every chart/lagna has a badhaka sign-planet which acts as hindrance slowing down the process, causing stress, delaying things, prone to health issues-disease.
what is japa for moon in airy gemini 8th?
9th lord for luck moon in airy gemini 8th for sudden losses, dangers, negating luck, prone to disease, etc calling for recitation of mantra,
can be done by a qualified pandit.
may also wear pearl over a silver pendant to strengthen moon and luck, strengthening the stone with moon mantra.
what about Moonga & Ruby?
asc lord mars is already over 11th for gains with debilated venus, and rahu, gains from foreigners. rahu catalyst causing rise-fall.
mars-venus artistic tastes, romantic, mutual attractions, etc. 11th house for disease too being 6th from 6 tending to intestinal, kidney issues etc.
if desired may again wear moonga, diamond, gomed, over a pendant - not over finger to get positive benefits-gains of the placement.

sun is already strong over leo 10th, no need for ruby, rather homa for saturn fiery leo affecting sun - career, health, parental relationship, etc, while may be good for admin leadership, public admin/control.

I too was born on same day but different time and place. 29.Aug.1978 5.05 PM Pondicherry.
Born in Makara Lagna with Lagna Lord combust in 8th house together with Sun in Leo. Yogakarkara Venus debilited in 9th house together with Mars & Rahu forming Pitru-Dosh with some relief of 9th Lord in 7th house with exalted Jupiter aspecting Lagna. Parivarthana of 6th Lord Mercury & 7th Lord Moon.
Currently passing through bad phase of Mercury Mahadasha(good) Mars Antardasha(bad) leading to accidents causing fractures of limbs.
May I know if I can expect any relief in upcoming Rahu Antardasha within Mercury Mahadasha. Will Rahu in 9th house keep spoiling luck though in own sign Virgo. Will Rahu act negative because Saturn is combust in 8th with Sun. Should I wear Gomed stone for Rahu together with Stone for Mercury.

Sun: I am programmer but due to accident 6 months back, I could not go to office last 6 months and at home
Mercury :I have multiple options but am doubtful & have difficulty in choosing the correct option immediately. Perhaps Rahu is spoiling luck at the last moment.
Moon: Marriage/Love/Relationship has never inspired me ever until now as I have stayed away from this. Venus is debilitated in Virgo sign in both Rasi and Navamsa and in vargotamma. Besides Parivarthana of 6th Lord and 7th Lord makes it worse I hope.
I am looking forward to some remedy for the hardtimes in the coming 2 years.
