June 12, 1990 marks the decision by the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic to declare “state sovereignty” of the republic. June 12 is Russia’s National Day. It’s chart widely used.

Good post. Except you should bold-print the words Pluto in Aquarius so they aren't missed as astrological posting. Otherwise, there's a chance it could be deleted.

The most OBVIOUS solution would be to have an open-door policy regarding welcoming Russian-speaking CITIZENS of UKRAINE who would PREFER to live under Putin's governmental policies, INTO RUSSIA, and making them CITIZENS of RUSSIA. That would be fully in keeping with their right to SELF-DETERMINATION.

That would have ended the civil war bloodshed CAUSED BY the WELL-ARMED, Russian-speaking, Putin-backed Ukrainian SEPARATISTS, WITHOUT causing much MORE death and destruction by attempting to ILLEGALLY annex Sovereign Ukrainian land.

Well, David, Putin can't negotiate if NATO refuses to honour the Minsk Agreement & to break every agreement they
made with Russia.
NATO were not allowed to expand further east but they did anyways.
They were not allowed to offer NATO membership to nations which are on Russia's borders.
This was all laid out in LAW.
But NATO broke the law over & over again.
The corrupt, swamp want to keep total control of europe, both east & west.

I actually think Putin should have acted earlier....as soon as the Azov nazis started killing & bombing eastern Ukraine.
Sometimes, can be too accomodating; too polite.
But then again, Putin is a Master Strategist with those lovely placements so he timed it when he thought best.

A stellium in Libra actually shows Putin's willingness to negotiate. He offered negotiations twice during conflict and many times before the conflict and he was always rejected.

What you are describing as "RIGHT FOR SELF-DETERMINATION" would have been ethnic cleansing of Russian people from their centuries old lands.

RIGHT FOR SELF-DETERMINATION functions like this: If people of Texas decide and vote they no longer want to be part of US then they don't move to Mexico as you are suggesting but the territory of Texas is no longer part of US. They keep their territory with them. If they then vote to join Mexico, then what was previously the territory of US becomes territory of Mexico. That is the RIGHT FOR SELF-DETERMINATION.
