consequences for their post-election lawsuits.
